1680 x 1050 Mainscreen modification for SF2 (EXP2b Dec 2010)
 
Just a first & simple attempt to make the SF2 series GUI more attractive, after my failed attempts to convert various nice menu mods for SF1 series (especially Kout's) or the very nice stock WOE one, for SF2.
 
This is just a generic main screen modification (having Europe in mind). If i have time and won't loose interest in this, i may try extend the modification to specialized versions for Vietnam, Israel, Europe and go even further with the changes and work in all screens as well.
 
Till then i am including the .PSD file also, feel free to play with it, (eg change the background image to your taste)

This is a Tweak to make more of Thirdwires Stock Aircraft flyable in the Europe 1956 Campaign.
 
Added Aircraft (All are Flyable in Campaign if cockpit is added, instructions below)
 
USAF: A-1H, F-84F, P-51D
RAF: Canberra, Spitfire9e, Spitfire 9c, Vampire9
France: F-84F, P-51D
 
Contains the Campaign fix for the F-100A Super Sabre.
Warsaw Pact Air Force now also operates a few Squadrons of Spitfires,
used as standins for Soviet Props.
 
Just unzip into your merged Strike Fighters 2 Folder.
You need at least SF2: Vietnam and SF2: Israel Exp 1 for this mod.
Only tested on fully Merged Installation.
 
You have to make the aircraft flyable by yourself. To do this, simply copy the line:
CockpitDataFile=Hunter6_cockpit.ini
into the .ini of the Aircraft you wish to make flyable.
 
Oh, and Good Luck if you choose to fly the P-51D. You are going to need it.

Shahak Alternative Scope Radar Version 1.0 (November 2010) for Strike Fighter 2 Israel.
 
 
This is my first attempt in order to create an alternative Scope Radar for the Thirdwire "Shahak" fighter aircraft.
 
 
To install it, you must extract the "Cockpit" folder of the RAR archive.
 
 
If you are under Windows Vista or Windows 7, put it in: Saved Games/ThirdWire/SF2I/Objects/Aircraft/Shahak.
 
 
Last year I saw a Mirage IIIC cockpit picture. Then I decided to try to modify the Thirdwire Shahak scope radar "bmp" file.
 
 
My little "work" needs improvement. But I would like to share this first version with you!!!

This is an update for the Stock Thirdwire F-84F for StrikeFighters 2 (latest standart).
Addet new Tanks. some Parts on the model and some ini changes done.
 
This Mod is optimizrd for the latest SF2 Standart (Exp. Pack 2)
 
Addet:
- Wing Pitot (pressure probe) for the J-65-W-7 Engine
- New Drop Tanks
- New Weapons
- New Hangar & Loading Screens
- 2 New USAF Skins
- 12 New West-German Skins (All Units covered)
- 11 New Armée de l'Air Skins
- addet Zurawskis F-86 cockpit to make the F-84F flyable
- Edited the inis (Loadout, Data)
Skins are all in High Rez.
User with a not so powerful system should resize the Skin bitmaps to 1024x1024.

This is simple addition of two more seasons (fall, winter) for my Formosa visual update mod. Created as simple 4-seasons tileset test for other project, I decided to upload it for everyone wanting to have "full seasons" tileset for this excellent map. Or to use it in other, more appropriate (climate wise) theatres.
 
"Formosa Strait Taiwanhaixia" map was created by Gepard. Remember there are great fixes by Wrench, The. Apply these
 
To install simply extract this package and move the files from the Formosa folder to
your choosen Strike Fighters 2 MOD folder/terrains/Formosa folder, overwrite when asked.
 
As this is just simple tiles pack, should work with Series1 too, but I don't have any installed at the moment to confirm.
 
And sorry for not releasing it in DDS format, it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks

MiG-21 LanceR A & C updated update.
 
 
This is an update of dtmdragons LanceR A & C for StrikeFighters 2.
Addet new Tanks and did some ini changes.
Now you can open manual the canopy (animation 10)
select the Romanian Blue Tanks
And i addet 2 New Skins (Done by me & Bobrock).
I made new Hangar & Loading Screens
 
I made also alternate Hangar & Loading Screens for wide screens.
They are in the "Alternate_Widescreen_Hangar_Loading_Screens" folder.
