    1. LOTR RNZAF Kfir C.16 "Raiona"

      This mod creates a fully new aircraft, an EXTENSIVELY upgraded Kfir "C16" as might be used by the RNZAF.
       
      It =REQUIRES= a Full-4 Merged install, or at the very least, SF2:I and SF2:V for the various and sundry bits used herein. If you do NOT have the minimum required game installs, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD, as you won't be able to use it.
       
      3 new skins, (partly redrawn from stock) and their attendant decals are included. No aircraft or cockpit parts (lods, bmps/tga/jpg) are included, as they use all 'internal' bits pulled from the various game cat files (in a similiar fashion as the Panama Mirage IIIPN).
       
      The 3 skins "represent" some of the aspects of the "Forces of Good" from the LOTR series:
       
      Rohan1 = Shieldmaidens (a squadron of mostly female pilots!!!)
      Rohan2 = Riders of Rohan
      Gondor = Stewards of Gondor
       
      Each with a different fin-flash.
       
      Modifications to the base model include (but not limited to), addition of landing lights, correcting the positions of the taillights, activating the canopy via an manual animation key (use Shift/0 to open and close), massive upgrading of the avionics suite (included new jammers and CM dispensers). Other mods include the addition of a laser designator for prescision strike, new A-A & A-G radars, and many other 'hidden' changes.
       
      NOTE: most, if not all, of the weapons used are STOCK. With possibly 2 exceptions, and they're not presently used.
       
      As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

      A Just for fun Pure Fantasy Mod (a What If... that's beyond belief)


      Yet another in the Series of "Things That Prove The Wrench Is Off His Meds"...
       
      This is, basically, a redecalling of the stock MiG-21MF and MiG-23MF, but with new insignia decals for the the main Antoganists ™ from "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy ©.
       
      We have:
       
      MiG-21MF "Isengard", for Saruman's forces *
      MiG-23MF "Morder", for Sauron's forces
       
      (*=how an Urik-hai is gonna fit in that little cockpit is beyond my understanding! Or if Sauron's Orcs are smart enough to fly a Flogger...)
       
      This mod also assumes that you've converted the AI MiGs into Player-Flyable units. If not, consult the SF/SF2 Knowledge Bases, and download Ordway's MiG cockpits.
       
      For those truely bent, these decals can easily be (re)used on any aircraft that suits your fancy, and where insignia decal positions are known. Just check the relevant aircraft's decals ini for positionings.

    3. During the 1961 Bay of Pigs Invasion VA-34 A-4B Skyhaks from the USS Essex flew a CAP/ escort mission with the intention of protecting the Rebal A-26 Invaders but due to a timing cock up were an hour late and missed engaging the Cuban T-33A fighters.  They also flew multiple reconnaissance flights over the invasion beach throughout the incident. Due to President Kennedy insisting that there be no proof of US involvement the Skyhawks had their USN markings painted over. There are no photos of these aircraft and very few of VA-34 during that time period so I have based these skins off the only photo I can find specifically of VA-34 during the Bay of Pigs Invasion as well as one from later that year. These photos are of aircraft that did not have their markings painted over however. There is an alternative skin based on a drawing Statos posted which I think makes a way cooler looking Aircraft but is unlikely to be historically accurate.

      If you do create a Bay of Pigs USN A-4B v FAR T-33A remember the A-4B could not carry the AIM-9 at this point and Skyhawks operating over Cuba just had two wing drop tanks plus thier 20mm cannons. Change the Aircraft role from 'attack' to 'fighter' in the A-4B_data.ini file if you want better AI performance from your wingmen.

    4. As radar technology developed, a new Meteor night fighter
      was developed to use the improved US-built APS-21 system.
      The NF.12 first flew on 21 April 1953. It was similar to
      the NF 11 but had a nose section 17 inches (43 cm) longer;
      the fin was enlarged to compensate for the greater keel area
      of the enlarged nose and to counter the airframe reaction to
      the "wig-wag" scan of the radar which affected the gunsighting,
      an anti-tramp motor operating on the rudder was fitted midway
      up the front leading edge of the fin.
      The NF.12 also had the new Rolls-Royce Derwent 9 engines and
      the wings were reinforced to handle the new engine.
      Deliveries of the NF.12 started in 1953, with the type entering
      squadron service in early 1954, equipping seven squadrons
      (Nos 85, 25, 152, 46, 72, 153 and 64); the aircraft was replaced
      over 1958–1959.

    5. Reworked pack of F-101B/F VooDoo.
      Generally old good VooDoo in new dresses.
      There are some small changes in data.ini files mostly in weapon stations section - so Backup your original file. You might not like it.
      Pack contains three versions - In reality, IR sensor was applied to different airframes different block build - not really possible to cover in this game engine limits. To make it easier in this game it will be. This is mostly to cover in some right way decals I've made and units.
      VooDoo '59 without IR sensor - block build 65-96.
      VooDoo '65 with IR sensor  - block build - 100-120.
      VooDoo '69 ANG - same as 65 - just different set of skins.  (I have an additional nation in my install: USA Air National Guard - that's why I have it as a separate model - but in this pack, it is set as USAF bird).
      All new skins in 3072x3072 resolution. New bump maps and specular maps. also in 3072.. plus more than 1000 decals so the set is again huge after unpacking.
      Pack contains 17 skins for Air Defense Command - all squadrons that ever used F-101B (from different time periods to cover years of usage).
      and 7 skin sets for Air National Guard from different time periods. 
      All new decals consisting 451 serial numbers for blocks 65-120. Plus some buzz numbers decals - not all -  as Buzzes disappeared in mid 60's.
      Serial numbers cover B and F models. 

      Backup your original F-101 Folders. Also Decals!

      Some time ago (long ago) I started to use specific AIR-2 Genie for Voodoo - to accommodate it in weapons bay it is moded as specific stationcode=AIM4 - so to appear this Genie in a game you have to copy weapon AIR-2_Genie_101 also. Genie has new skin.

    6. This is extra pack of special version of C-130 Hercules used by US Navy DC-130A.
      Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) also pledged allegiance to the Queen and Country - required.
      Install:
      Copy paste specific folders into a correct destination.
      Fake pilot is required to run this mod. 
      Pack contains all required models and it is based on Dels great new C-130 Pack + update available here on Combat Ace.

      So all serial numbers are historically correct. 
      National and squadron markings as always in my case are painted on skins.
      As weapons BAQM-34 - is EOGR missile - can be anything it will not work as drone anyway).
      Pylons are set as TLR - to accommodate EOGR  -but somehow there is an option to load one drone - do not use it. as it will appear somewhere in the middle of aircraft.
      Note:
      In this pack (unlike original Dels C-130) JATO is activated by vector thrust control (similar as in latest Tu-22 pack)
      If you have SEA version of DC-130A - probably you will need to rename pylons:
      DC-130_PylonInn
      DC-130_PylonInnBW
      DC-130_PylonOut
      to avoid conflicts with pylons of SEA versions - which have different colors.

      Refueling drogue is deployed at speed near 120kts. (to simulate refueling helicopters too.)
      If you have SEA version of HC-130P - probably you will need to rename fake pilot for '66 version to have correct colors of fake pilot mods.
