Totally agree - the business model is GAME because that's where the money is - despite TK being a devout aviation enthusiast he has to put food on the table at the end of the day so no problem. DCS seems like the alternative for the hard core - but for others maybe there is no alternative - unless you time freeze your SF2 at a certain patch but then newer drivers dont work etc. Maybe he should stop SF2 where it is and just dev the mobile game. The mobile games can be SF3 which I would gather is going to be Windows 8 so will run on tablets and PCs.

Respect the decision Storm - I rarely use SF2 at the moment - and when I do its because of the choice of Jets and era you currently don't find elsewhere. SF2NA has some great new things - but I dont like the way SF2 is being infected by these changes to turn into more of a game. TK has even written that features from the mobile game will later be incorporated into SF2 - so well I dread to think really - assume it will be like a free web site game in the end.........

Yes I was - the new patch seems to have sorted this out though - so not a problem.

It wasn't the hit rate - it was the damage being done to bombers from missiles - look at this shot: 17 missiles hit the Tu-16s (all flying straight and level with no expendables) but not a single bomber was brought down!

Yes - the missiles now seem to work in hard mode properly and actually take down the bombers.

This could have been caused by problems affecting your ISP in the local area - or too many people were trying to use it at the same time (depends on the ISPs setup but it can happen).

Downloads fine for me as always - the latency is not the issue - mines double that shown in the output above. Are you using WiFi by any chance?
