  1. I decided to make a post so I can put all my work in one place I hope you okay with that. Okay here is the update of the M978/M977 HEMTT more detail will be added but this is how it looks so far.
  2. View File Blackburn Buccaneer S.22 - RAN This is the Blackburn Buccaneer for the Royal Australian Navy. This package consists of complete aircraft. Historical Background The military buildup in China and Indonesia in the early 1960s led the RAN to renew the airwing of its 2 Audacious class aircraft carriers, HMAS Sydney and HMAS Melbourne. At the beginning of the decade, these British aircraft carriers fielded an airwing of F3D Skyknight all weather fighters, FJ-3 Fury day fighters, and Westland Wyvern attack aircraft. All were considered incapable of coping with the fighters and air defences projected to be introduced by Indonesia and China in the ensuing years. To respond to this situation, the RAN formulated requirements for an all-weather supersonic fighter, and a carrier-capable strike aircraft which could deploy a "special munition" after penetrating enemy defences. For this latter requirement, only two aircraft were viable, the Grumman A2F, and the Blackburn NA39. The Navy had concerns about the A2F's complex DIANE system, but overall favoured the US offering. The government, on the other hand, saw the Buccaneer requiring less of Australia's dollar reserves, and an order for a British aircraft could provide the British government a greater incentive to engage in nuclear cooperation with Australia. Since the naval fighter requirement was likely to be fulfilled by the McDonnell F-4 Phantom, using a British strike aircraft would keep the two big allies in balance. Therefore, the Government ordered 38 Buccaneer S.22s. The S.22 was basically the same as a British Buccaneer S.2. The RAN's first Buccaneers were hoisted into HMAS Melbourne for delivery as deck cargo in 1965. Deliveries were completed in 1966. By the end of 1967, HMAS Melbourne was ready to sail with 854 Squadron fully equipped with Buccaneers. The RAN's Buccaneers did not participate in the Vietnam War, though some of their pilots and observers did fly 2 Squadron's Buccaneers on exchange to the RAAF. In 1970, the government authorised a "mid-life update" for the Buccaneer. This update was carried out by the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation, and included upgrades to the Buccaneer's weapons, and defensive systems. In particular, it gained the ability to use guided weapons, and the new Pave Spike pod. Deliveries of upgraded Buccaneers, designated Buccaneer S.22D began in 1972. The Liberal/Country Coalition government intended to use them in Vietnam, as a "political replacement" for the Task Force in Phuoc Tuy province, which was withdrawing. The Labor Government elected at the end of 1972 cancelled this deployment. The Buccaneers spent the rest of the 1970s and 1980s on deployments, mainly in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. In 1990, the Government decided to retire the carriers, and replace them with two Invincible class carriers. HMAS Melbourne was already in inactive reserve. Some of 854 Squadron's Buccaneers were turned over to the RAAF as attrition replacements and parts hulks. It was the beginning of the end of the Buccaneer - at least it was until the invasion of Kuwait. HMAS Sydney, with 857 Squadron's Buccaneers, was dispatched to the Gulf. Some of 854 Squadron's Buccaneers, formerly attached to HMAS Melbourne, were sent to Bahrain to support the Buccaneers of 2 Squadron, RAAF. The HMAS Sydney's Buccaneers operated beside the US Navy's A-6 Intruders against targets in Iraq and Kuwait. After a successful tour of duty in the Gulf, the RAN's Buccaneers returned home. HMAS Melbourne was fully decommissioned in 1992, and HMAS Sydney in 1993. The RAN continued to fly a small number of Buccaneers out of HMAS Albatross in Nowra, New South Wales for fleet support. The RAN's final operational Buccaneer flight took place in 1995. After that, 2 Buccaneers were retained in airworthy for the RAN Historical Flight, a number were turned over the RAAF, and the remainder were offered for private sale, or to Museums - including one at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Nowra. Package 2 full aircraft, plus bomb racks. The S.22D uses the S.2B 1989 3D model for its Pave Spike station. The S.22D is edited to allow the use of US weapons. 5. Yamato Museum

While in Hiroshima this year, I visited the Kure Maritime Museum (呉市海事歴史科学館), also known as the "Yamato Museum." Kure was (and is) a major shipbuilding city, and the museum there is a treasure trove of history. Here are a few photos I took there. That's the decommissioned submarine Akishio across the street, attached to the JMSDF Kure Museum (which I also went to). The traffic barriers are armor piercing shells. The pier just outside the museum is a 1:1 mockup of the Yamato's deck. I took this from the forward anchor position, facing where the #1 turret would be. Only a small fraction of the ship is represented, but it's still huge. This is a 41cm (16") gun salvaged from the battleship Mutsu. One of the first things you see when entering the museum is the famous 1:10 scale model of the Yamato. She is glorious. The museum has a lot of static displays as well. Type 2 torpedo. Kaiten suicide torpedo. Kairyu midget submarine. Zero Model 62 fighter-bomber. Type 91 AP and Type 3 AAA-incendiary shells for the Yamato's 46cm main guns. Two more shots of the Yamato. There were many other exhibits, including the history of the city of Kure, naval battles of the IJN, the evolution of shipbuilding, and a multitude of smaller-scale model ships. If you happen to visit Japan and have any interest in warships or military history, I highly recommend this museum.

This pack represents the Mirage 5PA3 of the Pakistan Air Force used to reinforce the Navy with an Anti-Naval capability. Now the Question is are there other packs which represent this same aircraft?Yes but those packs require DLC to work. THis package contains the entire Aircraft with the necessary LODS, pilots and weapons hence, becoming a STANDALONE pack for this aircraft.Made specifically for the Indo-Pak Mod. The Mirage 5PA3 was acquired by the Pakistani Air Force as a new build aircraft during the Early eighties and has since been subject to many upgrades. The PA3 is fitted with a CSF Agave Radar for compatability with the (in)famous AM39 Exocet Anti-Ship Missile.Based on the Cockpit images,I chose the cockpit of the Mirage factory Kfir and modified the Radar values to match the real world aircraft. The Loadouts and Mission Data has also been adjusted accordingly aswell.100% Historically accurate Decals to represent aircraft assigned to the 8th Squadron "Haiders" based at PAFB Masroor at Karachi.Due to the limitations of the Mirage Factory Mirage 5BA model, the aircraft is not 100% identical to the real world jet as the nose is a little short and due to the absence of the 'radar bump' beneath the nose. Technical Issues: 1.Since I did not install NA due to space constraints, the Anti-Ship effectiveness of the AM39 Exocet could not be integrated. You can still fire the missile but it won't track towards anything. IMPORTANT: I HEREBY CLAIM NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY OF THE CHANGES THIS MOD MAY RENDER TO YOUR GAME(Even though it doesn't).IF THIS MOD IS INSTALLED,THEN IT IS DONE ONLY BY THE WILL OF THE USER AND I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS.INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK.(The mod is perfectly safe, but I still claim no responsibility just to be safe!) 13. File Name: Vertical Pack for Soviet Navy File Submitter: Snailman File Submitted: 25 December 2013 File Category: Other Soviet Navy Vertical Pack 1.00 This is the first complete version of the Vertical Pack, now including the Yak-41M (also known by its commercial designation as Yak-141). I have modeled the plane as if it was deployed into combat units with its military designation Yak-41M. The plane served aboard the aircraft cruisers Novorossiysk and Baku, and on the aircraft carriers Tbilisi and Riga, from 1991-2010. This is a fine tuned or modified collection of everything I could find to improve the planes. I lot of time was invested in research and testing to provide you a working and accurate Yak-38/38M and Yak-41M. All feedback and suggestions are appreciated. Install I tried to include every component I have used with the planes, so it should work with a fresh unmodded SF2:NA. If you have DirX 9 and Win XP, then you also need Gerwin's IcelandNA modded terrain for XP to be able to play SF2NA on your PC. Just copy everything into your designated add-on folder and it should work. Beware it may overwrite existing add-on files and components you already have. 14. Vertical Pack for Soviet Navy

Soviet Navy Vertical Pack 1.00 This is the first complete version of the Vertical Pack, now including the Yak-41M (also known by its commercial designation as Yak-141). 15. File Name: Sovremenny class destroyer File Submitter: WhiteBoySamurai File Submitted: 27 August 2013 File Category: Destroyers This model represents the Sovremenny class destroyer, the primary anti-surface warship of the Russian Navy. The Sovremenny is very heavily armed, with two twin-barrel 130mm automatic guns, eight Moskit missiles (SS-N-22 Sunburn), one of the fastest and most feared anti-ship missiles in the world, two launchers for Shtil SAMs (SA-N-7 Gadfly or SA-N-12 Grizzly), four AK-630 CIWS, four heavy ASW torpedoes, two ASW rocket launchers, and decoy rocket launchers. Three different versions of the ship are provided: Sovremenny class destroyer: Project 956, the original version of the ship. Armed with Sunburn and Gadfly missiles. Sovremenny (99) class destroyer: Project 956A, an improved version with updated radar, modernized Sunburns, and Grizzly missiles. Hangzhou class destroyer: Project 956E, export version sold to China. Currently in service with the PLAN. (An additional variant, Project 956EM, was sold to China. This version is quite different, with the aft 130mm gun removed, hangar lengthened, and CIWS replaced with two Kashtan systems. Only two exist, so I didn't include them. I may release this version if there is sufficient demand for it.) In any of its variants, the Sovremenny is a dangerous opponent and will make naval strike missions significantly more difficult. See the readme for full details. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or constructive criticisms regarding this model, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you! 19. File Name: [Renewed] F-4K Phantom II - Royal Australian Navy File Submitter: Sheriff001 File Submitted: 08 April 2013 File Category: The Combat Ace What If Hangar This contains three F-4K Phantom IIs in the markings of the Royal Australian Navy. 724, 805, and 808 Squadrons are portrayed. 805 Squadron is portrayed operating from HMAS Melbourne, while 808 Squadron is based on Sydney. 724 Squadron is portrayed as a training squadron operating from HMAS Albatross, a Naval Air Station at Nowra, New South Wales. The three time periods of TK's F-4K DLC are represented, original, 75, and 80. For all, a standard US Navy Gull Grey/White skin is provided, and for the F-4K 80, a two-tone grey camouflage is also provided for 805 and 808 Squadrons. The latter is similar to the camouflage seen on some RAN A-4G Skyhawks near the end of their service life. Modified F-4J loadouts are used. Please note carefully: You cannot use the inboard pylons and the AIM-9 rails simultaneously. If you load one, the other will empty. This is not a bug per se, this is simply an inbuilt limitation for the Spey Phantoms. The aircraft has been tested in a merged SF2 installation, patched to August 2012. I have included paulopanz's F-4K DLC enhamcement. I have included a squadrons.ini. This is not necessary for this mod, but is necessary for the RAAF and RCAF F-4M Phantoms. Incidentally, I'd suggest also getting Wrench's HMAS Australia (SCB-125 "What If") located here: http://combatace.com...cb-125-what-if/ Backstory The RAN proposed the acquisition of Essex class carriers to the Government in 1964 to replace the Majestic class HMAS Melbourne. The aircraft the RAN proposed was the F-4B Phantom. Operating an F-4B from the relatively small deck of an Essex class carrier is problematic, to say the least. On the other hand, the F-4K Phantom modifications would enable the operation of a Phantom from such a small deck. 25. File Name: F-4K Phantom II - Royal Australian Navy File Submitter: Sheriff001 File Submitted: 18 August 2012 File Category: The Combat Ace What If Hangar This is an F-4K Phantom II in the markings of the Royal Australian Navy. 805 and 808 Squadrons are portrayed. F-4J loadouts are used. The aircraft has been tested in a merged SF2 installation, patched in August 2012. On the other hand, the extra power of the Spey-engined Phantom would enable the operation of a Phantom from such a small deck. For further on this (including the RAN proposal itself) see the following: - http://www.secretpro...hp?topic=8449.0 For an alternate backstory, see this page on my wikia site: - http://themarshall.w...-4K.2FM_Phantom Installation ***********NOTE: TK's F-4K Phantom II from the DLC Store is required for this mod*************** - Copy the contents of the Aircraft folder into your Aircraft folder. - Copy the contents of the Decals folder into your Decals folder. No new weapons are offered. During the timeframe of this aircraft, the Royal Australian Navy used standard US Navy non-nuclear weapons. Credits TK - For the SF series of games, the F-4K DLC, and the F-4J template skin. Sundowner - For the Spey nozzle grafted on to the F-4J skin. Spinners = For the squadron decals from his RAN F-8E Crusader. Click here to download this file
