Has anyone noticed that with every new patch, it takes longer and longer to install? Still sitting waiting for it to finish.

CC has "Fly as mercenary" option which allows you to pick starting cash. Interestingly service markings setting seems to be independent of mercs.

not much noticeable for me as i dont have DLC11 (yes i know blashemy!) but i reconfigured my Phantom mod for the new data ini's and squadron list. Japanese SQNs in AUG11, Swedish in SEP11. new campaign oppurtunities in Dhimar? with two turns of updating my personal mod in the last 3 days i think i know about a tenth the frustration you guys on say NATO Fighters experience!!!!!!!!!!!

btw anyone try out flyable F-84Fs or F-104Gs since the patch?

few small things I noticed:

when you scratch the ground with your wingtips or belly there's now that cool scary stressed metal sound...:good: belly landing still results in KIA, even on runway, tested few times with Skyhawk with FTs still under wings (was designed to land with them...)

is it me, or now as of this patch, heavily damaged planes occasionaly release their landing gear as in hydraulics failure..? Ciffs of Dover style? I think I saw burning empty Migs with their gear lowered few time

edit:

one insect that bugs me: ALLWAYS after finishing campaign mission or single one when I click exit to return to main menu (from the campaign or single mission screen) I have SF2 lockup, only recoverable by ALT-TABbing and shutting process via task manager :dntknw:

Horrible grinding scrape noise was introduced on a previous patch (not too far back though meaning you are a good pilot).

I think TK is :ninja: coding the AI. They get better at keeping low and, hell, now you want your best guys leading the elements. Losing 2-1 might mean losing all control over 2-2, -3, -4.

i rebooted my whole system last weekend gettin ready for another trip overseas and went ahead and reloaded the mods that i dont personally tinker with much fresh as well. in my EXP2 mod folder i had deleted the Aircraft folder for some reason and just loaded the Aircraft folder from the F-84G mod into the Objects folder. F-84E and F-84G were the only aircraft in there! normally i would fly one mission and all would be back in. post Sep11 tho no dice. experimenting i copied over the stock birds from the 50's timeframe from another install and they showed but still no other birds! as my EXP2 exe/install is my 40s to 50s install anyhow i am not complaining but i do find it very interesting! any input guys? also on same token German F-84Fs with cockpit only added using stock skins has no markings. but noticed it at midnight so went to bed before investigating.

...Hello, All.

Is it just me, or is anyone else with ATi cards getting CHOPPY framerates?

it starts out smooth as butter...then it slows down-speeds up-slows down

I had to revert to Aug 2011 because of that...
