A-6 Intruder Cutaway - Search Images (bing.com)

Grumman A-6 Intruder Collection (archive.org)

USA - AN/AVQ-10 Pave Knife : Targeting and Navigation Pods (armedconflicts.com)

The Ford Aerospace AN/AVQ-10 Pave Knife was an early targeting pod developed by the USAF and US Navy to designate and guide laser-guided bombs. Pave Knife was developed in 1969 to replace the original, essentially improvised Airborne Laser Designator (ALD)and TRIM pod (see A-6 Intruder). ALD was not a pod, but a hand-held laser operated by the weapon systems officer to mark targets for Paveway laser-guided bombs. Pave Knife was a roughly banana-shaped external pod, weighing about 550 kg (1,200 lbs)

a lot of the thingies/differences are in small details, like tail hook doors/or no doors, intake scoops, front gear doors, wing fences, chaff dispensers, etc etc. I will search over the weekend for what I have.

A good source is 'Intruder. the operational history of Grumman's A-6' published by Shiffer.

Also, Tailhooktopics blog is a reliable source...https://tailspintopics.blogspot.com/2015/09/grumman-6a-vs-6e-intruder.html -  must read as many 3d models are based on late A-6..

id say ODS30AE would be the benchmark for that. if your system can handle that, it should handle the new toys coming out.

In the ODS installation, the optimization did on it runs fine, but when you try to play the same ODS Campaign/Objetcs applied in the NA for example, works like just 30% of the time (That said, if we raise the standard of mods to be applied to a standard North Atlantic installation, won't we suffer from the same problem?).

I have a nice PC and gpu, who runs a lot of modern games in high settings, but sometimes I suffer from crashes and blue screens due to objects added to them.
New very detailed aircraft, skins with a lot of resolution and things like that end up affecting memory management and during loading the game simply breaks.
When I check the error log, it points to DLLs like "ViewManager.dll", or "GraphicsEngineDX10.dll".

If the game were in 64-bit, it would be perfect (but we know that will only happen in our dreams), so I believe that we bring all the game to a "new era", with 4k textures, objects full of polygons and things considered common today, we will encounter these aforementioned problems.

I hope I'm wrong, but I say based on the experience I have playing the game for over a decade almost every day...

Thank you gentlemen for your comments. :friends:

I want to get your feedback regarding one subject sometimes the LOD (using the LODviewer) doesn't show the textures.  what do I need to do so the texture will load using the LOD vires? for example, in these two models, one shows the textures and the other doesn't. do I need to add something to the INI fil?
