In the late 80th, early 90th the chinese developed a new version of the J-7 with the degination J-7E. It had a new double delta wing, increased fueltank volume and ecm jammer. The new wing, which was fitted with slats improved the agility of the plane by 84%. It can now turn with a rate of 25°/sec. As radar it use the chinese copy of the british Skyranger range finder radar with a maximum detection range of 15km. Wenn keine Waffen geladen werden sind keine Pylone sichtbar. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob das bei westlichen Luftwaffen usus ist, das die Pylone dann abgebaut werden wenn man sie nicht braucht. Bei den MiG's blieben die Dinger jedoch immer dran. Man hat höchstens die Startschienen abmontiert. Wie kann ich es hinbekommen, daß die Pylone im Spiel immer sichtbar sind?

Jack, in the file you posted all heightmapscales are set to 50. Give it a try to reduce all heightmapscale values to 0 and then test it again. Perhaps it will work. Do you see the airfield from high altitutes? Or are the airfields always invisible. If you see the airfields from the high and they disappear if you come close or low, then the heightmapscale setting is the reason for the problem. If you never see airfields you must set a correct link to the .cat file.

Now it depends on the terrain. In my Deutschland terrain, for instance the tiles which are used as basich for airfields are called Feldflugplatz (in other terrains it are different tiles). Tolle Sache! Wo hast Du das nur her? Mein russisch ist zwar ganz schön eingerostet aber das Ding scheint auf den ersten Blick echt zu sein. Was mich stutzig macht ist der Fakt, daß in dem Manual die Rakete R-73 nicht erwähnt wird. Die R-27R1, R-60MK und R-60M werden erwähnt und deren Einsatz beschrieben. Von der R-73 und der R-27T keine Spur.

Meine Frau war krank, Computer zum spielen blockiert, Fernsehprogramm war mies, also habe ich mich hingesetzt und was über die NVA Technik geschrieben. Das war vor genau einem Jahr. Download the B-1B for SF2. Unzip the plane into WOE,WOV,WOI,SF1 objects/aircraft folder. Open all B-1B ini files with Microsoft Windows Notepad editor. Save the files in ANSI format. Thats it.

I think it is real, no fake. Radio news said, that the iranians are negociating with the russians to offer them the possibility to get access to the drone. No good news for the USA. What if Teheran will ask China too? The US government is saying, that they want to get back this drone. Thats a proof that there is really one lost. The iranians say, they have the drone and now the US government says, that they are thinking about a special forces raid to get back the drone or destroy it. If the showed drone would be a fake, the USA would act different. My 2 cents.

Irgendwie habe ich das Material zum Radar der NVA MiG-29 verkramt. Ich weiß, das Genie beherrscht das Chaos, aber ich bin numal kein Genie. Sorry. Die einzige Quelle die ich gefunden habe sagt aus, daß das Radar in der Verfolgungsjagd ein Ziel mit der Reflexionsfläche von 3m², also F-16, auf eine Entfernung von etwa 100 km erfassen und auf etwa 50 bis 60 km aufschalten konnte. Bei einem frontalen Abfangmanöver soll die Entfernung größer gewesen sein, um wieviel sagt das Stück Papier allerdings nicht aus. Ich werde weiter buddeln. Vielleicht finde ich ja noch was zu dem thema.
