A-4C from VA-12 Flying Ubangis in 1970. The last A-4C in Vietnam (together with the ones from VA-172 on the same Carrier).

VVS Mig-23M found a target flying at high altitude

and fired a single AA-7A Apex missile. The enemy F-4E tries to evade the missile but at high altitude its maneuverability is limited...

As the humanitarian crisis in Ethiopia worsens, Djibouti becomes one of the main gateway hubs for international aid into the region. Transport aircraft of all shapes and sizes enter the pattern to bring in much needed supplies.....

It's paperwork says it's a charity charter flight bringing in medical aid from Bahrain, but if so why does it taxi over to an isolated area of the military part of the airport on landing before proceeding to the civilian area to offload it's cargo?

Ah the Viggie...I remember back in the old SFP1 days having that thing loaded with A2A missiles  and swatting many MiGs.
