  1. The B-57A is pretty much a Canberra B-2 copy - dont think it went to production and not so sure on the bombing method - which is why it got the nice Canberra Kesselbrut pit. http://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_bombers/b57_1.html
  2. Yes the night light effects and tracer glow are a massive improvement in SF2
  3. What skin have you downloaded? (link) What model are you using it with? (link) Where have you placed the skins folder - it just needs to go in the Objects\Aircraft\F-14x folder for example - ensure you have placed it in the correct location for SF2 - if not sure read section 1 here: http://combatace.com/topic/44026-converting-older-planes-to-work-in-sf2-a-basic-guide-by-migbuster/
  4. Would need to ask the guys who made the actual models - one may have been Veltro
  5. You can switch the mirrors off in the game options if they are causing you Frame rate issues. Other than that they are part of the cockpit LOD.
  6. No - maybe a WIP
  7. Another one - Happy birthday Mr Cocas
  8. Happy Birthday XRay
  9. Are they gearing up for a civil war ? Have you done the Buckinghamshire AF yet ?
  10. They defo use Mavericks in SF2 - order them to engage about 5 miles out.
  11. Spot on - what he said
  12. From what I remember - certainly on the F-4 you needed a laser pod for the primary also to get the IR view and for it to guide properly - would need to check
  13. crikey I Didnt realise how wrong it could go. Had a Wisdom tooth out around 5 years back that was sticking into the side of my mouth. One injection, a pair of pliars and a cracking noise and it was out.
  14. Apparently : Although the team has been working hard on DX11 support, there is still a long way to go and it will not be ready in time for A-10C unfortunately. Work continues though and we hope to have it in the next DCS aircraft. As can be seen though, even DX9c looks pretty darn good. This has always been up in the air, and not listed on the A-10C web page for this reason. So i guess that vids in DX 9
  15. Nice work looks ace
  16. What - a new Galaxy!! - no idea these were still being made
  17. Happy Birthday to you!
  18. A well written and comprehensive review - I hope to be upgrading from 4 to 5 over the coming months. For your info there was a big step going from Tir3 to Tir4 - the 4 was much easier to use, worked a lot better and was smaller. This is almost as important edition as a joystick in combat simming.
  19. Looking through and trying to understand "Sukhoi Interceptors" by Yefim Gordon - the "Fishpot-A" designation was given by NATO to an experimental Interceptor called the T-3 which flew at a 1956 Airshow and had no radar at the time. About a year later it was given an Almaz 3 radar and PVU-67 computing sight, SRZO-2 IFF system and launch control system for KL-7L AAMs. The nose point does not come from the centre but covers the top half of the nose so it looks different to the Fishpot B. The T-3 "Fishpot A" had no guns (it was designed to have a two 30mm cannon) - and there were a lot of different prototypes in this book leading up to and after the Su-9 Fishpot B which was the only production version (~1000 built) - Some early Fishpot Bs had gun blast plates installed looking at these photos but no cannon were installed. So officially the Su-9A is the Su-9 Fishpot-B - There was no Su-9 Fishpot A, but there was a T-3 Fishpot A Heres a photo from wiki of a Sukhoi T-3 Fishpot A complete with KL-7Ls:
  20. haha - exactly what I was thinking!
  21. Not bad Thats the 3rd really good video Ive seen recently - one being this of course:
  22. Yep looks pretty good this one!
  23. What I meant was that taking into account the amount of wars the F-16 has been in (quite a few!) this has placed a lot more airframe hours, airframe stress and potential for accidents on top of combat losses.
