  4. F-16C/D blocks 25 on should have been capable when the Missile came in from the early 90s. F-16AM as hgbn said above F-16ADF F-16E/F Block 60 F-16A Block 10/15 OCU may have been capable after upgrades but not sure if they were ever fully installed.
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-11511886 Russia inflates its military with blow-up weapons By Steve Rosenberg BBC News, Moscow Blowing up Russia's inflatable army The Russian military has come up with an inventive way to deceive the enemy and save money at the same time: inflatable weapons. They look just like real ones: they are easy to transport and quick to deploy. You name it, the Russian army is blowing it up: from pretend tanks to entire radar stations. The decoys are a hundred times cheaper than the real thing, which means Moscow will save a lot of money by blowing up its own weapons. Continue reading the main story Related stories * Russia boosts military spending * Global military spending surges On the edge of Moscow, two men carry a black duffle bag into a field, then drop it on the ground. When they open the bag, they take out a large sheet of plastic. It looks like a tent or a tarpaulin. In fact, it's the Russian army's latest strategic weapon. It doesn't need ammunition - just air. When you finish sewing them and you watch them being filled with air, it's so satisfying” End Quote Lena, sewer On goes the pump, in goes the air and the plastic sheet begins to rise and take shape. A turret appears, then out pops a long plastic gun barrel. This is an inflatable Russian tank. State-of-the-art When the men pump up their next piece of plastic, this one expands into a S-300 rocket launcher, complete with giant truck and inflatable rockets. It is a cross between a ballistic missile and a bouncy castle. And waiting to be blown up are inflatable MiG fighter jets - even entire Russian radar stations. An inflatable missile-launcher in Russia The inflatables are stitched together at a former hot-air balloon factory These state-of-the-art stand-ins are among the most advanced military decoys in the world. What they lack in firepower, they make up for in flexibility: they are light and can be deployed quickly to deceive the enemy. They are also very realistic. They are made of a special material that tricks enemy radar and thermal imaging into thinking they are real weapons. The inflatables are stitched together at a former hot-air balloon factory. "I'm proud to be making entire rocket-launchers and tanks for our armed forces," says Lena, who is stitching a surface-to-air missile system. 6. Happy Birthday
  7. Crikey - thats the kind of bloke you want in any company - what a guy!
  8. Enjoy This fits perfectly
  9. Really sorry to hear of your tragic loss Veltro - I hope he is now in a far better place
  10. Did you install the patch over a modified install?
  11. Wondered what the entire flight sim world was playing these days It sure looks the part anyway!
  12. Try moving the nose up or down or changing altitude - the radar antenna cannot be moved manually in this sim - so you need to move the nose. A Jet with ECM on will be on the radar - you just wont be able to lock it up at certain ranges.
  13. Well if its any consolation - those recommended specs above run Falcon 4:AF just fine at full whack
  14. If you are an online player there are a few people about that still play it on WOV - check some old threads or the virtual squadron chat area. The SF2 series had online play removed from it - due to some changes in Windows Vista/Win7 - Thirdwire doesn't have the budget to program the whole thing in again yet. This series is designed to be moddable (hence the many free downloads on this site) - so people create their own individual installs to whatever they like. This also means that when it comes to online - you need to have the same installs - so its not always practical for people to keep enough installs. Also you need to trust the other person doesn't show up to your dogfight in a Spitfire that flies like an F-22 because they've just changed the flight model Falcon 4: Allied Force from 2005 is the latest Official version of Falcon

    TK store !

Have you tried to contact Thirdwire? - they are the only people that can help you with this
  17. WOV runs okay on WIn7 - but its not supported by Thirdwire on Vista/Win 7 - and there will not be any patches updates to it. Start here with these articles by an ex F-104/F-4 pilot: http://www.simhq.com/_air/air_061a.html http://www.simhq.com/_air/air_055a.html Then see loads of old threads - then practise a lot - easy If you have Windows 7 why did you not buy Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam - its vastly improved.
  18. Not for those who dont like climbing ladders - or 1,763ft masts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhtgsAXmz7U&feature=player_embedded
