13 pointsYeah, this works. Did some minor upgrading, minor tweeks. I'll leave any of the major (non 3D) fixes to any/all of our naval engineers ... I just dropped it into the bay; as you can see, there's not port or naval facilities as of yet . Just wanted to make sure it showed in game

11 pointsThank you, my dear friends, for your kindness and support. I really appreciate it and I look forward to coming to my second home when I can, Combatace, to read your posts; they are so comforting and uplifting. Yes, indeed, it was, but it wasn't all chemotherapy; it was switching between chemotherapy and saline solution over 16 hours, from 5 PM to the following morning. I went to the bathroom more than 15 times—then I stopped counting! 😂 I feel about 75% recovered from chemotherapy, strength-wise. I look forward to the end of the treatment and, inshallah, the good news after the doctor's final visit in August. Take care, my dear friends, Mohamad

10 pointsI'd forgotten how much fun this bird was to fly. No missiles, no bombs, usually no one shooting at us: just making holes in the sky, and turning JP-4 into noise & pollution. Using the runway on the FWS school map presents an interesting takeoff challenge at the EOR. Wingman flirting with the trees... Just fun to fly...

10 pointsSmall progress report --- Cadiz, and the Bay of. San Fernando in the distance, and Puerto Real to the left. Unfortunately, there's not enough room (tile wise) to add Puerto de Santa Maria, which I'd really like to. Given the historical significance, as Columbus sailed from there. I'll try and figure something out. (and yes, I do know the penninsula is faaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrr to fat!!!)

9 pointsShort answer: No. It was designed for systems from 2002, it's first release. SF2 just changed a bit of coding for Win 7. Mostly graphical, with few "other changes" (there's an old thread around somewhere here, that explains most of the changes/upgrades.) My experience is no issues with Win 10 or now 11 on the new machine. Everything maxed out (the new machine) well over 100 fps. Of course, it is a desktop. I think we should consider ourselves VERY lucky the damn thing runs at all in 10 & 11; given the complete and utter lack of support from the manufacturer. If it weren't for the modders, it would have faded away.

9 pointsFinished my first chemotherapy session; it took sixteen hours to complete. I have also completed two radiotherapy sessions out of thirty. I feel tired and have lost my taste, a dry mouth, and an upset stomach. But hopefully, I will complete treatment without infections. I may not be around for a while, but when I can, I will update you, my dear friends. Take care, Mohamad

9 pointsWhat if the 42ECS, which provides USAF personnel to the USN growler squadrons, gained it's own aircraft and deployed to RAF Upper Heyford in homage to it's historic EF-111A deployment.. But of course, that's a what-if because RAF Upper Heyford closed in the early/mid 1990's for redevelopment, and the 42ECS instead became part of the 48FW at RAF Lakenheath... The squadron joined the other USAF Superhornets units based there, namely 493FS flying the F/A-18E, together with 492Fs and 494FS operating the 2-seat F/A-18F

8 pointsby working on my F-4E/G cockpits and try to improve them more and more i got some help from Pvince , so far i was using Avioncs60.dll for the avionics but Pvince suggested to use Avionics70.dll since the DSCG radar display is a digital display and Avionics70.dll would be more suited for it especially the VC display ( velocity closure ) in the upper right of the display would be only possible with the Avionics70.dll Pvince made all the changes and got the F-4E avionics70.dll cockpit working , so that is what we got now Search with radar range display Boresight with radar range display lock on with radar range display an VC display PPI with radar range display TISEO one problem is still remaining , the F-4E with DMAS / ARN-101 is using CCIP but with out a fall line , so if you select a bomb the gun-sight disappears from the HUD if you are close to the target the gun-sight com`s back up and you can attack your target normal view Bombs selected , gun-sight disappears close to target dont know if i should keep that CCIP or just use the normal gun sight

6 pointsSimply add an exception to the executable of TFDtool in the settings of your AV. This is not an issue of TFDtool, it is AV software that is cancer these days, anything triggers them if it's not a signed executable by paying third-party.

6 pointsHello everyone! It have been a while, It have been busy days for me. Got a chance to further work on the Mirage IIIs series. This time, I got to work on the excellent work of Wrench and The Mirage Factory. The following features of SF - CAP are implemented in Wrench / TMF Mirage III series: - Fixed the weapon loading, so certain ordinances no longer overlay with each other. For example, for outer wing, you can only select IRM or rocket pod / drop tank with rocket pod. - Implemented the CSF Type 97 sights for Mirage IIICs and IIIEs. - For Mirage IIIE that have RWR, the texture have been re-done in 512 x 512. Here is screenshot of Mirage IIIC (Wrench / TMF) Mirage IIIE (Wrench / TMF) NOTE: For every texture radar scope is made, there is always TW style too. I try to keep screenshot few as possible when posting here. There are so many of Mirage III add-on out there, I am gong through them and add the options for various author of Mirage III series mods, so you can enjoy SF - CAP in the Mirage IIIs. Eagle114th

6 pointsHi everyone, I'm new to CombatACE. I've been into flight simulators for a while, especially Strike Fighters 2 and Lock On. I'm here mainly to find some cool mods and learn more from experienced players. Thanks for having me!

5 pointsIn my experience texture size has helped optimize fps and running out of memory. As beautiful as 2k and 4K textures are 1536x1536 for aircraft and terrain textures seems to be the sweet spot. As is 768x768 for ordinance, pilots and ground objects. If you are playing campaigns in standalone installs like ODS, Vietnam Air and Ground War Expansion etc that have a lot of aircraft and ordinance in the air at one time this really seems to make a difference.

5 pointsF-4E Kurnass Israeli Airforce pack 3.3 uploaded and awaiting approval. 3.3: - AN/AXQ-14 (IDF) and AN/AWW-9 added. Appropriate loadouts and campaigns adjusted accordingly. - Missing GBU-15 added. - F-4E Kurnass now split into F-4E Kurnass and F-4E Kurnass (69) to better reflect the difference between the AN/APS-107 and the AN/APR-36 RWR in the first two batches delivered in 1969. - Nominal Israeli 20kt early nuclear bombs and effects added. Based on author and historian Tom Coopers research.

5 pointsMiG-21F-13M2 The MiG-21F-13M2 was an upgrade program made by East Germany and Czechoslovakia. The maiden flight was in 1978. It was developed to counter the F-16 and to bridge the time till MiG-29 arriving. The Czech were responsible to integrate leading edge flaps and two additional hardpoints on the wings. They also installed the R-25-300 engine, which had the same dry thrust as the older R-13-300, but the afterburner gave 69 kN and it had a special dogfight regime which gave enormous 97.1 kN thrust for 5 minutes. With this thrust the MiG-21F-13M2 accelerates faster as any other fighter plane in Europe. With the new designed wing and the strong engine the maneuverability of the plane was dramatically increased. The East Germans integrated a small but powerfull radar in the nose cone, which had a maximum detection range of 45 km and were able to detect a fighter size target at 22 km. They gave this bird the ability to carry a SPS-141 jamming pod. And they integrated the R-60 missile into the weapon system. In the late 1980th the missile R-73 became part of the weapon system. At the same time the plane was fitted with a helmet mounted sight for the pilot. Positive was: The plane was agile, nimble and highly maneuverable. It accelerated very fast and had a very good climb speed. Negative was: The plane had a short range and a short flight time. It was not able to use radar guided missiles.
