However the old Herks originally included in the install should be deleted to make it more likely for the new Herks to appear in game. That and they are the older models with not accurate skin sets anyhow.   3. you can do that with a skin but dont have the hang of tga! looks awesome tho if you dont mind my asking is the tga issue the creation or the placement?
  4. yes in particular highlight the part in question, it will show the mesh name in the list on the left, or there is a menu option to show where a highlighted mesh is on the particular jpg (or bmp or dds) that you need, mue's LOD viewer is likley one of the most important files released on this site for the modders
  5. also unless your running off a netbook with little HDD space, or a super old system (again with little HDD space) you'll get better results to load into you normal C: drive. but as Wrench said, running of a USB drive can be a pain. It is possible (and functional), just take more to do than running the regular way
  6. hopefully we can get this going again. the variety of aircraft that could be used for both Bosnia operations and Kosova campaigns is pretty decent. F-104S for CAP, F-14s doing strike and FAC, Jaguars, even flying the Sarajevo drop in the new Herks( to go outside the usual line up of players). alot of participants and the ops tempo was something more of a few strikes a day rather than the massive blitz of Vietnam or Desert Storm
  7. there were some issues, possibly with HD crash. angelp would have to specify tho. I wish it would be released, it would be more readily available than the FB one, not to mention i have some basic USMC skins for the non ASW versions i whipped up for him
  8. there was a treaty prohibiting weapons in space, but one can always develop the capabilities even if you dont deploy them side note iirc this new force also takes over cyber"space" warfare as well as usual space based activities such as the NAVSTAR system, recon and ballistic missile launch warning and tracking.
  9. to let you know, unless there's been a major change CC-177 is already covered in teh C-17 pack a few years ago. but i have a project coming up that will also involve the Herks, not to mention the new pack could use some CC versions...

  12. for AI generated things yes. only include the nations you want participating, and keep in mind to check the nation in the object's ini youre wanting to include, we are an international community and many folks tend to focus on their home country. as for Mali, are they already set as a stock enemy nation? otherwise i would think you have to create another nation in the main nations list with new dates and affiliation

I have applied my usual technique to incorporate multiple airlines on one skin per era, with 4 eras from release in the mid 1980s through the mid 1990s. More may become available later but templates are included for those that don't want to wait on me. Installation unzip, open folder titled "Mod Folder" and allow overwrites. IF YOU HAVE A PREVIOUSLY MODDED FOLDER 1. delete flight and terrains from "Mod Folder". 2 open the "Specials Folder", insert the nations txt file into your Nations.ini and the terrain txt file into your (whatever)Nations.ini in the needed terrain folder. templates to wherever you keep files for modding, or delete if you do not desire to mod it Known Issues - It is a bit slow on the pickup. while it can take off from a smaller airbase, best to stick to larger fields - It features the same pit as the 767 and other airliners. we do not have an in house pit that is more appropriate at the moment and so most airliners are stuck looking like generic WWII bomber pits - It has a seam on the bottom of the model that is very pronounced given the decal based marking system i use. however this should not be to noticeable unless you approach it from below. When parked on the ground or viewed from the side or above the seam is not noticeable. - for all above faults, remember: it is meant as eye candy, not an operational bird! enjoy taking off from Keflavik or Rhein Main and seeing many airlines parked on one ramp Credits Original model ......................
