+Piecemeal Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Just one more screenshot before I hit my bunk. I guess we're all a little more than hungry for SF2I at this stage, so to stave off my impatience I decided to do some 'experimentation'; this is the stock WOI Mirage IIICJ with the SF2 Libyan Mirage 5D skin. With some minor modifications to the skin, it's rather fetching to the eye don't you think?
Spinners Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 @ ultramax - yes that is nice! Eurofighter Typhoon Mk.57 - Royal Dhimari Air Force
DaniloE31 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 - You've been hit! Eject, eject!!! You're in flames! - Negative. I'm not going to jump before I reach the beach. That's what I call a brave AI Soviet Pilot.

Thuddriver Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I believe that is called the JP233 runway denial munition - but I could be mistaken.
+Florian Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 (edited) It´s the MW-1, a really not funny dispenser, when your in the target area! Picture of the MW-1 in use. Short description on Wiki Edit:Thuddriver, the JP233 is indeed the same weapon system, but has a different shape and was used by the Royal Air Force. Edited October 9, 2009 by AmokFloo
ChrisBV Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I caught this one in the open and took its rudder and half of its horizontal stabiliser off with a short 30mm burst. While it didn't go down, the pilot jettisoned his ordnance and apparently decided that such encounter was enough for one day... ... so me and my wingman started following him. I stood next to his port wing for quite some time: That was some serious eye contact, right there The plan was to 'escort' him out of the engagement zone but all of the sudden, what was remaining of his tailplane came off on its own and the aircraft began spinning out of control. The pilot ejected, though...
