F-5E For Strike Fighters 2 "Early versions pack" Version History: v.1.0: First public release. Early versions without later refinements like RWR. DESCRIPTION: This addon can thank its release to the work of two talented individuals, FastCargo and BPao. FastCargo created the F-5F two seaters and BPao was the man behind the original Mirage Factory F-5E model. I was fortunate enough to get permission to work on these source models, with the goals of marrying the F-5E front section to the F-5F engine and wings which were quite a lot more detailed. It was supposed to be a quick project. One year later: I have completely reworked the F-5E nose, added a lot of stuff on the original fuselage and detailed both original templates to have higher detail textures. Meanwhile Sophocles graciously allowed me to use his superb F-5A cockpit as a basis to build my F-5E cockpit, in which I have also used parts based on FastCargos unfinished T-38 cockpit. Included is two versions of the earlier production F-5E: a basic version dubbed '72 and an export specific version with a larger vertical stabilizator and spine antenna. This version is dubbed '74L (L for large vertical stablizator). Happy flying! Mats "Centurion" Liljeroos FEATURES: SF2 standard external model 2048^2 textures with normal maps Realistic cockpit with avionics courtesy of Crusader FM from original MirageFactory F-5E which flies really good. OPERATORS COVERED IN THIS PACK: USAF Agressor USN Agressor Brazil Honduras Chile Marocco IRIAF Jordania South Korea Saudi Arabia Thailand South Vietnam North Vietnam (captured from VNAF) Ethiopia Kenya Indonesia Tunisia CREDITS: Bpao and Mirage Factory crew: Orginal F-5E model and templates FastCargo for original F-5F model EricJ and pappychecksix for original F-5F templates and textures Sophocles for his superb cockpit work. Every switch is a work of art. Crusader for his ini file magic, really makes the cockpit and plane come alive. Paulo for his mammoth decaling work which he allowed me to use. and even helped me by reworking some of it. Me for cobbling all this together (=texturing and modeling work) The rest of the Combat Ace community. Without you guys I would never have bothered to make it this far. INSTALATTION: Extract into mod folder of choice. This by and large replaces the old F-5E by TMF, so you can go ahead and delete the F-5E aircraft folder if you have it installed. NOTE: The _74L version references the _72 versions cockpit folder, so if you aim to use the 74L standalone in some installation, copy the cockpit folder and F-5E_72_cockpit.ini file from the _72 folder to the _74L folder. Overwrite. Stay tuned for more Tigers! This falls under the Combatace Freeware License Agreement. -

Built as a successor to the PBM Mariner, it had better engines, an improved hull, and a single vertical fin tail. The P5M-1 was followed by 116 P5M-2 planes. These had a T-tail to put the tail surfaces out of the spray, an AN/ASQ-8 MAD boom at the rear of the tail-tip, no tail guns (the gun position replaced by he antenna for the AN/APN-122 Doppler Navigation Set), better crew accommodation, and an improved bow to reduce spray during takeoff and landing. WHAT'S IN: - 30 Skins (27 USN; 1 USCG; 2 MN) - decals / serial historical numbers by Squadron - loadout.tga image CREDITS: - A-TEAM original model - pappychksix original skins - paulopanz edited & new skins; decals, loadout.tga. ini edits TO INSTALL: - (*) you need P5M-R0c.lod from original A-TEAM Beta package or if you use the P5M-R1.lod from modern planes section you have to change P5M.ini like this: [LOD001] Filename=P5M-R1.LOD Distance=100 [LOD002] Filename=P5M-R1.LOD Distance=250 [LOD003] Filename=P5M-R1.LOD Distance=500 [LOD004] Filename=P5M-R1.LOD Distance=2000 [LOD005] Filename=P5M-R1.LOD Distance=15000 - put it inside AIRCRAFT/P5M folder - put all the new package in your SF-2 folder NOTES: I made this pack because I love this plane and hate texture painted serial numbers. The model I used is a beta and has some easy to fix mapping bugs (I could show), that I tried to mask as better I can, because as many others - I fear - it'll not be ever fixed. The realise lod has the same problems (unfixed bugs) as the beta so you can use both. Enjoy @ paulopanz -

FIRST THING. You will need to have the Essex CV LOD. from Rising Sun over at the Yankee Air Pirates site. This skin and future skins I plan to release will not work with out it. =============================================== TO INSTALL: unzip to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere else that's easy to find In the Essex folder, located in the GroundObject folder, make a copy of the CV9 skin folder and rename it CV9 M32 3A. Then, simply, copy/paste the provided Essex_Camo folder into you new CV9 skin folder. You'll probably be asked "OVERWRITE?", just say Yes. That's it. ---------------------------------------------- Notes: This is the measure 32/3A pattern applied to the following Essex class carriers, Intrepid, Franklin and Handcock. The Colors used were Light Gray 5-L, Ocean Gray 5-0 and Dull Black 82 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: Not sure who but thank you this great ship. Sources: Rising Sun from YAP. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have any problems, questions, comments, I can be reached thruogh combat ace forums or PM me at The Warrior. Art -------------------------------------------- Legal BS: This is freeware;(That means you can't make someone pay for it) it CAN be distrubuted if the original readmes and all other pieces of the package remain intact. Remember to add the names of all contributors, modders, suppliers, ect. ------------------------------------------- About the skin. This is a very rough and first attempt at doing skins for ships for me.If you can and want to improve them and add more detail, please do. I have no problem with any one doing that. -

Orion Multipurpose Crew Vehicle and variants: _________________________________________ Hi there Combatace community! As you may already know, this Monday (with some luck) the mission ARTEMIS one is going to lift-off setting the path for future manned missions to the Moon, something that as engineer and space nerd I am very excited about. To celebrate this milestone and since I am finding myself without time to continue 3D modelling space gear for the Moon mods, I have decided to upload my UNFINISHED models so you can enjoy them! That includes: - Aircrafts (or should I say spacecrafts) Orion MPCV: Your normal Orion Multipurpose Crew Vehicle, with some "landing gear" I was trying to design because my experiments with vertical take-off were to this point very unsuccessful... but appart from that and two floating invisible pilons for IR missiles, it should look like the Orion that will take off in a few days! Orion MPCV-ICPS: That is a bigger Orion which includes a variation of the "Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage", which in reality is the upper stage of the SLS that will insert the spacecraft into a translunar orbit from Earth. I modelled it here as a longer range Orion since the ICPS module are substantially two giant propellant tanks (big one LH2 and smaller one LOX). Also I have equipped it with four rocket engines which will help compensating the much heavier fuel tanks (I tried to tweak the engines parameters to make it look a little bit more like a rocket engine instead of an airbreathing one, so fuel consumption has become super high hahaha) F-40A Apollo Starfighter: The beginning of the Spacefighters mod, a modified Orion MPCV-ICPS in which the main body of the ICPS module has been modified to carry weaponry becoming a propulsion and warmodule. It includes to arms with a pair of space adapted cannons and pylons for eight SIM-9A the first vacuum rated version of the AIM-9 with reactive thrust control for maneuvering. This is definetely not how I want it to look like but newer models are on the long To Do List. - AAA test beds: In order to become a full Space warfare mod, ground objects have to be implemented, unfortunately appart from static turrets and modified rovers sketches I have not been able to make 3D models, that is why I borrowed randomly GKABS M163 PIVADS models in order to have AAA with good targeting for the following systems: Laser AAA: In space, one of the biggest challenges is thermal control of the spacecraft, and since there is no atmosphere to dissipate beams, a laser could potentially become an enemy for sneaky spacecrafts that ventures into restricted territory. That is why a small low power version of Laser AAA is intended to be used in the early stages of the mods conflict. Railgun: An electromagnetically accelerated projectile, with low fire rate but high velocities. It would have sense in the moment in which bigger and armoured spacecrafts appears in later stages of the conflict. - Weapons: 23mm MG-2040 Lunar Cannon 20mm M168 Lunar Vulcan 100KW XN1 Laser Weapon System (quick fact eventhough "small" 100kW is freaking difficult to generate on the Moon) 105mm Lunar Rail Gun SIM-9A Spacewinder - So what to expect from this release? As you will see, it lacks a lot of things we take for granted in this game: ground assets, targets to strike, actual Air-to-Ground and viceversa weaponry, spacecrafts from other nations. But as we all know, time is sometimes really hard to invest in these projects and real life easily takes over it. So at least you can have some dogfights between Orions and experiment this new environment. I personally enjoyed a lot the process of doing them and thinking how a Spacefighter mod would look like after seeing that a Moon map is actually possible (thank you Menrva!). So I hope you enjoy this despite of the clearly unfinished models and textures! - CREDITS TO: Menrva: For the amazing map in which all of this can be developed and for the nations creation with their logos and the skins for them in the Orion. ravenclaw_007: For the incredibly detailed AIM-9 model from which I based my own space version model. GKABS: For the M163 that I included for testing the different AAA systems. Combatace community: In general, for the support, suggestions, advice and the material that I have used but I am not able to track the creator. DISCLAIMER: As always this is a FREEWARE, the use of this content for commertial purposes is strictly FORBIDDEN. Ohhh and before I forget it, THERE ARE NO LANDING GEARS! hahahha All being said, kind regards. Nuni -

Timor, North Oceania (1950-2018) Terrain August 13th, 2018 (1st Release) by Menrva >For Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam, Recommended Full-5 Merged This is a complete remake of the Modern Darwin terrain made by Wrench. A better and more complete tileset has been added, improving the looks of Northern Australia with the introduction of desert and barren valleys. Various rivers and lakes have been hand-tiled and mimic Real World courses. Now the island of Timor has a lot of bases to take-off from. Numerous target areas, such as emergency airstrips and civilian airports, have been added in order to expand playability, targets of opportunity and year range. This terrain features a fresh new 250m resolution heightmap (instead of the stock 500m resolution), allowing for greater details and precision in elevation changes; overall it provides the whole terrain with a better look. The terrain spans from August 17, 1950 (when President Sukarno proclaimed a single unitary Republic of Indonesia) to December 31, 2018; it is designed for fictional clashes between ANZUS/SEATO forces (namely Australia and New Zealand) and a random pool of Red Side countries (namely Indonesia and China). Targets reflect Real World events as accurately as possible; for instance, some airfields will appear only after a certain year, according to historic changes. If you have SF2NA, naval fleets might spawn in the Timor Sea. Also, Off Map Airbases have been added and long range AI flights can be generated from them. All main targets have been placed accurately in their Real World locations. Ground Objects are not included. You can obtain the most needed from Wrench's original Modern Darwin terrain release. >Credits (in no particular order): -Wrench, for he had the idea of recreating such a scenario in the Strike Fighters world. -swambast, who provided me with invaluable help in tracking and fixing common and uncommon bugs. -gerwin, whose TFDtool has proved to be essential in today's terrain making. If the terrain is pretty accurate to RL it's also because of him. I included his very nice Airfield 7+8 Addon Pack, too. -mue, for the improved shaders he made, which I have included and reworked for the terrain, and for the tools he made for SF2 modding. -luk1978, for the waternormal bitmap he shared at the SF2 screenshots thread. Your mods are very interesting! -MigBuster, I have included some of his great hi-res textures for runways. -Stary, for the hi-res PTO tileset he made, which I have reworked and expanded. -Brain32, for the gorgeous VietnamSEA tileset repaint he made, from which I borrowed a few tiles. -Centurion-1, Spudknocker and tiopilotos, for the impressive tileset they made for the Angola terrain, from which I borrowed some tiles. -Gepard, for his great tutorials about terrain making, in the SF1 Knowledge Base at CombatACE. It's a gold mine! -krfrge, who has produced a tutorial for recreating SF2-like planning maps, which prompted me to work on templates and my own high quality planning maps. Thank you very much! -comrpnt, for his Approach and Airfield Lighting Pack mod packages for SF1 series, which I reworked and included. Because the original terrain was made and tweaked numerous times by Wrench, I included the ReadMe files from his original packages, to the end of giving proper credit to everyone involved directly or not. >Disclaimer: This is a freeware; yet it can be redistributed ONLY in other CombatACE mods/mod packages. Any changes to the terrain package's files and/or any copy-and-paste attempts of their contents are NOT authorized if you plan to release them in other mods. But permission might be granted to those who request it to me at CombatACE. This terrain may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions. -

SF2 WW2 IJN CVL Zuihio Class 12/26/2014 = For SF2 (Full5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) *This mod is set up with some SF2NA coding. Use in other envrionments is "at your own risk* This is a version of Hinchbrooks IJN Zuiho class light carrier. As some have found the original 1stGen version is "faulted", I hope this will be better for you all. Mind you, it's NOT fully converted, as the "parking slots" have not been plotted. Some of the muzzle positions for the 25mm AA batteries are not near the muzzles themselves. But this will give you an operational IJN light carrier. All the "needed" files for use in the SF2NA enviroment are included (inis, "collision lod", etc). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein -
