+Piecemeal Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Piecemeal is that a Tu-16KS carrying KS-1 Kometa ASMs? Cause I need one of those, for my Indonesia campaign! They sure are. Modified it from a stock SF2NA Tu-16K-26 model and changed the loadouts on it. Will be releasing it soon.....
Gustav Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Realy nice Swiss Hunter, Ravenclaw ! French Beauties over Europe... Ciao ! 3
+WhiteBoySamurai Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 My wingman took a hit during a furball over Gothenburg. I looked over his plane and breathed a sigh of relief: No engine fire, no control surfaces damaged. What luck that nothing important was oooohhh that's not good. Thanks to Swedish engineering, he managed to land safely! It's the Volvo of the skies. ...Although after his plane came to a stop, it started listing to the right and sort of bouncing on the wingtip. And it didn't "despawn" like most landing AI aircraft (because it couldn't taxi?). The pilot just kept staring out the right side as if in disbelief. I love this series.
+Piecemeal Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 One great '60s song comes to mind while testing Operation "Quick Sand" on the upcoming Desert V.4 terrain: Hot town, Summer in the city.... Cool cat, lookin' for a kitty.... 1
PraetorH Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) Praetor, can't wait for your Phantoms. looks good! Thank you very much, although the skins are merely meant to be a stopgap. Only one fighter bomber wing to go! @ Wrench, looks like they made spooks for every country, quite cool stuff if you ask me! Btw, can someone identify the nation/unit on the lower right, between the Blue Angels-Spook and the Spaniard-Spook? I wish there was a high res version... Edited September 4, 2012 by PraetorH
Do335 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 (edited) how hard is it to bring down a bear? first sparrow shot is a lucky hit! usually that is enough, its ecm and chaffs should have spoofed the missile most of the time. however... only 1 of 2 propellers on one of the engines stopped spinning. i watched in disbelief as the bear did a huge split S from angel 28 to 4 trying to evade and continued flying 2nd sparrow shot was spoofed by its chaffs, not surprised! 3rd sparrow shot, a hit right at the fuselage... NO effect whatsoevah except some bullet holes!!! finally brought it down with a long strafe of 20mm filled with rage, from wingtip to wingtip rather amazing damage modelling Edited September 4, 2012 by Do335
PraetorH Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 how hard is it to bring down a bear? Try with sidewinders, that's hard. The one that got away: 1
+gerwin Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 New IcelandNA TFD terrain package is up. By default it now goes with a 50%-50% blend of my original tiles and stary's tiles. The Terrain now also works on any SF1 or SF2 game other then SF2NA.
Do335 Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 everything seemed meaningless.... but heck i'm going in for gunzzzz
+Stary Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 lovely shot malibu! Julhelm's beauties over revised new Taiwan tileset in the making, because I love Gepard's map 6
PraetorH Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 It's not entirely accurate (the "R" is not shaped correctly, the paint on the aft section is slightly off etc.), but it gives a nice impression imho: 4
