  1. Well here's a first look at them as I can't think of anything else to do. VMFA-225 can be found under VMFA (AW)-225 2019, and the VMFA-232 Red Tail can be found under VMFA-232 'Red Devils' CO VMFA225Ver2.7z VMFA-232_Red_Tail.7z
  2. More work, fading stuff so it generally matches the photo
  3. And the D model. I took the liberty of using the previous skin to help expedite this skin, but should be okay since gradients don't work well with lettering. Since I didn't have a good right side shot I also guessed that it'll look okay the way it is.
  4. Started with the Red Tail VMFA-232 CO bird. The W on the right side is off, as the tail area is too small but otherwise correct I guess.
  5. I can see what I can do
  6. View File F/A-18A+ VFA-87 Line 2007 This is a skin depicting VFA-87's aircraft in 2007, when they were using F/A-18A+ aircraft until they transitioned to the C model. Drop in your FA-18A_03 folder and go fly (or the F/A-18A+ 03 in the selection screen). Submitter EricJ Submitted 10/12/2019 Category F-18

  8. Fixed the tailcode size
  9. Decided to work on a VFA-87 bird, this time in 2007 during that timeframe:
  10. Been getting used to the Legacy Hornet as something different to fly besides Super Hornets, and flying in an earlier period.

  13. Plus when I'm coming back to SF2 it helped a lot as I just had to copy and paste, and got things running again. I backed up though recently, so I'm good for now at least.
  14. I have my whole mod folder backed up on an external hard drive, lessons learned from using Vista back when I had it. I lost some good stuff and ever since then I've backed up. But thanks for the heads up.
  15. Finishing up a bit here
  16. Working on another Hornet skin, this time a VFA-37 CAG bird in 2008:
  17. I think the problem is that the tanks on the Hornet is part of the 3d model, including the Supers. That way you can skin the tanks as well as the aircraft to have varying schemes represented. If you look at the aircraft they're shown with the aircraft in LODviewer, so you're going to have that problem when doing something such as early model tanks and putting them on the aircraft. I vaguely remember that bpao had the original models and the problem is that he passed away so what we have is what we have. And if I'm wrong then it will take a person to add the early tanks to the A and B models for historical accuracy. I think FastCargo may have them but not entirely too sure who has them, if anybody.
