Home built cockpits

Hi everyone thought i'd start a topic about home made (build) cockpits has i've  just updated mine .So some info on mine it's modular the sides and the top interlock there a bass speaker fixed under front . Two 6x9 speakers mounted one each side 32 inch screen 1920x1080 at 75hz .The right panel is fake photo's laminated and stuck down The left panel is a real working panel i made myself .This panel has working gear lever and lights buttons for jettison tanks ,AA AG weapons ,emc ,brakes ,lights,speed brake ,hook ,chaff and flares...hope you like it

Is it strictly sidestick? Have you ever thought about some sort of pull out platform to allow it to switch to center stick?

I tried to keep mine simple, so just mounts for the HOTAS on a board I can move under the desk.

The  latest build of my cockpit .New x-55 rhino and on-board audio right side .Left panel updated new switches.. :)

Hi here the latest update on my pit 9" chopped off back new mfd's new clocks and dials coming soon made a vesa mount for speakers..

I had all those cockpits beat way back in 2008. The combination "Entertainment Console" had it all but took up too much space so I had to downsize. It's much more modest now.

Nothing but the best! The rabbit ears have been upgraded with a directional high def antenna, probably NASA gear as well.

The latest update  thrustmaster mfd's and a sound bar hope to rebuild cockpit frame when the world gets back to normal :)

   Aren't you afraid you'll loose your beer in that mess?

   Nice idea for mounting your throttle and joystick.  I've been considering using pvc for a frame system but not quite as big as your pipes.

Spent alot of time trying to create an efficient cockpit I can put away when done flying. Until I can build a true cockpit, this is what I got...
