If that's the stock 3W EA-6 , they have NO markings, other than generic nationals and modex. TK never made decals for it, as it wasn't never meant to be player flyable (tm). If it's one of the aftermarket skins, start checking for a decal folder and subfolder (if needed) and the decals ini

Here's another one I came across, whilst looking for serials for Bostons and Beauforts (it may be an archive, as opposed to an active site) https://www.rafcommands.com/database/serials/

The Corsairs of No.73 Operational Training Unit
Wrench replied to Spinners's topic in Sci-Fi/Anime/What If Forum
wouldn't an OTU be using the Birdcage version, and leaving the newer models to front line units (that how the USN did it) -
external pods, iirc, -- hopefully someone else will chime in too -- got borked years ago. Best the just have them for eye candy, and build in the ECM suites to the aircraft's internal systems
-
Brother, his radar isn't even turned on. Elvis has left the building We're never going to see any upgrades/updates/patches/fixes for SF2 unless we do it ourselves.

and a Sukhoi superjet (737 size it looks like) along with the 707, 747, and AB310 (the sukhoi is at the top of the picture)

if they EWR / SAM Radars are hand placed into the _targets ini (ie: called a specific type) ARMs tend to go stupid. Also, sometimes they don't show on the RWR. If left alone, using 'generic' target tags (SAMRadar, SAMLauncher), things tend to work the way then should. It's a know issue for terraformers. Just another thing that got broke in one of the SF2 patches

Wrench replied to Wrench's topic in File Announcements

View File SF2 Grumman C-2A(R) Greyhound Pack by Coyote Aerospace SF2 Grumman C-2A(R) Greyhound Pack by Coyote Aerospace 4/19/2023 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 5 Merged Required*) This pack is the release of the C-2A Greyhound cargo/carrier-on-board delivery (COD) aircraft used by the US Navy. This mod represent the "C-2A(R) or "Reprocured" airframes as used from 1984 onwards. These are the 8-bladed prop versions. *This mod makes use of the stock 3W E-2C Hawkeye's destroyed model. SF2:NA is required to gain access to that lod. If you don't have NA, you may have to edit the data ini to use another destroyed model.* The aircraft is finished in standard USN Gull Grey/White. Serial number (BuNums) are 100% historly correct for this model, but should be considered generic in nature. 16 BuNums are provided, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. The templates for the skin are also supplied for other texture artists to use, and improve upon. Skins supplied in this package are: VRC-30 - original - 2009 scheme - 2015 scheme (various Dets) VRC-40 - 1999 scheme - 2015 scheme - 2018 scheme There are also some 'cargo pallets' as weapons, for loading in the cargo bay. (thanks to Cliff7600) As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! I'd also like to take this time to thank Cliff7600 for volunteering to fix some (most) of the issues I couldn't. He also supplies some very nice new skins!! *** Be advised, this model is being released in "As-Is" condition. As the model builder has retired, any issues not fixable via ini edits will remain as we have no access to the 3d MAX files *** Wrench Kevin Stein =edited for release 3/20/2023== Submitter Wrench Submitted 04/21/2023 Category Other

GREAT site!!! Been using them for YEARS!!! One of the best to run down individual serials for aircraft, and to which squadron it served in
-
while looking for some other pictures on the HD, I came across this. Don't know if you can use, but, here it is! model kit decals for some P-51D/K ANG unit or something
-
unfortunately, each 3-plane flight in the squadron has it's own color band, so must be Level-2 decals. Not biggie; Wildcats only wore the full color markings for about 6 months, before going to all-over NS gray in early 1941. That one we already got! but thanks!
-
Eric: have you checked ADFserials.com ??? they've got all the Aussie, NZ stuff
-
hhmmm???? what about the lettering? I'm almost at the decals-per-mesh limit (there's only engine cowling & fuselage, no tail excepting the vert fin) I assume I;ll have to make another set for the right side only?? EDIT: nope, that didn't work. oh well, we tried!!!
-
taking a closer look at the (flying) photo DA posted, we have ... wing commander - three stripes squadron commander - 2 stripes flight leader - 1 stripe stripes would be in squadron colors (whatever the hell THOSE are!!! ) all typical 1950s (ish) marking, not only for ANG and Reserves, but active units as well
-
since the pre-war Vindicators are starting to look pretty good, I thought I have a go at one of their hangar-mates Should have known better -- the exception to the rule is "everyone once and a while, you'll find a pasko model that DOESN'T have a decal bleed" This one IS the rule -- most do. Well, there's 3 days work down the singularity ... kcuf note to self --- talk a 3d modeler willing to build new Wildcats .....
-
one wonders if they fixed the fuel leakage problem with the integral 'wet wing' tanks
-
also note the tailwheel doors are missing -- quite common in post-war mustangs
-
indeed, their world center is base off the existence of their landing gear. specificly created static lods are needed for that
-
yeah, I was gonna say the tail serial number presentation is wrong. It should look like mine. All post-war ANG units, even into the jet age (see my ANG Sabres and T-Jets) carried teh "ANG" notation. makes me wonder about the authenticity of the checks ... what needed are actual period photos
-
now, all we need are general aviaton (light civilian) planes to park around (ie: statics)
-
Yes, please. TELL us which F-5 it is, so maybe someone will come along and edit the announcement thread, and let other future downloaders KNOW exactly which one it's for. Just because it's fixed for you, dosen't mean it's fixed for everyone.
