  3. assuming you mean Strike Fighters 2 Vietnam, go to the my documents\ thirdwire \ StrikeFighters2 Vietnam \ Screenshots folder... correct path also depends on what OS you have, there are some differences in XP and Vista..

  6. yep in the avionis ini, go to the HUD section [HUD] HUDColor=0.0,1.0,0.0,0.7 BoresightOffset=0.0,0.0 ViewportTopLeft=-0.115,-0.080 <-- this defines the upper left point of the HUD area ViewportBottomRight=0.115,0.23 <-- this the lower right GunBoresightAngle=0.0 RocketBoresightAngle=-1.5 Note that positive numbers increase the area DOWN, and decreasing the value/ negative values enhance the area UP In this example, to enhance the HUD area further down, you would need to increase the 0.23 value ( cant remember the measurement of the value) Start with 0.25 then check in game, adjust until you have what you want.

  8. Ah.. and ( IIRC!) some promotions or medals also require a certain number of kills in a mission.. dont remember if the kills are counted by type.... probably not.
  9. Its based on how many points you get, 3500 or more and you have the MoH. Some targets like fueltanks and ammo bunkers (?) are high valued, have many points ... thats why it is very good to shoot up the fuel farms on airfields in SF mercenary campaigns ... easy money Some medals are limited in how often they will be awarded There should be some ini file in which all that can be changed... I usually the point values for promotions... that way I can play whole campaigns but remain at lower rank levels

  13. The Falklands mod comes with a great Agusta A109A helo by Erikgen with fantastic flight model by kreelin, and a new TMF Gazelle AH.1 , also with a supa kreelin FM

  15. No HUDs. The F-4G had a modified gunsight, the electronics put a green cross on the combiner glass which pointed out a located radar emitter to the pilot for a direct attack. Cant do that in the games.
  16. They were "Arnie" jets, upgraded with the ARN-101 digital navigation and weapons delivery system. That means they have CCIP ( nothing fancy, no green stuff, no HUD, just he normal red sight reticle on the combiner glass which shows weapon impact point ) which never worked really good due to some quirks int he system and Pave Tack capability. TMF made such a kite, and I think it could be included in Ds with the next update ...

During egress a low flying MiG-17 was spotted north-east of the battlefield and shot down by #1, a second MiG-17 was gunned down by #3 over the battlefield. #1 is promoted to Captain . Our forces finally captured Jarimin. --------------------- msn #11 Date: 10/22/62 Callsign: MEMPHIS a/c typ: A-4C 4 a/c, 6x Mk82 2x 300gal tanks all a/c Task: STRIKE Target : P9 airfield, runway Remarks: long range strike, 200+ nm to target. Runway was cratered with Mk82 by #1+2, #3+4 bombed the airfields local chicken farm. Coming out of the dive bomb attack heading north our division spotted several MiG-17 at approx. 5000 feet direct ahead, 2 MiGs were shot down, one by #1 and the second by #3. One further MiG-17 was damaged by a gun attack of #3, MiG was last seen heading north, smoking heavily. Egress uneventfull. Our ground forces have captured Ragnat! VMA-311 is relocating to P4 airfield.
