This mod extends the in game life of the F-105 to match the real 1981 through 1984 retirements. It
features skins for the early 70's, late 70's, early 80's and a special skin featuring the noseart of the
149th TFS of the Virginia ANG. The markings are as accurate as I can find through several days of searching
the web for photos of the listed units.
- Required: You will need SF2, SF2 Europe or SF2 Vietnam for the stock F-105D_66.
- Included: Skins for 4 ANG and 3 AFRES F-105 operators. I have not included the Georgia ANG as that is
represented in the F-105G mod.
Also Included is an F-105F_66 aircraft. While the majority of F's were
used as Weasels, conversion and proficiency traning still had to take place. Every Thud fighter squadron
had at least 1 F on the books.
Data.ini's have been edited also to reflect proper service years.
- Credits: The Wrench, for his rerelease of ArmourDave's F-105F pack, as well as a few parts of TGAs that I
used from his F-100D ANG skinpack. He even answered a stupid question by yours truly.
TK, for the stock Thuds and ability to mod this game we call SF2.
and me? well i just

http://combatace.com/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/
*********************************
For WoX/SFP1 series, drop the NZ folder into your Terrain folder in your main game install.
Use the NZ_DATA.INI file in the "Use in WoX" folder.

Baltika's musings:
Ironically, this is one of the first terrain projects I started, but has taken a very long time to reach this stage. Other things have taken priority at various times, but I always came back to this. I confess it has been sitting on my hard drive for some time. I have reviewed various WIPs and decided that, given the development lead in time for terrain projects is so long, it is better to release such projects as they reach advanced beta stage.
Targetisation is rather "cut & paste" for now. I will update the targets.ini as and when time permits. Meantime, all tiling work is finished, all runways plotted and flattened, and all target areas set. All mission types are activated for Red and Blue flyable forces.
Comments, feedback, bug reports and Single Malt Whisky to Baltika ;-)
Real life purists may wish to note that there are various remnants of the Third Age crumbling in the mountains - although some of them still have bite, so fly carefully!
Slàinte mhòr!

Fokker T.V
The Fokker T.V was a twin-engine bomber, described as an "aerial cruiser",built by Fokker for the Netherlands Air Force.
It was modern for its time, but by the German invasion of 1940, it was outclassed by the airplanes of the Luftwaffe. Nevertheless, the T.V was used with some success against the German onslaught.

MBD2-67U
The most widely used soviet multiple bomb rack (Mnogozamkoviy Balochniy Derzhatel) for 50-120kg sized free fall bombs. On many planes this was the only type of rack used.
Plane types: MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-27, MiG-29, Yak-38, Su-17, Su-25, Su-24 and on helicopters Mi-8, Mi-24 and Ka-25
A high detail replacement for older MBD2 racks. There are two types included, regular MBD2 and the MBD2_SPEC variant with StationSpecific value set, to exclude other types of rack from a weapon station.
I have made no low detail version, but if there is a need, I can make one.

Fokker G1
The Fokker G.I was a Dutch heavy twin-engined fighter plane comparable in size and role to the German Messerschmitt Bf 110 and the British Mosquito. Although in production prior to World War II,
its combat introduction came at a time when the Netherlands was overrun. The few G.1s that were mustered into service were able to score some victories, but ultimately the aircraft was withdrawn from operations,
and the remainder of the production run was taken over by the Luftwaffe as trainers.

The Yak-23 was developed as a simple lightweight jet fighter, on Yakovlev's own initiative.
It was a development of the earlier Yak-15 and Yak-17 fighters, retaining their non-conventional layout with a jet engine in the fuselage nose and exhaust under the cockpit, but the construction was all new.
Its wings were derived from the Yak-19.
The Yak-23 used a Soviet copy of the British Rolls-Royce Derwent V turbojet engine, produced as the Klimov RD-500. It first flew on July 8, 1947.
After successful flights, it underwent state trials in 1948 and was accepted for series production.
It was evaluated as highly maneuverable, with a good acceleration and take-off and climb capabilities thanks to high thrust-to-weight ratio.
Faults were poor directional stability at speeds around Mach 0.86 and lack of cockpit pressurization.
Despite being one of the best straight-wing jet fighters, it was inferior to new swept-wing designs.
