bumpin this back as im on a slight pause with SAC and ANG Bones while i get some research done on McConnell my thoughts on this, units:a repurposed 85 Wing (Southern Bomber Command rather than Air Lift Group) featuring No 12 and No 460 or 467 Sqns. 460 is currently an intel unit, but with the return of 4 engined bombers i think it would get renamed and the historically signifigant unit resume flying bombers. No 12 was part of the original 85 Wing as they were gearing up for Japan in mid 1945. me thinks an RAAF getting Bones in the late 2010s would be more nostalgic than one gettin them in the 90s Serials: while Spinners features A43 series, it was allocated to RQ-7 drones. A55 is not allocated (as of 2019) and the last 3 digits could simply be the last 3 of USAF serial like with the Pigs. how many are we envisioning transferring and when? tail markings: maybe a kangaroo with a cruise missile silohuette? skin would be all grey unless your telling me they got em before 95 JosefK, will let you do load outs and any localized radar or EW work, though will try to get exhuast edits to ya as soon as i have them on the _86. as it is currently, just isnt as spectacular as on the real thing or even videos of such

that or move the decal (with proper distance from edge) to a close enough place on the mesh. sometimes you gotta be 18 inches from a particular part rather than 15 to get it to work. like everyone else said, my most common has been running up to close to the edge, although i have used it FOR that effect on some of the airliners (usually to get a stripe to the back end of the bird). most of my lod issues wound up being something completely screwy (thinkin of when i tried to do the VIP C-17 for Qatar, with "Qatar" on the bottom. didnt happen due to a wicked seam) good to hear your making a comeback

well thankfully we are in western countries, not the CCCP. no gulag if you dont get it i too will likely not buy it as it works fine on all my win10 systems. but it does concern me as now we modders will also have to hear "does it work on SF2 Win10?" as well as "does it work in Gen1?" hopefully the answer is "duh....."

interesting to me theres no date (at least that i saw. that aside its two fold announcement. first is good old budget politics; "we dont have enough money need to retire the old stuff so we can get new". however, some of the latest proposals are actually decent, like retiring a little over a dozen B-1B and 44 A-10 rather than the whole fleet. the aircraft proposed would be the higher hour birds and maintenence hogs of the fleet. in the case of the A-10 (still in the process of being rewinged) it would mean 65 new wingsets rather than 109, and a source of other spares for the remaining fleet of around 210. https://www.military.com/daily-news/2020/02/10/bye-bye-brrrrt-air-force-wants-retire-44-10-warthogs.html remains to see how the politics of this plays out tho. also keep in mind when placing and sizing, that Mues latest LODviewer allows you to view decals (and everything else). saves alot of time. when working with decals, initial placement and sizing is the hardest part. create a saved pattern (just like making a skin template) then once the ini is dialed in, its just a matter of working through, whether adding serial numbers, nosearts, insignia, or whole skins (it can be done)

will you be doing the H's is SEA camo too? iirc they served in the guard until 70-71 timeframe (particularly MD ANG) mandatory screenie
