This was fun. I missed a few (I'm not a big TV fan) that were obvious in hindsight, but I was so proud of myself for getting Ash's Oldsmobile from "The Evil Dead."

In a subject that should be a dead issue, we get this last piece of insulting "literature."

I was thinking that I might pick it up as well. From what I have seen of it, it's some serious eye-candy, and I DO like Harriers. I also have the early access jitters, but I took a chance on the 1st version of SF, and have never regretted it. Who knows, I might catch lightning in a bottle for the 2nd time.

Still a classic ride

Going into enemy territory is always a dangerous proposition. When you have to go in deep and unarmed with nothing more than a set of cameras and extra fuel, the pucker factor climbs. It all pays off when you catch them unawares.

Heavy Metal Ninja. I loved flying over the thick SAM's in the Korea (V3) terrain, and just ghosting in to the target.

From someone NOT a modder or a skinner, I'll throw my cards into the game. For me, it becomes an obsession when it starts to dominate the majority of your time, and other things that are important to the process of your REAL LIFE are pushed to the margins. It becomes an obsession when the things that matter are subordinated to what is considered "fun", and the "fun" becomes indistinguishable from the everyday drudgery that you went looking for the "fun" to get away from. You gentlemen do astonishing work, and you probably don't hear nearly enough of just how MUCH it is appreciated. But I can see where you could get burned out on it, for awhile, possibly permanently. I would say they you (and you alone) know when that distinction has been reached, and if you need to step away and go fishing. So from over here in the flatlands, I would hope you never let this become an obsession that causes you to put away your modeling tools; and if I have to wait the proverbial "2 weeks" while you take the time to work out your OCD issues , or just take a break to attend to the REALLY important things (Women, cars, Women), like family, I think we can respect that, and wait. And the ones that can't, can wait with the rest of us. Hope this made sense.

Getting back into the cockpit after a short hiatus.....

I remember seeing this site for modelers, and it carried decals & paint schemes for a lot of planes. I saw VMA-331 included in Low-Vis, but I don't know how much help it will be.
