  1. I could see where that story was going - glad you kept the bike and yourself safe
  2. Happy Birthday Misty
  3. thats very impressive!
  4. A very happy birthday - enjoy the Cherry Pie
  5. F-16C Block 40 - he states all Hill squadrons had completed their transition to the type by early 1990. That was carrying the APG-68V(5) radar - http://www.f-16.net/f-16_versions_article7.html - and he does use a CCRP mode for some of the missions. The only in game TW F-16 is the F-16A Block 5/10 delivered to Israel in 1980/81 with the APG-66 - which Im not sure had such capability.
  6. Pretty sure TK is right - that F-16A block didnt have TWS mode on its APG-66 in 1982.
  7. Also good for finding ships Any idea what year a radar came into service that could lock onto ground targets?
  8. The free one is Freetrack which Ive never used - it may require some basic electronics and soldering to get it running. Check some old posts - Some people have built them before on here - but recommend TrackIR really.
  9. May he Rest in peace
  10. Guess we will see in October - Maybe the RAF budget will have to fund all of the F-35s
  11. Terrains will be in downloads - NF4 would come with its own terrain.
  12. I havent seen anything in regards to this either - however you dont actually get this issue using a TrackIR so its not something I have noticed and I use the 3D view a lot.
  13. Thanks for that guys - very much appreciated Happy birthday to you Sakai - have a great day
  14. You can bump up the graphics settings like Effects - or try setting UseAdvancedShaders on in the options.ini
  15. Was ill at the time - when I switched the TV on no one seems to know what had happened - it was strange seeing this tall building with smoke coming out of it. The cameras were showing people above the fire looking out of windows - and I remember thinking that they should be okay if the Firemen can get through the fire. Seemed to think it was like the towering inferno - never thought for one second the building would collapse. When the second Airliner hit though it was suddenly clear what was going on - and watching the buildings going down live was truly shocking.
  16. Happy New Year chaps
  17. Never seen it in June 2010 - have just ran a test with AA-3s on an Su-15 Flagon A and they are fine. The fact that its not happening to the other textures tells us its prbably the weapon model or skin. Look in the AA-3 folder and check the skin, or the inis for any strangeness. Is the AA-3 in its own folder or scattered about in the old format? See if you can get hold of another AA-3 and see if it does the same
  18. Wow - has he ever been in an Aircraft - or seen one in real life even - I'm guessing he's flying alright and he doesn't need a jet to get that high.
  19. Happy Birthday to you
  20. The Blitz in pictures http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11175676
  21. Well you can always just copy the MiG-25s folder from NF4 and plonk it in your current install with the weps you need. High end systems need to turn the settings down with SF2 so I would defo expect it needs to be done on a Laptop. The radar settings can all be changed in the avionics.ini Brake parachute was part of the model - not an ini edit I think.
  22. Interesting question - I suppose Modern and WW1/WW2 AI can get away with horizontal turning fights without most people noticing. Ironically I have had experience of such things in Wings Over Israel - Enemy jets have always been better at not getting into slow turning fights. MiG-23s sometimes engaged me at high speed and kept their energy high - this is still not perfect - but better than them slowing down into a futile turning fight - what happened to those guys!
