Anyways, this bird is off the wall awesome! Took on 16 Flankers and wiped their burners clean. So, I guess the only thing I would upload is the Loadout.ini, which explains where each loadout is located at and what can be loaded on it. Great job guys! I really like this jet.

Really GREAT !!! But as I am a "shadow freak", is there any chance that the .shd file already included will show up? It seems that it is also linked correctly via the aircraft.ini but still not showing up!? :dntknw:

Thanks for the SuperBug!

I've noticed that the a/c skin seems to have some missing tiles on the fuselage between the tails.

I don't have a way to post a screeshot, sorry.

Anyone else have this?

You can use photobucket.com or you should be able to attach a file right to your post.

Yes, I have this also. But after reviewing some books on that, I figured out that there is "something", at least on some pictures I saw. Maybe not that "strong", but seems that between the tails there is some area with special cover or paint (or no paint, of course).

Many fighters have bare metal on the top and bottom of the fuselage where the afterburners are. That's because temps get so high there that paint would blister and peel off. The F-15 is one, I think the Flanker is another. Remember the engines are in the middle of the plane, not sitting right in the tail, so the exhaust has a long tube to pass thru before it reaches the nozzles and that air is HOT.

Those dark areas between the tails are supposed to be bare metal areas. I found a pic of #103 from VFA-103 which clearly shows the area to not be painted. However, other pics from other squadrons show the same area is painted.

I've been having a blast with this bird the last 2 days! I've been waiting for this one for a long time. Thank you!

Hey I guess I gotta get a stick and WOI sent to me, but is it possible to angle the pylons as they should be and asymmetric loads for the main wing pylons?

Posted

You should be able to set up assymetrical loading fairly easily by editing the DATA.ini

Looks like the DS team have got one of the main players for a sequel OIF campaign. After DS has been released of course.
