  1. Congrats Nesher - best of luck on your new path
  2. That is interesting - havent checked that myself. The total (all programs) physical RAM usage sits around 3.2GB running SF2I in game when I check it.
  3. Yes its worth checking this - also check if your PSU is rated at enough Watts to run the card. I have tried running lower Wattage PSUs years back but over time they eventually start to creak and cause black screens.
  4. Looks like a good site - they have some other IAF jets on there as well
  5. Surprised you can run anything on unlimited with that setup - and when you go on a campaign in SF2E with a lot of objects or add a third party terrain you will really slow down. The GeForce 210 is probably the main issue here - its low end and wont cut it for SF2 - I did have a GT220 for about a week and it was poor even on medium settings. You will need to change the graphics setting until you get reasonable fps for now. More RAM might be a good idea if you are running the 64bit version of Win 7 - I have 6GB RAM with an ATi HD5770 and Intel i7 - thats not enough to max out the settings with a lot of objects up at the same time.
  6. What is happening when the game crashes - do you get any error messages? next - what version of the HD4800 do you have? what version of the ATi drivers are you running? - have you tried different drivers? What settings do you have the graphics on in Game? - try reducing the graphics a bit - particularly shadows What patch version of SF2E are you running?
  7. Imigrants will stop at nothing to get where they are going
  8. The problem is either with Windows or your hardware - What are your system specs?
  9. Many happy returns to you both :drinks:
  10. assume you havent changed huddata.ini Firstly check your in game options - if simulation difficulty is on hard - set it to customise and change the HUD display to normal. Even in this mode you should be able to toggle through the modes using alt and D
  11. The game may be using the advanced shaders now - you may need to add a line to the effects ini similar to that outlined in number 31 on here: http://combatace.com/topic/44026-converting-older-planes-to-work-in-sf2-a-basic-guide-by-migbuster/ Its worth extracting some stock effect inis and checking
  12. Happy Birthday - think the wife should do all the moving though on this special day

    THE f***?

Pah - and who thought the FA-37 was the only jet that could perform such manoeuvres
  14. Some of the terrains have high rise, skyscrapers and other buildings now I have noticed - although the only terrain mod I have seen with them arranged in streets is on a recent FE2 mod .
  15. Not sure - do you think your clips are moving out side the TrackIR Field Of View? Personally I set it so that the default view is when I am right back in the seat so its easier to zoom in.
  16. what did the pilot say? - "oops didnt realise that would happen" - yeah right
  17. Many congratulations to your son
  18. - did he even notice - cant believe this is for real.
  19. Jeez - typical the croc survived - and probably thought it was in food heaven until someone found a machete it seems.
  20. Fantastic - cant they afford Submarine driving lessons anymore also - dont worry its got a fantastic auto pilot
  21. I will take the YF-16 thanks - put a few AIM-9Ms on the tips just to reduce the wing flutter and voila
  22. Nah forget the Fleet Air Arm - the RAF will be flying from Acension in those Tornado GR4s they somehow managed to keep - if we can get a few more tankers from somewhere
  23. 6.5 is certainly an improvement over review posted on imdb
  24. Sounds like a very interesting idea - I would certainly look forward to such a scenario
  25. Yeah but only about 4 days ago!
