2. SF2 B-57B Canberra, Early SEA Camo Skin Pack

SF2 B-57B Canberra, Early SEA Camo Skin Pack 12/21/2023
= For SF2, Any and All =
* Full-5 Merged reccomended *
This mod is designed to be used with my recently uploaded B-57B Upgrade & Skis set. You can still use it, if you're familiar enough with added/editing inis. If not, you can find the Upgrade Pack at the following URL:
https://combatace.com/files/file/18162-sf2-b-57b-canberra-ini-skin-decal-update-pak/
A new Vietnam-era skin for the stock 3rdWire B-57B Canberra. This represents the 8th Bombardment Squadron of the 35th TFW as first deployed to Southeast Asia. The uppers are finished is standard 3-tone camo, with the unders in a 'light grey'. This was an unpopular paint job, and was replaced soon after with the standard Night Black (tm) unders.
All markings are decals, and have 24 100% historically correct serials, and their presentation on the tail, for the timeframe represented. Decal randomization is TRUE. As usual, they are marked with the star (*) to show their accuracy.
Also included, is a new(ish) Dual HVAR launcher, as requested (along with this skin) by CA member KiwiBiggles. It's a modified, aircraft specific version of the dual rack as used on the F-84 Thunderjet/Thunderstreak. It mounts the STOCK 3W 5" HVAR rockets. It has been edited to it's own name, and will NOT conflict with the T-Jet rack. A new loadout ini is included that pre-loads the Dual Rack for those mission taskings when it would be needed. This skin also includes it's own Hangar Screen. (You may need to edit the main B-57B.ini to add it. If you don't know how, contact me via PM or post in this announcement thread)
On the Loadout screen, for skin selection you'll see:
8th BS (Early Grey Unders)
On the drop-down menu
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!

3. [Fictional] Saab-Fairchild F-13A Draken USAF

Saab-Fairchild F-13A Draken for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a very fictional 'what if' Saab-Fairchild F-13A Draken in USAF service and with markings for the following;
1. 125th FW Florida ANG
2. 177th FW New Jersey ANG
3. 4451st TS Tonopah Test Range, Nevada
I've used the excellent Draken J35D 'David' from the Draken pack uploaded at CombatACE by lindr2 to create this 'what if' USAF Draken but heartily recommend the Draken pack which has no less than 8 Drakens and is a superb effort by all concerned.
In this update I've removed the grey skin and added a black skin for the 4451st TS at Tonopah. I've also added 'extra' pylons so as to be able to have date specific loadouts and also allow for selectable silver and black drop tanks with the black drop tanks a better match for the all black 4451st TS skin from 1982 onwards. For the F-13A's early service years of 1967 to 1968 you'll be limited to AIM-4D Falcons in the default loadouts... good luck with those!

BACKSTORY
During mid-1965 with attrition rates rising as the Vietnam conflict progressed (sic) the USAF's plans for re-equipping the ADC and ANG interceptor squadrons with F-4C's fell apart. Undaunted they launched a quick study into an off-the-shelf purchase of an alternative interceptor looking at the BAC Lightning, the Dassault Mirage IIIC, the Saab Draken J35F and the homegrown Lockheed Starfighter 'ADC' (an F-104G optimised for air-defense duties). With some considerable weighting given to low cost in the detailed analysis the Saab Draken soon became the front-runner being the only aircraft with a fly-away price below $1M but, in fact, the USAF study team scored the Draken highly in most areas.
In July 1966 the USAF announced that Saab's outstanding J35F was the winner of the competition and that Fairchild, who had recently taken over Republic Aviation, were to partner Saab in producing the aircraft by now redesignated F-13 (despite objections from Fairchild to the 'unlucky' number although Saab didn't seem too bothered). Entering service with the Florida Air National Guard in March 1967 the F-13 was initially viewed as the poor relation by the F-106 squadrons, a situation that soon changed with the success of the F-13 in the 1970 William Tell competition. F-13's served until the mid-1980's when they were generally replaced by F-16A's although one squadron remained in service until 1990 at the Tonopah Test Range in Nevada in a ruse designed to mask operations of the F-117 Stealth Fighter.
During the flight-testing and the early service years of the F-117A 'Nighthawk' the F-13A Draken was used as a surrogate aircraft to maintain pilot proficiency and to provide part of an eloborate cover story for the existence of the 4450th Tactical Group. Whilst in no way similar to the shape of the F-117A the rakish lines of the Draken did have an unusual planform and was therefore chosen as the 'cover' aircraft for the specially created 4451st Tactical Squadron based at Tonopah. It is believed that 18 F-13A's were given a modest refurbishment to extend their operational lives and initially wore a two-tone grey scheme to give them more of an operational 'front-line' appearance. F-13A's entered service with the 4451st TS at Nellis AFB in May 1981 and wore 'LV' tailcodes due to their proximity to Las Vegas. From about 1983 at least half of the F-13A's were re-painted matt black and operated from Tonopah at times of day to to coincide with the F-117A test programme and it became a deliberate policy to park some of the matt black F-13A's out in the open so as to give the impression that Tonopah was simply a normal operational F-13A base. At least four derelict ex-Florida ANG F-13A's arrived by low-loader and were given an overall coat of matt black paint to help maintain this impression.

The F-13A's were extremely popular with the pilots of the 4451st TS and were often used as 'Red' assets in Red Flag exercises and even made the occasional guest appearance in 'Constant Peg' operations when MiG's became unserviceable or simply to provide dissimilar bogeys. As the F-117A gradually moved from 'black' to 'grey' towards the end of the 1980's the 4451st TS's F-13A operations slowly dwindled and the unit was disbanded on April 30th, 1990.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-13A_Draken folder into your Aircraft folder.
2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-13A_Draken folder into your main Decals folder.
3. From the SOUNDS folder drag and drop both 'Avon' files into your SOUNDS folder.
4. From the WEAPONS folder drag and drop both folders into your main WEAPONS folder.
That's it!

4. SF2 Formosa Straits Terrain Revamp (v.2) by Gepard

SF2 Formosa Straits Terrain Revamp (v.2) by Gepard 10/15/23
*Full 5 Merged Installs Recommended*
This terrain mod is designed to REPLACE any and all eariler versions. It also includes any previous updates from long past years. It is designed for use with the SF2-NA environment
While the tiling has not been touched, (almost) all the target areas have been revamped, rebuilt or replaced. Several new regions have been added, and many of the other inis have been upgraded (See Notes for more changes). Several items (Ground Objects & Weapons) are supplied; in the Notes section is a list of other items you'll probably want to obtain. Be advised, you will experience longer than usual loading times, due to the weight of objects on the terrain. And yes, you can expect a plethora of 'hidden in the open' Easter Eggs. After all, it's my trademark!! (tm)
As always, PLEASE read the install instructions, and the accompaning Notes and Other Nonsense for more details on other needed items. As is reccommended, unzip to an easy to find location, so you can access the readme for it's full instructions. Gepard's original readme is also included, for historical purposes.

5. [Fictional] Saab Draken F.1

Saab Draken F.1 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a 'what if' Saab Draken F.1 with markings for No.56 and No.74 squadrons of the Royal Air Force as they might of appeared in the 1960's in service with RAF Fighter Command.
I've used the excellent Draken J35D 'David' from the Draken pack uploaded at CombatACE by lindr2 to create this 'what if' RAF Draken but heartily recommend the Draken pack which has no less than 8 Drakens and is a superb effort by all concerned.
Apart from a simple bit of overspray onto the superb Bare Metal Skin I've simply used my decals to create RAF Drakens for No.56 sqd (The Firebirds) and No.74 sqd (The Tigers) and these two squadrons were never far away from each other during that era. I've tweaked the data.ini and also the loading.ini to give RAF style loadouts and also used the stock Su-7 drop tanks which are a good match.
The Draken itself was an amazing achievement and has a similar WOW factor to the contempory 'Century Series' of fighters - you just cannot believe it first flew in 1955... it just looks so cool! As much as I love the English
Electric Lightning you must remember that the Draken had half the power but effectively did the same job plus another half-a-dozen! In addition, it cost dramatically less and it certainly required a fraction of the maintenance man-hours!
Suggested further reading - Saab Draken (chapter) 'Early Supersonic Fighters of the West' (Bill Gunston)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the DrakenF1 folder into your Aircraft folder.
2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the DrakenF1 folder into your main Decals folder.
3. From the WEAPONS folder drag and drop the Firestreak1 folder into your Weapons folder.

6. SF2 B-57B Canberra Ini, Skin & Decal Update Pak

SF2 B-57B Canberra Ini, Skin & Decal Update Pak 11/30/2023
= For SF2, Any and All =
* Full-5 Merged reccomended, but can be used in any game with access to the STOCK B-57B & F-4C_67 *
** Designed to REPLACE in total, any earlier mod packages of this type **
Some ini mods for the stock 3W B-57B that add a usable cockpit (albeit not perfect!, but VERY usable & functional), new avioncs ini, and adds the Nuclear Delivery Capability (tm) they had from inception. All this will make the aircraft Player Flyable (tm). Be advised, your game install MUST have access to the stock F-4C_67, as that cockpit is used in this mod. See "Notes" for more Whys.
This mod includes a new skin, for the 499th BS, 345th BG with historical serial & Buzz Numbers for 24 aircraft. It should be noted, while correct for the 345th, I was unable to locate serials specifically for the 499th. The "Bat Out of Hell" nose art IS fictious, but historical as used on their B-25s during WW2 in the Pacific. I just thought it looked cool!. Also included (as seen in the SF2 CA Forum) is a new skin for the wing tip drop tanks as used on the Natural Metal Finish (NMF) skin. As of now, it's set up ONLY for the USAF NMF skin, but is easily used on any other NMFs. See "Notes" below are more instructions. The USAF NMF skin also gets 24 correct serial & buzz number decals, but they are 'generic' in nature, representing no specific unit.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! You may with to unzip this archive FIRST before installing, to read all the crazed instructions. Also, please read the Notes section for more expositions on WHY I chose the cockpit I did.
Happy Landings!

9. PL-17 BVR AAM

1.Preface
The specific parameters of this weapon are still extremely mysterious, and very little information has been disclosed to the outside world. Even its actual appearance may be different from the public photos (it is suspected that most of the photos are just inert training version).
Therefore, part of its performance is purely my guess based on the existing data. Based on the "What if" attribute, I try to make it as close as possible to what it should be.
The following is quoted from information provided by Wiki, exactly what I used as a reference to fill in the data:
PL-17 is much larger than other long-range air-to-air missiles, at 6 m (20 ft) long (whereas PL-15, AIM-120 are measured around 4 m (13 ft) long), which contains more solid fuel. The extended length makes the missile unfit for the internal weapons bay of the Chengdu J-20. During the flight, PL-17 would rely on inertial guidance, satellite navigation, and data-link to track targets. During the terminal phase, the missile would turn on its multimode seeker with both active AESA radar and IR-homing to track the target autonomously. The missile features a low-drag profile, and maneuverability is provided by four small control fins and thrust-vectoring engines. The range is reportedly between 300–500 km (190–310 mi) by various media, or 400 km (250 mi) class by Royal United Services Institute with a top speed in excess of Mach 4.
2.What's in the mod:
Actually,it include 2 versions:
1.PL-17 —— live ammunition,white paint with black identification ring;
2.PL-17J ——  Inert training version that I made up (because I didn’t know its real type name, I used the initials of the training ammunition in Chinese),blue-green paint, cannot be launched and is only used as a decoration in SF2;

3.Precautions:
1.Due to the large size of thses 2 missiles, they are usually only available on specific station in specific aircrafts, if you can't find them, it's likely that the station is incompatible;
2.The last two pictures are in real life for reference.

4.Usage:
Copy PL-17 and PL-17J folders to your Weapons folder ,then everthing should be fine.

10. F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo

F-CK-1 Ching-kuo (IDF) Multirole Fighter Jet
by UllyB

November the 21th 2023/ver 1.0.1
****************************************

The Taiwanese Ching-Kuo Fighter is developed and manufactured by the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation based in Taichung. The aircraft is also referred to as the Indigenous Defence Fighter (IDF). The Ching-Kuo is an all-weather, multi-role fighter and is built in one-seater and two-seater configurations.
Ching-Kuo fighter programme
The programme to develop the aircraft, known as the An Hsiang or Safe Flight programme, started in 1982 with identification of the requirements for an air-superiority fighter. The rollout ceremony of the first prototype took place in December 1988, when the aircraft was named after the late President Chiang Ching-Kuo. The Ching-Kuo made its first flight in May 1989.
Ching-Kuo air superiority fighters are operational in the RoC Air Force of Taiwan (Republic of China) since January 2000 and the last of a total of 130 entered service in July 2000.
AIDC has developed an upgrade package which includes a digital cockpit, upgraded radar and countermeasures. BAE Systems supplied the new 32-bit digital flight control computer. Two F-CK-1 prototypes were upgraded to F-CK-1 C/D in 2006. The upgraded C/D aircraft made its first flight in October 2006. It was renamed as F-CK-1 C/D Hsiung Ying (Brave Hawk) in 2007. Other improvements in the upgrade package included increased internal fuel capacity, improved avionics, renovated electronic warfare capabilities and strengthened landing gear. Production of the C/D version began in 2009 as part of the $588m Mid Life Upgrade (MLU) programme.
AIDC will upgrade the initial 71 of 130 IDFs under the MLU programme. The first batch of six upgraded F-CK-1 C/D IDFs were delivered to the ROCAF in June 2011. The remaining 65 were delivered at the end of 2012.

***********************************************
FCK-1 also known by you, by now, as COMMUNITY MOST WANTED is the first project here that was decided after a democratic vote of community members. I decided to let community vote what type of plane would wish to be built as a sign of appreciation and respect for it.
This project had a bumpy start. We lost the 3D Max guy after two weeks.Things went so bad that I saw no other way out than to close the shop. Then GKABS offered to help and bought a 3D model from the market. He and his team offered to take over the project but they had to postponed it before because of their current projects at that time. Then I had a long talk with my old friend and veteran Logan4 who, miraculously offered to help and he gave me a reason to resurrect the project and put it back on tracks. We built a small team and we proceeded forward.
As one said it, I owe him one for that. Logan4 had an utmost contribution to this very project.Truth is that Logan4 and his exceptional character and altruism saved the project and I thank him for that deeply.

Aircraft general features:
- slick 3D design for A/C and B/D versions
- canopy animation
- aircraft workable slimmers (SHIFT+9)
- custom weapons
- slick fuel tank design
- custom fueltank colors to match the aircraft skins paintjob.
- bump maps (normal maps)
- regular aircraft night lights.
- original decals built
- original paintjobs, some inspired from real models.
- engine smoke/vapors realistic effect
- custom made engine intake decals
- hangar pictures for every model included

11. SF2 B-25J Mitchell "Night Intruder" Gunship (KAW What-If)

SF2 B-25J Mitchell "Night Intruder" Gunship (KAW What-If) 4/19/2021
-For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
** Found in the Archives; as you can tell by the date above!!! **
This is a 'What If...' mod of Veltro2k's B-25J Gunship that might have been used during the Korean War. This goes on the presumption that the (A)B-26 Invader either was not available or present in enough numbers.
The skin represents a reactivated 499th Bomb Squadron of the 345th Bomb Group. The aircraft is finished in overall night black (like the A-26 and later B-57s). This is the solid gun-nosed Mitchell, with the addition of a wing mounted AN/APS-4 radar unit (just like the USN's PBJs). 24 aircraft serials and Buzz Numbers are provided, as is the "Bat Out of Hell" nose markings. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Weapons (WW2 bombs & rockets), sounds, pilot figures are all provided.
As is always reccommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!!
Happy Landings! Have Fun!!

12. [Fictional] Republic Aviation F-84J Thunderstreak

Republic F-84J Thunderstreak for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2:EUROPE
This is a simple mod of the stock Third Wire F-84F to give a fictional F-84J Thunderstreak of the Finnish Ilmavoimat (Finnish Air Force) with markings for Fighter Squadron 11 and Fighter Squadron 31.

BACKSTORY
With Finland being ever anxious to maintain it's neutrality it was surprising that in June 1954 the Finnish government elected to purchase the Republic Thunderstreak F-84J. However, in typically Finnish fashion the purchase of 40 F-84J's was organised via the Swedish government and the aircraft chosen could hardly be called 'state of the art' being essentially a warmed-up F-84F Thunderstreak with the General Electric J73-GE5EX engine (non-afterburning and rated at 9,000lbs thrust) shoehorned in. No munitions were supplied and SAAB were chosen to prepare the aircraft for Ilmavoimat service with four British Hispano V 20mm cannon replacing the six 0.5 calibre machine guns of the standard F-84F and giving the F-84J a strong 'neutral' flavour throughout, even to the extent of carrying mainly British, Swedish or Soviet weapons. Entering service with HavLLv31 in 1956 the aircraft equipped two squadrons and at least gave the Ilmavoimat a taste of a 'modern' swept-wing fighter although the F-84J was certainly no F-86 Sabre and, presumably, that was the whole point!

INSTRUCTIONS
1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-84J folder into your Aircraft folder.
2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-84J folder into your main Decals folder.
That's it!!

CREDITS
As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim.
Special thanks to ludo.m54 for the superb F-84F templates.
And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.

13. [Fictional] F-84H 'Sharav' for SF2:Europe

F-84H for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2:EUROPE
This is a simple mod of the stock Third Wire F-84F to give a fictional F-84H 'Sharav' of the Israeli Air Force with markings for;
No.101 Squadron (Camo)
No.107 Squadron (Silver)
No.140 Squadron (Camo)
No.201 Squadron (Silver)
No.201 Squadron (Silver c/w sharkmouth)
This should work in a stand alone SF2:Europe game (featuring the stock Third Wire F-84F) but has only been tested in a merged install of SF2/SF2V/SF2E/SF2I/SF2NA.

BACKSTORY
The Israeli Air Force had looked at purchasing the Republic F-84F Thunderstreak as early as 1952 but teething problems with the troublesome Wright J65 jet engine delayed a firm order until March 1955 when 36 F-84H's were ordered with deliveries starting in August 1955 with No.107 squadron becoming the first unit to re-equip with this tough and popular fighter-bomber.
After seeing service in the ill-fated 1956 Suez conflict another batch of 36 F-84H's were ordered and the type eventually equipped four squadrons and took part in the 1967 'Six-Day' war gaining a fearsome reputation as a
low-level attack aircraft. However the two squadrons that were still equipped with the type at the start of the 1973 'Yom Kippur' war suffered heavy losses over the Sinai Peninsula and the type was withdrawn from service by the end of year.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-84H folder into your Aircraft folder.
2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-84H folder into your Decals folder.
That's it!

14. SF2 Chengdu J-7 Fishbed Series Pak by Mod Mafia/TMF (v.2)

SF2 Chengdu J-7 Fishbed Series Pak by Mod Mafia/TMF (v.2) 11/12/2023

= For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =
An upgrade pack for the 3 J-7 Fishbeds built by The Mod Mafia/Mirage Factory. This is the full set as issued in 2012. This is EVERYTHING, all the aircraft, weapons, pilots etc. These aircraft have had their FM revised to something more SF2-ish, with all hit boxes and collision points also revised. It is designed to REPLACE, in total, all previous versions. Yes, you may just drop these over your originals. Backup copies of the data inis are all supplied as a "just in case CYA".
===
Some of several "newer models" that were never quite completed when Bpao passed away a few year back. I've been fortunate enough to be allowed to complete his work, as a member of the Mod Mafia.
This pack contains 3 of the J-7 Fishbed series, as built and operated by the PLAAF (People's Repbulic of China), and exported to some other folks. They are:
Chengdu J-7I
Chengdu J-7II
Chengdu J-7IIA
The J-7I and II have only PLAAF skins. The J-7IIA (exported as F-7B) has skins for
PLAAF
Iraqi Air Force (folder called "Camo2")
Islamic Republic of Iran AF (folder called "Camo1")

All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE. Damage textures are the older tga versions.
All markings are decals,(excepting National Markings, which on some skins are painted on), and reference stock 3W items. The PLAAF Bort numbers may be incorrect; skinner/decal makers are !ENCOURAGED!! to create more correct ones.
A user list is included for all, even for the I & II, which were NOT exported
All sounds, pilot figure(s), seats, are included. Weapons, for the most part, reference those already "stock" in-game items. However, in the usual "CYA" effort, Chinese A-A missiles are included. These come from the GunnyPak.

The Canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0. The RWR.lst for the J-7IIA references many items from dtmdragon's Updated Threat Library; the url/download link I cannot find! So, I've just went ahead and included all the various RWR tgas that I had (in the /Flight folder included in this zip)
When 'in game', you'll see on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown Menu, for each one...
Chengdu J-7I (TMF)
Chengdu J-7II (TMF)
Chengdu J-7IIA (TMF)
This will differentiate all these aircraft from any others you may have, either stock, user-made, imported from China, or whathaveyou.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -READ- them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explainations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth.
A full listing of credits, as always, is below the Install Instructions.

15. F-CK-1 Ching-kuo addon skin

F-CK-1 Ching-kuo EagelHead skin
by UllyB

November the 21th 2023/ver 1.0

16. SF2 RoCAF F-84G Thunderjet Skin & Decal Pack

SF2 RoCAF F-84G Thunderjet Skin & Decal Pack 10/30/2023
-For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended)
This is a new skin for the F-84G Thunderjet available here at CombatAce at the following url:
https://combatace.com/files/file/12294-republic-f-84g-thunderjet-by-russouk-for-sf2/
This pack is 'representative' of F-84G Thunderjets used by the Republic of China Air Force (Taiwan).
All markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. All serials are 100% historically accurate for T-Jets serving in the RoCAF. As is usual, those on the number list marked with a star (*) have their serial number matched to their "modex" or plane-in-squadron numbers. Any others, not marked, could not be matched to ID numbers, but ARE correct serials as seen on RoCAF T-Jets. This mod does not, however, replicate any specific or particular squadron. I was unable to run them down accurately enough. This is also the reason for not having any of the squadron color bands used on the nose/tail/wingtip tanks. You have a "basic" full squadron of 26 numbers. Also included are updated _data and _loadout inis, adding "Anti-Ship" mission tasking. As this will change USAF and other users missions, you may wish to back up the original data ini. Please also note, that the bombs used are the Stock 3W M64 500 pounders. If you wish to use the older ones, you'll need to edit the loadout ini.

As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!!

22. Mirage F1CR standard F7

When it became clear that the Mirage F1 was becoming a successful production aircraft, Dassault began investigating the possibility of a dedicated reconnaissance version for its most important client, the French Air Force. However, the escalating cost of fighter aircraft meant that add-on pods for this purpose were a more economical alternative. Many French Air Force aircraft, as well as those of some export clients (such as Iraq's Mirage F1EQ), did indeed have a variety of reconnaissance pods available, which were attached to the underside of the main fuselage. However, the development of a tactical reconnaissance aircraft for the French Air Force continued, and the first Mirage F1CR flew on 20 November 1981.
F1CR specifics:
A/A: R550/R550-2 self-defence only, no R530 and no S530F (no wiring) A/G: AUF2 (no CLB4, no CLB8), rockets (<90ies), bombs, BAP/BAT radio-altimeter Inertial Navigation System (Sagem ULISS 47), VOR/ILS Panoramic (Omera 40 75mm) and vertical (Omera 33 150 mm) cameras Radar Cyrano IV-MR Seat Mk10 AAR probe no right gun, Super Cyclope Infra-Red linescan imager (SAT SCM 2400) instead Barax, Phimat capability CC420 pods capability RPL201 EFT F1CR F7 standard specifics:

23. Type 625A/625E SHORAD

Please note that because there is less information about this air defense system leaked to the outside world, this mod has certain [What If] content.
So what are Type 625 and 625E?
"Based on the revealed images, the Type 625E is a short range air defense system, or SHORAD. It is built as an 8×8 vehicle-mounted self-propelled anti-aircraft gun and surface-to-air missile system."
—— From Military-Wiki
This SHORAD is set to debut in at least 2021, with Type 625 being PLA’s own version, while Type 625E is the version intended for export.
The difference between them is that the Type 625 has a longer gun and only 2 short-range anti-aircraft missiles on both sides.
In this mod, due to the lack of 100% accurate model materials, I personally transformed the Type 625E based on the real prototype, named it Type 625A and set the service date as 2020.
In summary, this mod contains:
1.Type 625A SHORAD (Olive Green/Desert Digital);
2.Type 625E SHORAD (Woodland/Desert/Desert Digital).
Usage:
Copy the Objects folder into your SF2 main folder.

Special thanks to:GKABS (for the Stinger model, the HY-6B seems to have a similar appearance to the Stinger, so I adapted based on his great work)

Updated

24. UPDATE Green Hell repaint Mk.9a

This is an update for my repaint of the redone VietnamSEA tiles and the GreenHelll addon. Thus the previous update is required:

VietnamSEA & Green Hell repaint Mk.9

In the original I offered a repaint of the rescaled Green Hell trees, as well as 'enhanced originals' I bodged together, that were basically the original trees pushed about a stop (thats photographic speak for made brighter), but the colours didn't blend with the terrain- ugly.

In this update you have four tree types to choose from (don't get too excited they're not all that different). Upon request I reworked the original larger Green Hell trees for both the 'originals' and the 'repaints'.
Includes:

Large Trees/ Repaint: **Recommended** reworked repaint that gives a more accurate variation in the colour of the vegetation (primarily to the grass and palm trees) with terrain blending also kept in mind.

Large Trees/Original: overall colours and curves altered to make vegetation blend with my repainted terrain. No alterations to individual vegetation.

Rescaled Trees/Repaint: Same as above with rescaled trees.

Rescaled Trees/Original: As above.

Changes:

- Upon request, addon now included altered version of the original Green Hell trees as well as the smaller rescaled ones for your preference.

- Originals re-done with same alterations used on my tiles.

- Repainted trees better balanced out for more realism once placed on terrain, whilst maintain their independently realistic colours.

25. [Fictional] Douglas A-4D Skyhawk (Dhimar)

Douglas A-4D Skyhawk for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2
This is a very simple mod of the stock Third Wire A-4E Skyhawk to give a flyable A-4D (Dhimar) in service with the Dhimari Air Force with markings for;
No.6 Squadron - 'The Eagles'
No.7 Squadron - 'The Rattlesnakes'

BACKSTORY
During the early to mid-1950's almost every US Navy aircraft programme hit some sort of propulsion trouble with either engines that were either down on thrust or simply so unreliable that they were a hazard to flight safety. Douglas were no exception and the SkyKnight and Skyray programmes were hit especially hard and the A4D Skyhawk programme initially didn't fare much better with the J65 down on thrust and the Pentagon bizarrely ordering that reconditioned Air Force J65's should be used for Skyhawk production. Ed Heinemann's wish to shoehorn the Rolls-Royce Avon into the Skyhawk fell apart when a production licence was granted to Westinghouse who then decided to only produce (with Navy funding but without telling Douglas ) a six-tenths scale version as the XJ64 giving less thrust than the J65!
However, by 1955 the Navy BuWeps had decided to fund the promising Pratt & Whitney JT8, essentially a scaled-down JT3 or J57 and by 1957 the resultant J52 was running sweetly on the bench and Ed Heinemann could plan growth versions of his brilliant 'Bantam Bomber'. At about the same time the Navy were hinting that perhaps a more flexible machine was required than the high-altitude nuclear bomber of the original A4D requirement and the increased thrust of the J52 meant that two more stores pylons could be added and higher gross weights permitted.
Douglas had planned to introduce the engine in the A4D-3 (A-4D) and A4D-5 (A-4E) variants but the US Navy cancelled the A4D-3 in 1959 and slowed the A4D-5 programme down. Douglas then looked at export opportunities resurrecting the A4D-3 designation to produce a multi-role fighter version later designated the A-4D which introduced the new J52 engine rated at 8,500lbs thrust plus a small and simple multi-mode radar. Oil-rich Dhimar became the launch customer ordering 60 A-4D's in 1961 and these were delivered in early 1963 initially to No.6 Squadron of the Dhimari Air Force who operated the type until 1982.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the A-4Dh folder into your Aircraft folder.
2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the A-4Dh folder into your Decals folder.
That's it!

CREDITS
As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim.
Special thanks to salvatorestupido for the USN Aggressor skin used for the No.7 Squadron machine.
And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.
