@pappychksixLove the look of the Thud....it would look good in the SEA Camo Scheme with 184th TFTG Markings! :lol:

 

But for now, I'll focus on the Hun....

"Hud'n-Hud'n"  For those who don't know the story.
The expression means nothing. The most commonly told version to explain the origin of the term, is that it originated during the Vietnam War. Probably on the first cruise of VF-194, when a drunken VF-194 pilot said that the mopeds they used to get to their aircrafts, to they sounded like... "hud'n-hud'n". The joke became the squadron's battle cry for the remainder of the war. Some F-8s had this motto painted on the center of their wings. This was the case with Commander Billy Phillips F-8E. 
This F-8 was shot down by SAMs on a subsequent tour with new painting and serial number (402)NM. Unfortunately, the pilot Lt(jg) Robert Charles McMahan was unable to eject and died.
