  1. hmmm - I would question whether you can actually have that many strategic Nodes - When doing a Vietnam campaign I had to scale back my plans to about 13 Strategic Nodes and I notice WOE only has about 26. Also check for spelling mistakes and ensure your install has all the correct objects.
  2. There are still squadrons like multivipers about I think - check old threads for links Some used to play here: http://hyperfighter.sk/
  3. Have a very Happy birthday :drinks: :drinks:
  4. Basically the press particularly the BBC should never be taken seriously without actually looking at other material. The problem is the majority take them at face value without realising they often leave out important information. That article makes no attempt to inform the reader what a rabbinical court is - so the majority will think it the standard justice system in Israel. Now is the writer lazy, misinformed, an animal lover, an Isreali hater - and does the BBC officially condone such **** being written.........you decide.
  5. First they lie about their existence, then they lie they have been retired hmmmm
  6. Have you tried changed the Antialiasing value in the options.ini? [GraphicsOptions] DisplayDeviceID=0 DisplayWidth=1280 DisplayHeight=1024 DisplayDepth=32 AspectRatio=1.250000 AntiAliasing=10 <--------------------- UseAdvancedShaders=1
  7. What - and wiki says they are all retired Guess they could have a requirement for using them for testing still - might be the only available stealth bird at the moment.
  8. Put false under the enemy force as well If they are allowed to advance no wonder they are winning FTR - the SF2V campaigns do have ground units in them - they just cant move so nothing happens with them!
  9. Ahhh - for some reason the Typhoon has the same RCS as the F-22 and is a stealth fighter. Can only assume this was the impression they got from the Eurofighter marketing before it was in service Choose the MiG-29 - thats what you will be fighting against AFAIK only the Typhoon has this defect yeah you need to practise getting swift with those cursors - move it over the yellow square and note the altitude reading it gives in case its about to move out of your sweep altitude.
  10. What type is the bandit? - if its an F-22 it wont show up at 20 miles Are you using realistic avionics? If so - which radar mode are you using? only RWS or TWS for that range Is the radar on? check OVRD is not highlighted What range is the radar set to? Have you ever seen a radar contact (yellow square)?
  11. Not really fussed these days - If I think it sounds good I normally listen to it. when i used to give a toss it was anything with a guitar preferably that heavy fast blues rock sound that I got into via the Stone Roses, which then went into Led Zep, Guns & Roses etc Today Iam listening to a Ministry of Sound 2011 Annual
  12. Behind bars he might get something worse than a Hamster shoved up there! Hamster down
  13. What - thats standard practise in the British Hospitals these days since the funding got cut
  14. A nice read with some detailed tech info
  15. Really sorry to hear that Teras - not a lot you can say to that - you must be going through hell! I really hope someone comes up with a solution to help you guys soon.
  16. There are probably a few videos on you tube about on how to deal with missiles but no way to easily dodge any of them. The best advice I can give you is to use Dogfight mode and start on 1 vs 1 with 2 missiles each - without the practise and knowledge you need from this you will be ejecting everytime - especially at higher levels. In this sim the A-A missiles rarely miss.....
  17. The radar generally works ok - the bandit has to be in the sweep though. Your solution is getting the hell out of there and regaining some SA or help from other assets - remember there could be a missile coming at you already. Any idea what range and altitude was the bandit at? - it is basically out of your sweep - or you are not letting it sweep long enough to get a return at a particular angle. TWS is a radar mode - do you mean you can see him on the RWR scope? The scan is limited, RWS and TWS modes are not very useful if the bandit is within 10 miles - because they are too slow - even after you move the antenna you need to wait for the return which will take a few sweeps - also the bandit can get above or below of the sweep at close range - in that case try to use the 60 ACM sub mode and scan for him visually - note this only applies to training modes where bandits don't have missiles.
  18. Wingmen use the defined loadout in the loadout.ini - or you can change their loadouts manually in the loadout screen in game. Guessing that this is only happening with add on Jets - if you go to the loadout screen and there are no weapons loaded at all - then either the loadout.ini is missing/not set up properly, or you do not have the correct weapons installed into the game that it needs. Look in the data.ini for a section regarding the door and see if you can change the method to manual - as a hint you can probably do this the same way as opening cockpits manually and assigning them to an animation key.
  19. That is some paint scheme on that FA-18F! Wow - the terrain looks fantastic
  20. Its the AIM-7 from his wingman Craig "Mole" Underhill apparently - check out page 2 or 3 I think
  21. Actually Sandy I should have said that WOV does not take into account the Jamming support that would have been available by such fine aviators as Ezlead, let alone the pods carried by the F-4s!
  22. From what he describes I'm not sure we are seeing the entire photo there (where is the F-15?)- would need a higher res image - and not easy to tell the actual range either.
  23. Interesting read for those interested check out the AIM-7 photo: "THIS IS AN AIM-7 AIR-TO-AIR MISSILE SHOT FROM AN F‑15 EAGLE DETONATING ON AN IRAQI MIG‑29 FULCRUM DURING OPERATION DESERT STORM." "]http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2009/03/the-last-ace/7291/[/img]
