Hello everyone!
Yesterday and today have been very productive day working on revisiting and fixing any thing I find that needs fixing AD / A-1 Skyraider, F-86 Sabre / Sabre Dog, andd F-89s.
I am very happy with the results, after updating them to the latest sttandard of waht I have learned so far with this projects:
1) for non-HUD version (optical sight, such as A-4, F-4, etc..), for nav modfe, the opticla sight is turend off
2) By toggling the sight mode to AA or AG, will always turn it on, especailly if switching to gun mode for specific aircdraft, will enable the gyro computing sight, such as F-4 / F-8 / F-86 / etc...
3) Adding the missing aircraft , such as A-4M, A-4N, and other aircraft.
4) Adding new accessiblity based oon what I have done for F-4 / F-8 / F-86 sabre and Sabre Dog that carries IRM / F-89
I want to share some interesting notes about AD / A-1 Skyradiers:
For DAY based AD / A- there is only one type of gunsight for AA and AG mode.
However, for Day and Night version of AD, such as A-4NL and other series designed for night mission, there are two type of sights;
Night mode (AA mode)
Day Sight (Normal Sight - AG Mode)
And news about F-89 series; I did some re-working on them as I revisited them, I realied I have two version of F-89s packs, so I went for the latest one by Wrench (F-89 remod v3) and woked on it from there with cockpits / radar / Optical sights.
For F-89D / H / J
There are two version fo sights, which is modifeid N-9 sight. the AA version will have regular sight, while the AG version have an extra symbol near to bottom part of modifeid N-9, which is desigend for rockets.
With that, you can switch between AA / AG mode for normal or rocket version of modified N-9.
And the optional accessiblity feature feels very fitting as well!
when there is a lock on aircraft by radar, the small bracket appears:
when AAM ahve lock on target (SAHM or IRM)
Now revisiting F-102, F-106, F-51 (P-51), and MiG-15 before finishing off F-4s.
