  1. F-104S ASA M 4° Stormo, 20 °Gruppo

In mid '90s Italian Air force abandoned the traditional NATO tactical camouflage for the air superiority gray, now in use as a standard paint scheme. ASA M planes were intended to be pure interceptors and air defence fighters.

The squadron insignia is the Prancing Horse used by WWI ace Francesco Baracca and it's named after Amedeo, 3rd Duke of Aosta, commander of the Italian Forces in East Africa, during WWII. The Gruppo insignia is a lion with the motto "Unus sed leo" (one, but a lion). In '99 it operated CAP mission during Operation Allied Force.

This skin is for the F-104S-ASA M mod available on Combat Ace and you'll need both JET-Z S/ASA mod available on his site (http://www.12packproductions.com/JetZ/index.html) and the original F-104G by Third Wire.

Installation instruction in the readme.txt included.

  2. F-104S ASA M 37° Stormo, 18° Gruppo
In mid '90s Italian Air force abandoned the traditional NATO tactical camouflage for the air superiority gray, now in use as a standard paint scheme. ASA M planes were intended to be pure interceptors and air defence fighters.

The squadron insignia is a stork delivering its "load" and it's named after Cesare Toschi, Medaglia d'Oro al Valor Militare recipient, for his actions over Malta during WWII. The Gruppo motto is "Ocio che te copo" (watch it or I kill you). In '99 it operated CAP mission over the Balcans during Operation Allied Force.

  3. Here is a skin pack depicting every F-100D flown by French squadron 1/11 Roussillon after 1966. Every aircraft has correct serial numbers and fuselage code. The belly of the aircraft, as well as the wings and tail was covered with a special coat to prevent corrosion, that's why the color is not exactly the same as the back of the plane.

Templae by Sony Tuckson, internals and pylons by Sundowner.

  4. 6° Stormo A. Fusco, 154° Gruppo - 1970s
This skin depicts the tipical italian starfighter paint scheme used in the 70s, in NATO tactical camouflage with large national markings and big white numbers.
The Squadron was disbanded after the armistice in 1943 and reformed in 1952 as a fighter-bombers squadron, the insignia is the famous Red Devil and it's named after Alfredo Fusco, ace and Medaglia d'Oro al Valore recipient, shot down during WWII over Albania.

In 1965 154° Gruppo was awarded the "NATO flying safety" award, totaling 5000 hrs without any accident. Quite remarkable, since they were flying the dreaded Zipper!

This skin is for the original Third Wire F-104G model only. Installation instruction in the readme.txt included.
