SF2 F-111B "Dominator"
By Wrench
GD F-111B Dominator, Fleet Defense Fighter
= For SF2, Any and All =
A "What If..." for your enjoyment.
A full(ish) SF2 upgrade pack for the F-111B Fleet Defender, assuming it had reached serial production and entered Fleet service in multi-squadron strength.
This pack contains 2 skins; one East Coast and one West Coast Squadron:
VF-84 "Jolly Rogers", USS Roosevelt (including CAG markings on #100 Bird)
VF-161 "Chargers", USS Coral Sea
"Accurate" BuNums, extrapolated from the protypes, reflect production versions. All markings are decals. Decal randomization is set to "TRUE".
All needed weapons (excepting the Sidewinders and Sparrows -which use stock in-game items-) are supplied. The AIM-54 supplied herein will NOT conflict with any others, stock or add-on.
New, SF2 versions of the hangar and loading screen are supplied. The aircraft is fully carrier rated, and the data ini incorprates the 'parked' wingspread statements for use in SF2NA or Post-April 2012 patch levels. Canopy animation is controled via manual animation keystroke, the Usual Susped , Shift/0.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! The Notes section contains further details, descriptions, elightenments, illuminations, and so forth. Be good to read them, too.
Happy Landings!

T-45A Goshawk for SF2
By Wrench
T-45 "Goshawk" Skins/Decals and Ini Update Pak
-- For SF2, Any & All --
The package is a slight revamping of RussoUK's T-45A "Goshawk" USN trainer. This complete full aircraft package incudes all new decals, a slightly 'noised' version of the skin, and some minor ini tweeks for SF2. The cockpit has been replaced by using the stock A-4B, as these don't have a radar. However, the radar-ranging gunsight and an audio-only RWR have been added. New decals for VT-1 have been created, as have BuNum tags.
Other ini edits switch the canopy to a manual animation key (use Shift/0 to open close), and a somewhat fancifull loadout ini, with loadouts for the STRIKE, RECON, CAS & ARMED_RECON profiles. (see Notes below for comments). Self-defense Sidewinders are carried on all mission profiles.
The Aden gunpod has been changed to allow for USN usage, and a substitute 100 gallon drop tank has been added. Both weapons are included; all other weapons fits are stock, with the exception of the CBU-59, so you'll need Gunny's Ordanance Shop for that.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install.
Happy Landings!

AV-8A Harrier for SF2
By Wrench
MDD/HSA AV-8A Harrier, USMC
-- For SF2, Full-4 Merged (Prefered) and/or SF2:E ONLY!!! --
As stated, above, you =MUST= have a Full-4 Merged install, or at the VERY LEAST SF2:E to make use of this mod package, as it references all stock items for the aircraft and cockpit that is ONLY found in SF2E or Full4 Merged game installs.
This package represents AV-8A Harriers as used by the USMC when first delivered. The skins (located for me by CA Member Amariani -many thanks!!) have been run through my HomeGrown template, for to reuse the tail markings, courtesy of 331KillerBee/SFP1Ace's WoE-to-SF2 AV-8A conversion pak (which this expands upon)
Skins and decals in the pak are for:
VMA-231 'Aces'
VMA-513 'Flying Nightmares'
VMA-542 'Tigers'
New decals for the serial, service name and BuNums are incuded. Some decals are modified from stock ones. These make use of the full color National Insignia, and not the LoViz as seen after 1980-ish (or thereabouts).
All weapons used are stock in-game items, excepting the 'new' units included. These are either clones of existing or, in the ALE-37s case, from the GunnyPak. The canopy is NOT activated, as there are no more animation slots available for it. Sorry! However, in compensation, there IS a working landing light!! <grin>
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install.
As usual, the expected "Notes" section for notes and other insane ramblings

AV-8S Matador (Spanish Navy Harrier)
By Wrench
MDD/HSA AV-8S (AV-1) Matador, Armada Española Arma Aérea
-- For SF2, Full-4 Merged (Prefered) and/or SF2:E ONLY!!! --
As stated, above, you =MUST= have a Full-4 Merged install, or at the VERY LEAST SF2:E to make use of this mod package, as it references all stock items for the aircraft and cockpit ONLY found in SF2E or Full4 Merged game installs. If you have neither of these, don't download this, as you'll not be able to use it.
This package represents AV-8S (aka AV-1 locally) Matadors of the Spanish Naval Air Arm. A completely new skin, from a Home Grown template was created, as was all but 3 original decals taken from the Matador pak from 2005. All new serial, name badges, and insignia markings were created (and, obviously included!) Some minor edits to the data, loadout and avionics give the aircraft a little more operational flexibility. All weapons used are stock in-game items. The canopy is NOT activated, as there are no more animation slot availalbe for it. Sorry! However, there is a working landing light, and a new SF2-style hangar screen (albeit a photo, as opposed to my usual 'boxart' type)
As as extra added surprise bonus, a skin/decal pak for the Royal Thai Navy Harriers is included as well (all 8 of them!). New serials and individual markings were created; all others are stock 3W decals (insignia, finflash) from the game's objectcats.
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me.

DH Sea Vixen FAW.1 & FAW.2
By Wrench
DH Sea Vixen FAW.1 & FAW2 for SF2
= For SF2, Any and All =
This is an upgrade/mod of Skippybings Sea Vixens, BOTH the FAW.1 and FAW.2 - so you get two complete aircraft in one pakcage!!! Such a deal!!! (Unfortunatley, this IS a rather large package...so, sorry!). This was done simply to make it easier for you, the End User to install. (Almost) Everything necessary to unzip, install, and fly away is supplied.
Included are updated versions of the BunyPak FirestreakIR and RedtopIR*, and the drop tanks. All other weapons used are stock items (with the possible exception of the AGM-12C Bullpup -not supplied- which may be from the GunnyPak)
*=these are seperate missile from the 3W Firestreak & Redtops; for use only on the Javelin and Sea Vixen FAW1 & FAW2. This was done on purpose -don't mess with this!!! Seriously .. don't. All things are done for a reason.*
Skins/decal sets included are:
FAW.1:
890 NAS (w/one Sundowner bmp, edited by me, so as not to waste decals)
892 NAS
893 NAS
899 NAS (these all by Sundowner)
FAW.2:
766 NAS
893 NAS
899 NAS (all Sundowner skins!!)
Where possible, the Squadron Badge has been used for the paint chip in the Loadout Screen.
Data and loadout changes duplicate the hardpoints (on the FAW.1 only); one set is ONLY for missiles, the other is ONLY for use bombs and rocket pods. Other tweeks to the avionics and cockpit 'clean up' or replace a few gauge skins, a new gunsight and missile "shoot cues" were created/modified from others.
A "new" engine sound is supplied for the Avons. Both aircraft have SF2 stlye 'carrier deck' hangar screens, and the damage/shredded tgas have been converted to dds (hope they work!!!). Flight model remains untouched; it "feels" about right. Remember -it's a gunless, missile-only armed Interceptor, NOT a dogfighter!! Fly accordingly!!
As a bonus, for those End Users with SF2:E AND with Expansion Pak2, there are alternate Data and Loadout inis for the FAW.1, adding the 2inch Micro-cell rockets. Usefull for hitting bombers, trucks, ships and other assorted annoyances. REMEMBER --these are 2 seperate inis, and you'll need SF2E Exp2 to get them to work. Instructions on how to switch are below in the "To Install" section. (these were removed on the FAW.2, so don't go adding them!)
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, highly detailed, step-by-step install instructions. This package is set up for a 'drag and drop' style of installation -- everything has been divided into the proper folder format that SF2 needs/wants/requires. Of course, the usual "Notes" section for other important stuff; might want to read it, huh? VERY Important info in there... So, PLEASE read it through after unzipping, but before installing. The procedures for missile firing should be reviewed.
Let's hope this one works!

MiG-17AS Fresco, Fuerza Aérea Revolucionara (Cuba)
By Wrench
MiG-17AS Fresco-A, Fuerza Aérea Revolucionara
= For SF2, (Hopefully, For Any and All with Access to the MiG-17 Fresco-A)
This is a re-packaging of the MiG-17AS, (iirc) by Starfighter2, as used by the Cuban Air Force. His original readme is also included, for you history buffs. As the FAR were the only users of the 17AS, this is a 'nationalized' version; both the _data.ini and Userlist.ini reflect this.
It makes use of (almost) all stock items, in particular the Fresco-A's lod. So make sure the plane-jane MiG-17 (no suffix letter) is available in your game install. In a pinch, you can edit the main ini to point to the MiG-17F lods, as they are mapped identically (don't forget to rename the skin maps to match the 17F's). A slightly revamped/repainted version of the "F6 Pylon" pak has been included for the outboard Atoll mounts.
The skin is a base natural metal, with a partly repainted (from a partial template) tail bmp to add the FAR rudder flash. New Bort number decals have been created for the approx 40 used by the FAR (*note: this number of aircraft may have also included standard Fresco-A and Fresco-C). These numbers are 'best guess', as only a few listings had been found during my research. The font used is also the closest match I could find.
The cockpit is Ordway's Mig Pit. The avionics ini has been 'tweeked' to add the radar ranging gunsight. A new 'generic' MiG-17 Hangar screen is included (albeit with Soviet markings on the aircraft). The canopy has also been activated via a manual animation key (use shift/0 to open and close it)
As always, please READ the enclosed 'readme' for full, detailed install instructions.

Lockheed U-2A for SF2
By Wrench
Lockheed U-2A
=For SF2 (any and all merge levels)
*Note: as I'm not fully sure if "Dragon Lady" applies to this early model, I didn't add the name*.
This is a slight overhaul of Pasko/Column5's Lockheed U-2A recon plane. This is a full aircraft pak, with a modified cockpit. All new serial number decals have been created, historcally accurate for the USAF version, and those discoverable for CIA usage (US civil N-series). Both the original skins (NM and 'dark gray') are included. A new SF2-style hangar screen is included, as is Pasko's "PilotU2" , dressed in the 1950s style pressure suit.
The flight model feels pretty good in SF2, considering it hasn't been tweeked since 2005, but the aircraft is NOT a fighter, so don't expect massive manuverabililty. Other ini tweek remove some unneeded cockpit bits, add an audio-only RWR (couldn't find any info if A-models had jammer suites), landing lights, and a working Driftsight (ie: downward looking periscope). A destroyed model has also been assigned, for SF2 users.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me.
You should pay special attention to the "Flying the U-2" sections below, as it explains the use of the 'driftsight' and other things you'll need to know for correctly flying recon missions in this bird.
It is also highly likely this mod can be used in 1stGen SF/Wo* with minimal adjustments -- as 08 level game also use the /Decals subfolder, this should pose no issue whatsoever. Some data ini adjusment of the landing gear rolling radi may be necessary. Since I don't mod 1stGens anymore, this was not tested.
And yes, for those that look for such things, there are 2 Easter Eggs in the cockpit (actually, 3, but one seems to have disappeared!).
Happy Landings!

P-2H "Neptune" Skins/Decals and Ini Update Pak
By Wrench
P-2H "Neptune" Skins/Decals and Ini Update Pak
-- For SF2, Any & All --
This is a mod of the original P-2H (P2V-7) released by Tracker and the Argentine Modders Group, incorporating some tweeks perfomred by ChampionsVA56
You do NOT need to original download, but if you want the COAN skins, you'll need it to add them.
All inis, lods, etc, and 3 new skin and decal sets are provided. The inis have been 'adjusted' back to original USN state, with a completely new UserList.ini, descripting the different countries that used this late-model Neptune. (NOTE: RAF is not listed, as they used only earlier models, with the gun turrets. Hopefully, I also got the users & years farily close, too)
Skins included in this set are:
VP-18 "Flying Phantoms", NAS Jacksonville as seen during the Cuban Missile Crisis
VP-65 "Tridents", NAS Point Magu, in the mid/late 1960s through the 1970s
VP-69 "Totems", NAS Whidbey Island, in the 1970s *
(* revamped version of pappychksix's, now with decals)
All new decals are included, many with historically matching BuNums-to-Modex numbers (wherever possible, and the information was discoverable). The Basic Skins for the USN Gull Gray/White and Seaplane Gray and White, can be used for many other countries, simply by creating new skin folders, copying the relevant files, and creating new textureset and decals inis that reference the proper markings and nationality.
A new weapon is included; the Mk.44 lightweight torpedo (note: it needs a new lod, as it's using the Mk.13 which is too long, but it works just fine!!). Loadouts have been corrected, with some reengineering of mounting points. Not perfect, but very workable.
Other ini edits use Champ's landing gear & light fix, and I've replaced the pilot figures with the stock 'Prop_Pilot' with the baseball cap. The engine sound has also been replaced, and supplied. It's not what I consider a perfect match, but it's seems what should be farily close.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install.
Warning Note: If installing fresh, do not use the original download;s inis, use these =ONLY=!!! If/when installing the COAN skins, use =ONLY= the skins, and nothing else!! You will mess things up severly, and have to start completly over.
Happy Landings!

B-58A Huster for SF Upgrade/Update Pak
By Wrench
B-58A "Hustler"
-- For SF2, Any and All --
This is a modification of Pasko's B-58 Hustler, to bring it more in line with SF2 standards.
If you have the 2009 SF2 Update, just install this directly OVER your pre-existing folders, allowing the overwrite. If you don't, don't worry about it.
Two skins are included (the same basic skin used twice), with all new 100% Historicaly Correct serial numbers, listing each operational aircraft that served with the 43rd and 305th Bomb Wings. Unfortunatly, I was unable to break them down each into which served with each of the 6 Squadrons in the 2 Wings, but this should do nicely.
There are also 2 cockpits included:
The original SF2 mod by Dave (USAFMTL), that uses the F-106 pit and,
An extensivelly modified F-4 Phantom pit (stock 3W ini only -as the cockpit exists in all versions of the game). This one makes use of many 'moves' to drop items out if sight, and uses the physical external model for the windshield framing.
Neither one is perfect ... this is elaborated further in the "Notes" section, with instructions on what to switch or turn off in the various inis; depending on which you choose. Right now, it's using the Phantom pit, as it really is quite a bit closer than the 106's.
In the Loadout ini, several alternate loadouts are listed. These can be accessed from the 3rdWire mission editor screen (for post-Expansion Pak 2 users). Other ini edits repositon the running & landing lights, add 'virtual' flaps (as this aircraft made use of drooping elevons -without the original source file this is impossible to duplicate-), minor engine adjustments, and avionics tweeks. It could also stand a slightly improved FM; the changes and other comments are in the "Notes" section. Weapons are included, the nuke explosion effects are =NOT=. YOu should probably have them from the GunnyPak. Speaking of weapons, a "new" 8kt ARM is included; this is a fictional ARM version of the Genie, more in line with "Fail Safe" and the No.6 Decoy/EW/Escort aircraft, and gives you a SEAD load. Kill SAM sites DEAD!!! Since real decoys don't/can't exist....it's just for fun! There's also and EO version, that can be used for STRIKE or SEAD missions.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me. This =IS= Required reading -- there are some issues that are addressed there.

F-4E Phantom II, RAAF
By Wrench
F-4E Phantom II, RAAF
For SF2 (any and all, Merged or not)
This mod creates a 'stand alone' aircraft, using all in-house/in-game stock bits, to recreate the 24 Phantoms used (for a short time) by the RAAF.
All new, 100% historically accurate serial number decals have been created for all aircraft. Data ini edits change (essentially) nothing, but nationalizing the aircraft to Australia. A new userlist is incuded -- the only real changes are that I 'cheated' and extended the EndServiceYear to 1980. The canopy is active via an animation key; use shift/0 to open and close it.
As the standard, garden variety F-4E (no year suffix!) exists in all versions of the game, this mod should pose no issues whatsoever for those that (for whatever reason) have not merged their SF2 installs. These would be, in Real Life , the 1969 Model year Phantoms (hence, they're spurious A69 RAAF coding)
You can use this pak in one of two ways:
1) Stand alone aircraft (as designed), or
2) additional skin/decal set for the F-4E. If done as an additional skin, a decals ini just for that has been provided.
A new userlist has been created, extending the operational years past what is historical. (Australia is actually listed on the F-4E's userlist, but only for a very few years 70-73). They now are operational from 1970-1980.
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me.

Soft targets for Wings Over Africa
While working on some new campaigns for Wings Over Africa, I have examined many detailed orders of battle for ground units and sub-units. And always in search of ultimate accuracy, I have realized that several of these units, even at division-level, couldn't honestly be materialized on this dusty battlefield with any of the many tanks, SP guns, or even armoured cars provided with the mod. Lacking armour and engines, these units should be definitely classified as 'soft' targets. Yes, that sort of targets that allow pure fighters even carrying machine-guns only to enrich their score anyway, besides...
Needless to say (safe for credits and acknowledgements), this work is an adaptatation from Kesselbrut's famous mod providing infantry squads and AT guns crews as 'soft' ground objects. Some files and several skins come from Heck's work for First Eagles, a handful of other skins come from various other objects, sometimes with my own graphical modifications. Proper credits and links are given in the ReadMe file. These new infantry objects will be required for a couple of new campaigns for WoA that I plan to deliver soon.

EF-4C Phantom Wild Weasel IV for SF2
By Wrench
EF-4C Phantom II (Wild Weasel IV)
-- For FULL-4 Merged SF2 (Prefered) and/or SF2:V =ONLY=!!!
First off, it should be stated that =ANY= of the SF2 series that have the F-4C_67 in their aircraft list, will be able to use this mod. Check your in-game player-flyable list to be certain.
This is a semi-major overhaul of the EF-4C as released in 2004, based off the stock F-4C. THIS version uses the stock SF2/2V, etc, F-4C_67 version and accomplishes pretty much the same thing. Almost all decals are from the original version by Crab02, etal. The only new decal is the tailcode/fin color flash, and that one is based of a stock F4SqTail from 3rdWire, redrawn to add the proper squadron ZG code. Loadouts are all stock items, so no weapons pak is even required. The canopy is activated via an animation key; use Shift/0 to open and close.
Mission statement have been reduced to "SEAD" and "RECON" (although, for a specalized, high value aircraft like this, even RECON is suspect). I was unable to find more information as to if the EF-4Cs were use for anything other than SEAD (unlike the F-105F/Gs, that were sometimes used for regular STRIKE missions)
As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install.

F-4D (67) LORAN Equipped
By Wrench
F-4D Phantom II, LORAN Pak
-- For FULL-4 Merged SF2 (Prefered) and/or SF2:V --
(it can acutally be used in any SF2 install that has the access to the F-4D_67)
This is a repackaging of the MPPD's F-4D Loran equipped Phantom, originally made for WoV, into a stand alone package for the SF2 series. While designed for mostly SF2:V, they can be used (as stated above) in any install that can access the F-4D_67. REMINDER- this is the ORIGINAL Loran pak, not the Night Owl skin pak.
All inis, decals and skin bmps are inculded. As it makes use of all stock items, minimal changes have been effected. In fact, the decals themselves have been pared down, due to the fact that I modified 2 of the skins to now have painted-on slimers, thereby reducing the package size.
The canopy has been activated via a manual animation key. Use Shift/0 to open/close it. A minor adjustment to the loadout ini has been made, 'upping' the STRIKE bombs to M-117, 750 lb bomb. The SUU-23 gunpod, while probably not used all the time, is carred for all but one mission profile (Long Range), due to the need for the centerline tank.
Included is mppd's original F-4D LORAN readme, full of historical details.
As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).
Again, as usual, the expected "Notes & Ramblings of a Madman" section for fun.
Enjoy!

National counters for Wings Over Russia
This mod provides you with a batch of colorful, reduced-size, more immersive counters, dedicated to each of the belligerent nationalities in Wings Over Russia, the free mod for WoE developed by The Dev A-Team. Besides having a more attractive map and less confused stacks, you can also find more easily the units you're after. As a rule, the counters with rectangular national flags and division (Axis) or corps (Soviet) devices show the ground units, while the counters with roundels concern the air units.
The represented nations are either present in the only campaign existing at the moment, or available for possible new campaigns and theaters on this tremendous Eastern Front (Finns, for instance). Three “nations” have also been added to the list (replacing others, actually): the Soviet Guards, the Soviet Navy, and the Free Czechs (who flew within the Red Air Force, like the French and Poles). You can see on the illustration the graphical interest of having the growing numbers of Guards units distinguished from the other stacked Soviet ones.
The modified Nations list also associates adequate lists of ranks with several of the air forces who fought over Russia, and adds some other slight modifications to reflect some realities of the Eastern Front.

Soft targets for Wings Over Russia
While working on some new campaigns for Wings Over Russia, I thought it could be a good idea to transpose into the infinite plains of Mother Russia my former mod providing infantry objects for Wings Over Africa – and thus, to hand over soft targets to be strafed by your Shturmoviks and Jabos. Here you will find Soviets and Germans, but also Romanians, Hungarians, Italians, Poles and Finns: actually, several of the enclosed units are linked to Eastern battlegrounds not included at the moment in Wings Over Russia (Poland in 1939, Finnish Winter & Continuation Wars, Danubian Europe 1944-45...); but I still hope that in some future they will be!
Once more, this work is an adaptatation from Kesselbrut's famous mod providing infantry squads and AT guns crews as 'soft' ground objects (with some files and skins from Heck's work for First Eagles, a handful of other skins from various other objects, and my own tweaked graphical modifications). Proper credits and links are given in the ReadMe file.

P-40E Soviet skins Pack
Working on a new campaign for Wings Over Russia (the liberation of Crimea, April-May 1944), I realized that I needed skins for the Lend-Lease 'Kittyhawks' used by several air units of the Black Sea Fleet during this campaign. So a little makeshift trick appeared to be necessary, to provide skins to the A-Team's P-40E. Clearly not a graphical artist, I had to select an existing skin that could be modified at lowest costs. Two of these skins are modified from a Desert skin by Scrapper, the third from a two-tones skin by Starfighter2. All of the credits and links are given in the ReadMe file. The P-40E with a shark-mouth nose-art (borrowed from Gramps' Desert skin for the No.112 Sqn RAF) is dedicated to the 7th Naval Fighter Regiment, which displayed this design for some time in 1943-44.

for both versions are 100% historically correct.
New skins for all were created using ravenclaw's beyond superb templates. All skins are in
jpg format. Decal randomization is true. New DDS damage textures are included, as are all new
SF2-style Hangar and Loading Screens. No weapons are supplied, other than the drop tanks, as
these use all stock in-game items.
An all new, SF2-compliant FM was created for these aircraft; it flys like it should!
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please READ
them! Also, the "Notes" section for a more detailed change/correction list.

OA-4M Skyhawk, for SF2
By Wrench
OA-4M Skyhawk by triplethr3at/pappychksix/Fracture
= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
** The Full-4/5 Merged is a requirement, as the A-7D_78 cockpit is referenced for the Mod
(SF2:E??).
If you don't have these minimum requirements, you shouldn't download this, as you
will not be able to use it.**
This is an overhaul of triplethr3at's SF2 USMC OA-4M Skyhawk FAC/Attack aircraft. All the
inis have been brought up to the latest (as of July, 2012) standard. Some modifications to
the avionics are existant more for 'playability' (meaning: it's far more capable then the
Real Life ™ aircraft).
Loadouts use all common or garden variety stock 3W weapons. It is set to fly all mission
profiles as any other standard Scooter (with the exception of carrier basing). Decal
randomizations is implemented, and all skin maps are jpg.
The avionics hump, while not fitting quite as nice as I would like, and the
'probe/antenna/blister combo kit' are attached via the Fake Pilot Method ™*
New damage textures (dds) and a new SF2-style hangar screen are included. Data ini
modifications using the 'Remove Component Trick**' eliminate the shadow tractor beams from
the outer pylons as seen on other mods using the TA-4J LOD.
The Threat Library also makes use of dtmdragons' extensively expanded list (not included). A
userlist is included, even though the aircraft has only one User (USMC). SF2NA style Carrier
statements are listed in the Data ini, but commented out; as I was unable to determine if
these ever were flown from The Boats.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So,
please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. More interesting and perhaps
vital info there, as well.
Triplethr3at's original readme is included for histerical purposes.

AC-47 MiniGun Pak Upgrade
By Wrench
AC-47 'Spooky' Minigun Model Pak
= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, Plus Expansion Pak 1 =
*Designed with SF2:V in mind*
A small update for the recently release AC-47 Spooky. This little mod adds the physical model (Lod) for the 7.62 miniguns, so they show sticking out of the fuselage. These have been added using the FakePilot method, so the "vitural" guns still remain active.
The AC-47 Pak can be found here:
http://combatace.com/files/file/12984-douglas-ac-47-spooky-gunship-for-sf2/
You'll be applying =THIS= package directly over the existing one, as a new data ini is supplied that mounts the guns. I've also changed the cockpit pilots back to the stock 'bone-dome' versions, as those are more correct.
The new miniguns and fakepilot are supplied, so not to worry when installing.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!
Also, PLEASE read the "Notes" section -- vital information in there that might assist you in playing this aircraft.
With extra special Thank Yous to RussoUK for whipping out the Lod in Max ... this really "ups" the look of the aircraft.
As time permits, the AC-47 Full Package will also recieve this update.
Good Hunting!

IDF TA-4H Skyhawk by pappychksix/fracture
By Wrench
IDF TA-4H Skyhawk by Fracture/Pappychksix 8/7/2001
=For SF2, Full-4 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred)
** May (ok, probably) Requires SF2:V -hence the Full-4 Merged requirement-, as the A-4E_67 cockpit and avionics are referenced for the Mod. If you don't have these
minimum requirements, you shouldn't download this, as you may not be able to use it withOUT heavy editing **
This is a overhaul of Fracture/pappychksix' IDF TA-4H Skyhawk trainer/attack aircraft. All the inis have been brought up to the latest (as of July, 2011) standard. Some modifications to the avionics are more for 'playability', as research showed these most likely did not have an RWR (but knowing the Israelies....). The
standard NAV/Attack radar, yes. Loadouts use all common or garden variety stock weapons. It is set to fly all mission profiles as any other standard Scooter..
New damage textures (dds) and a new SF2-style hangar screen are included.
Please note, that like the TA-4J recently released, the very same shadow issues =WILL= be present, as it uses the TA-4J's lod. You'll just have to live with that (see Notes below)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Fracture's original readme is also included.

Douglas A4D-1 (A-4A) Skyhawk Pak for SF2
By Wrench
Douglas A4D-1 (A-4A) Skyhawk
- For SF2 (Any and All, but Full-4 Merged Prefered*) -
*Note: this makes use of the A-4B lods, that are stock in most installs (SF2 & SF2:V).These and the cockpit may not be available in un-mergerd, stand alone SF2:E and most definately not in SF2:I. Hence, the 'Full-4 Merged Prefered' tag.*
The decal sets are taken from the various 1stGen mods of the A-4A, and where necessary I've redone the skin bits, using SF2 A-4B skins to bring them to SF2 standards.
This package included 4 skin and decal sets:
VA-43 Challangers (Gitmo, 59)
VA-72 Bluehawks (1956)
VA-93 Blue Blazers (1956)
VMA-224 Bengals (MCAS El Toro, 1957)
The VA-72 is my original from (whenever); the others were done by some talented folk I've not be able to ID -- as I lost the original readmes (if any). So, the credit is theirs for those skins/decals. I just edited things to fit. Where needed, created new decals.
Decal randomization is set to TRUE, so make sure you're at least at the July 2011 patch level (or whichever one it is...).
Data ini edits remove the refueling probe. The inis included herein are the latest, as of the August 2011 patch. All loadouts are stock ala the A-4B. The canopy is activated via manual animation, use Shift/0 to open and close. The landing light has also been added.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Of course, the usual "Notes" section. These will give you a nice mid-1950s collection of USN Light Strike aircraft for use in various "hot spots" of the time period.
Catch the 3 Wire!

NOTE:
with the release of the DLC A-4A, this mod became moot. However, the skins and decals can easily be adapted for use on that DLC.

SA-341 Gazelle for SF2
By Wrench
SA-341 Gazelle Helicopter by Kesselbrut
= For SF2, Any & All =
Some revamping for Kesselbrut's fine little light attack/observation helicopter, with some upgrades for SF2.
This is the complete aircraft, with all the necessary bits; weapons (some new!), pilots, sounds, etc, ready to unzip and install. A full 'changelog' is in the "Notes" section below.
Along with the orignial skin (for the Falklands), 5 new skins have been created, thanks to Sundowner finding the templates!
They are:
French Army (overall green)
Desert (overal tan with Generic nation tag)
Desert 2 Tone (green/tan, with Generic nation tag)
Green (overall, with Generic nation tag)
Euro Camo (with Generic nation tag)
All skins are in jpg format.
Decal positions have been plotted , so when selecting a service, the appropriate insignia will appear. Those skins with the 'generic' tag will show the correct insignia, and can be used as the base to build specific nations.
On the subject of decals, no individual numbers are supplied, nor their positions plotted. But that should be fairly easy, given 'known' positions.
As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. The original release readme is also included, for historical purposes

Douglas AC-47 "Spooky" Gunship for SF2 - Ver.2
By Wrench
Douglas AC-47 "Spooky" Gunship -Version 2.0
= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, Plus Expansion Pak 1 =
*Designed with SF2:V in mind*
*Note: You =MUST= have Expansion Pak 1 to access the C-47 lods. If you don't have it, do =NOT= download this mod, as you'll be unable to use it*
MANY modifications to the stock C-47 Skytrain, create the AC-47 "Spooky" gunship for your SouthEast Asian flying enjoyment.
A new skin, using my Home-Grown Template , and enhancements by paulopanz, give it a passble SEA 3-Tone. All markings are decals, and are 100% historically correct for the 3rd SOS. Markings for 18 aircraft are included, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
The miniguns are supplied as a weapon, but exist 'virtually' in the aircraft body (no physical lod). "Parachute" illuminator flares are also supplied for those pesky night interdiction missions.
An SF2 version of my original 'boxart' hangar screen is included.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!
Also, PLEASE read the "Notes" section -- vital information in there that might assist you in playing this aircraft (pylon turns are a PAIN!!).

American SouthWest - Ver 2.0
By Wrench
American SouthWest Terrain, Version 2.0 for SF/WoE/ WoV and probably WoI, FE and SF2
This is a complete rebuild of the terrain originaly released in Feb 2008. It has been completely retiled, and has had a MAJOR upgrade in the targetization. It is designed to COMPLETELY replace that original version. It has been fully updated to use in the post-patch world.
This semi-fictional terrain represents Southern Texas and part of Northeastern Mexico (Tampilas/Monterrey) region, along with part of the western Gulf of Mexico. I use the term 'semi-fictional', as for the most part, the cities and airfields are relatively close to their real life locations, but some fictional target areas have been added for playability. I've designed this to be used in the alternative world of the "Global Sedition" vs the "North American Alliance"; it is, however, usable in any era from 1940-2040, with minor changes in the targets and types inis.
This is a COMPLETE package, with everything needed to just unzip, install, and fly over. All the tiles are included, including several (ie: MOST) repainted to a more 'lush' version. All new TODs have been created, so you'll see lots of trees and small buildings, including the 'skyscrapers' from Polak's city tod. Almost all the original Desert tiles have been repainted to more closely represent the semi-tropical/minimally arid region of the Texas Gulf Coast. Several rivers have been added, and they, for the most part, follow their Real Life courses across the region. The "look" of the terrain should be something between the stock 'Desert' and the overly green of say, Deuces Euro Repaint and/or the GermanyCE terrain. In other words, semi-arid, but with plenty of growing things.
It is reccomended (read: REQUIRED) that you have Pasko's SAMs and Vehicles Pak installed in your GroundObject folder; either or both the Desert or Euro skinned vehicles, plus any additional vehicles such as Kesselbrut's ZIL truck pak, Infantry paks, Moonjumper's fix for the BM-14-16 (adds working Kytusha rockets) and any other SAMS or AAA, vehicles or whatever strikes your fancy. With such an 'open ended' time frame for use, any and all GroundObjects should be available for use.
It has been tested in SF, WoE and WoV, post 9/08 & 10/08 patch levels.. It should work in FE & WoI (also post Expansion Pak and Post Patch) with the correct cat pointer -- this has NOT been tested, however. It should also work in SF2, as long as you adjust the cat pointer lines in the main ini. Pre-patch users may have some issues due to the new way the Game Engine reads/creates height field measurments. Enough data exists in the CA forums for find the anwsers on how to fix it, if needed.
As you've all come to expect, there's a HIGHLY detailed readme with all the "data and materials" necessary to get you up and running. I'd suggest reading it first, after unzipping to a temp folder somewhere
Happy Landings!
