Well, ships were modernized many times and sometimes datas I've are not corresponding with photos ;-)

Can somebody identify this radar ? SPS-39 ???

I've on list SPS-48, but it's true for ships after some upgrade . This is SPS-48 ...

Ok, forget it, I've found it ..

Here's an idea - scale it to 27' long, paint it yellow, and attach it to the underside of a B-17.  Then, add three parachute packs to the aerial lifeboat, some fancy stripes and service lettering to the aircraft and you have a U.S.C.G. PB-1G :

I built on 'long ago, but never released it (iirc). never finished the serial decals and such. Has some misaligned meshs, and decal bleeds too. Also has teh under belly radome, but that may be removable...

might have to revisit it and see...

She starts looking good .Long way to the end ofc .... Carriers are really annoying with files and testing ...

I think sometimes that stuff like baked shadows on planes and the like really looks bad, as it makes no sense when you spend all that money on creating shadows to render anyway. I will say that it looks nice on this model though, and should look good in-game.

Cause I don't use baking to make real shadows, but more to do some dirt effect or color difference of paint :smile:.
