    2. Mi-24 Hungary '581'

Strike Fighters/Wings Over Vietnam/Wings Over Europe etc Mi-24 skins readme

All credit for these skins goes to their creators as detailed below. All I've done is to re-format them for SF\WOV\WOE and add a textureSet to each skin.

Not all of the countries for which we have skins are included in the standard NATIONS.ini list, so I've left those as Soviet. It doesn't make any difference to the skins' appearance as there are no decals to worry about. If you have the New Nations mod that includes these missing countries then feel free to modify the relevant TextureSet.

All you need to do is to extract the skin to your Objects\Aircraft\Mi-24 folder, then go fly and blow up some stuff.

Thanks must go to the A Team for making the Mi-24 for SF\WOV\WOE, Tim Conrad for the original Mi-24V, and of course TK for giving us these great sims to play with.

This skin is based on Gregory Paul's textures.

      Enjoy, and good hunting

    14. SF2 P/F-61B Black Widow, 319th F(AW)S Skins Pack Post-WW2

      SF2 P/F-61B Black Widow, 319th F(AW)S Skins Pack       7/2/2019
-For SF2, (Full 5 Merged Reccomended)-
This is a new skin & decal set for Veltro2K's P-61 Black Widow Night/All Weather interceptor.
This skin represents the 318th Fighter (All Weather) Squadron from 1946-1948. They were (originally) based at Mitchell Field (AFB) Long Island, NY, as part of the newly formed Air Defence Command. They and several other night/all weather and day fighter squadrons were responsible for the defence of the northeastern United States. In 1948, they moved to McChord AFB, Washington, transistioned to F-82 Twin Mustangs, and took on Northwest Air Defense duties.
The skin is in jpg format. All markings are decals. 26 new P-61B serial and Buzz numbers were created for this mod. The serials ARE for late production block 61Bs, but should be considered generic in nature as they represent no particular aircraft from any specific unit. Decal randomization is TRUE. Included is a hangar screen for this skin, too! The SF2 'date switch' is used to turn on this skin in 1946.
Also included is a new data and avionics inis. A new more compliant FM has been built, and many engine parameters have been adjusted (NOW! With WEP!!). The avionics ini, given game limitations, should be more in line with the actual workings of the SCR-720 air intercept radar. A backup copy of the data ini is included, for safety's sake. (always back up!!). See "Notes" below for a complete listing, and explainitions.
You must have the original P-61B from either you WW2 installs or a new download from the following URL to apply this skin set to:
      https://combatace.com/files/file/14739-northrop-p-61-black-widow-pack/
Remember, this is a POST-war skin. The data ini has operational dates adjusted (corrected) accordingly.
As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Might want to give the "Notes & Other Nonsense" section a once over, as well! :)
      Good Hunting!

    15. E-3A RSAF

(TMF) E-3A SENTRY RSAF by PeacePuma
In the late 1980s the Royal Saudi Air Force purchased 5 E-3A Sentry aircraft which were assembled in the UK with the new CFM56 engines.
They had a relevant participation in the Gulf War, being part of the more than 300 missions that prevented Iraq from doing something in secret. They are currently based at 6 Wing and No. 18 Squadron of the RSAF
This mod recreates current and early 90s liveries

The Mirage Factory...... for the original Aircraft
PeacePuma ................. addons 3d, skins, decals, ini edits
      Strahi............................ ini edits
Wrench ........................ approval on behalf of TMF members

      You must know:
This mod does not include a virtual cockpit (if you find a suitable one you can include it yourself)
The engines are not animated as it is just a mod overlay for the false seat technique.
You must not distribute without permission of its original authors!!!

    17. ME109E 2 JG3

This skin represents 2/JG3 during the late Battle of Britain period. The scheme is the later RLM 74/75 Gray upper surfaces with RLM 65 lower surfaces. The nose and tail have been overpainted in RLM 04 yellow for ease of recognition. Lots of information is presented in the readme, please read it.

This skin, and all from this series I'm going to present, makes extensive use of Russouk2004's .psd file. All the detail work; panel lines, rivets, weathering, etc., is Russo's. I am indebted to him for allowing me to use these parts of his file without restriction. I painted the underlying camouflage and created the decals, which include numbers for 16 aircraft and kill markings up to thirty kills. Hopefully, someday, I will possess one third of Russo's skill at creating detail work, until then, I'm grateful he's allowed me to use his, so I can at least get a start in skinning.

I hope you enjoy this, and the others to come....

    22. MIG–21F-13 LSK/NVA Silver

      MIG–21F-13 LSK/NVA Silver

In 1962 the Mig-21F-13 began his service in JG-8.
JG-3 was converted in 1964. Then the JG-9.
Late many planes were in training unit JAG-15 at Rothenburg.
East Germany Mig-21F were silver before they were assigned in late service to recon duty in TAFS-47 and 87 .

Is there any Mig-21F’s templates to make the camo version, too? I’ld like to try if someone send me the templates.

I made the serials using original Carlo “Soulfreak” Vecchi numbers, according with Yefim Gordon’s Mig-21 bible, so I think they are historically correct.
Other stuff taken from Delta576 and adapted.

Every known by me (and Yefim Gordon) “Q” excellence awarded plane has his badge (N. 641-645 / 21-23 to select in the game for take off).
If You tell me more I’ll update the pack.

More (all) LSK/NVA Mig-21 historical versions to come for better Woe campaigns.

      Paulopanz

To install: simply put decals in decals folder and LSKSilver1 folder in Mig-21F folder.
That’s all. Picture and readme included.

    23. Complex static/parked Lightning Mk6 canopy down (complete)

I've decided to post each static aircraft as a complete folder so that the installation process is as simple as possible. I felt that the manual installation in my earlier post was too much work for a lot of people. This way you can pick and choose the statics you want to include in your own missions.

"If you build it, they will come". Well, if you make it easy for people, they will use it.

This posting consists of a Lightning Mk6 complex static/parked aircraft with its canopy down, a sample mission (.msn) file that makes use of it, and an extract of the optional changes to the VIETNAMSEA_TARGETS.INI (or equivalent) file that you may want to apply.

      Thanks, regards, PNT/comrpnt :-)

    25. DLC 28: AVIA S-99/S-199 Flaps Fix

Strike Fighters 2 - DLC 28: AVIA S-99/S-199 Flaps Fix
Fix for the bugged flaps of the aircraft Avia S-99 and S-199.
Fixes the meshes and adjust the data.ini for both planes.
This is a patch for the file DLCData028.DLC of 121.878.708 bytes
      Found in your SF2\DLC folder.
For safety backup your original DLCData028.DLC file.
The distance LODs will not be fixed, so it is advisable to change the distance in S-99.ini and S-199.ini  like below:
      [LOD001] Filename=S-99.lod //Distance=120 Distance=300 Gerwin 4-7-2019
