+daddyairplanes Posted October 1 Author Posted October 1 nah not prescription. just attention. seems i gotta scroll down further now to get the old school emojis(emoticons) Quote
+Erik Posted October 1 Posted October 1 At the top of the editor there's a link that says "Categories" Click that and it will open a panel that allows you choose the set. I can play around with the order later but that's the quick way you don't have to scroll through all the emojis. Filed for stuff to do later. Thanks. 1 Quote
VonBeerhofen Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Good job Erik, that was pretty quick! Thx. VonBeerhofen 1 Quote
Wrench Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Excellent!! I can't send enough thanks to The Boss for all his hard work!!! 2 Quote
+Menrva Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Fantastic update! Thank you so much for working on it, @Erik. I noticed that some details about accounts seem to have been reset. Badges are something new, but it feels off to see myself and other long-time members with the Newbie badge alone. I guess we can feel young again 1 1 Quote
+GKABS Posted October 1 Posted October 1 (edited) These past days I felt lost without the site. It felt like I have been waiting forever to login. Edited October 1 by GKABS 4 Quote
+Erik Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Some things didn't move over very well like images in signatures, some moved because they were put in as attachments and other's were links and the links are now broken. So feel free to update your signatures. I have a newbie tag so don't feel bad. Yeah I need to sort that out but it's a low item on the totem pole at the moment. Remember back to the days when shit didn't hurt, doctors were the furthest thing from your mind, girls actually wanted to hang out with you, and be happy. 3 5 Quote
Trotski Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Great job !!! Looking forward to when everything is working, I admit to being a bit lost when it was offline, but now its back I feel safe in my comfort zone again hehehehhehehehehehe 1 Quote
Hans Topp Posted October 1 Posted October 1 I miss everyone this time, its hard to have a nice site with nice people and wait the upgrade 1 Quote
+Erik Posted October 1 Posted October 1 The more you guys use the place and click around it helps me spot code problems and bottlenecks in apache, php, and mysql. So post some photos, give some replies. Let me know if the snappy goes away and we'll make some changes. The real test will be when files comes back online, that'll be a fun day. 4 1 1 Quote
abrahamwright2201 Posted Thursday at 10:12 AM Posted Thursday at 10:12 AM It’s back great thanks, when do you think files will be back? Quote
EricJ Posted Thursday at 06:25 PM Posted Thursday at 06:25 PM I know I don't miss the constant barrage of ads when going to pages. I mean I always expect it now but thankfully that's gone. 2 Quote
+Erik Posted Thursday at 06:29 PM Posted Thursday at 06:29 PM Those ads pay us roughly $100 a month consistently. If we made that income somewhere else I'd drop them entirely but yes I haven't put ads back into the templates. Low priority right now. 1 Quote
EricJ Posted Thursday at 06:39 PM Posted Thursday at 06:39 PM Okay can we get a new Owner then? Lol gotcha, understood. Quote
+Erik Posted Thursday at 07:17 PM Posted Thursday at 07:17 PM I don't have enough money to buy a new owner. Quote
KJakker Posted Thursday at 08:01 PM Posted Thursday at 08:01 PM Are those ranks going to fill up for people who have been around for awhile? Quote
+Erik Posted Thursday at 08:36 PM Posted Thursday at 08:36 PM Yes, that's a frilly thing that I can mess with later. I'm still working on getting the meat and potatoes back on the plate. Member's attached files are now back online so that's a good thing. I just pray when the files all show up I don't have any of them disassociated with member's accounts. The horror that would be. Back to work. Quote

Seriously I think Erik does a bang up job, but gotta rib him a bit. My cat? Well, she deals with it too lol 1 Quote
+Erik Posted Friday at 04:31 PM Posted Friday at 04:31 PM We're working through an SSL Certificate issue on the primary machine running port 80 (web browser) traffic. The issue has been identified and I'm waiting on a datacenter resolve since one of the machines has to be consoled. This is something that was migration/transfer related and unforeseen. Please bear with us as the site is being brought back. Remind me next time we do this to buy more scotch. 4 Quote
