Speaking of testing/experimental schemes.. I have some weird feelings(in favor of them) towards them. 

Maybe I'll make some flight test skins for my favourite aircrafts after I've learnt how to make one. In the meantime, mandatory:

Marine Attack Training Squadron 203, stationed in Cherry Point but exercise in the south west..

My imagination of Marines doing SEAD, loadouts could be unrealistic..

@Soulfreak – that looks outstanding.   Look at that attention to detail; side stenciling, placards, texture gradient/weathering, just love it!  I know not everyone appreciates these kinds of details but it looks terrific.   I guess I owe a picture since I responded here in the screenshot thread, so here's something similar in detail as we work to at long last to finalize the Thud after many years... but just to be clear the push buttons are inop (LOL).

The F-35A sure can attack somewhat stealthily, but I wouldn't recommend taking it down low.

Just a routine reconaissance mission, but four old Fishbeds had other plans for us...

Screenshots taken while testing out my little idea.

 

Missiles are the 65Ds from Ravenclaw's great AGM-65 pack, the test plane A-7K by Mirage Factory. For the smoke effect, I borrowed from tiopiloto's Strela-2 MANPAD..

Several lines in the AGM-65D_data.ini had been changed:

This results in a nice smoke trail which disappear once the sustainer is burnout. Without the MissileInFlightEffect the Maverick flies clean towards target.

You may or may not like it depends on personal thoughts. I find it a better gaming experience.

Just got into a Kuril Islands dogfight in some F-15Js... why?  Because I could and it's my next project after my Gripen project.  Obviously Flankers would be added to this project very early on.

 

With President Trump stepping on the gas to neo-isolationism and the Russians going expansionist, this just very well might happen... in 2020 or 2021.

The President of Japan's supposedly closest ally doesn't get a Yen unless it's to sell weapons and a Ruble only when building towers & funding sexcapades in Moscow.  So Japan is truly alone against the world for the first time since the summer of 1945.

But Japan unlike those dark days ending in two judicious blinding flashes as payback for Nanking & Pearl Harbor has now a deep stockpile of fuel & weapons with well-trained pilots & maintainers.  It's up to the 201st and 203rd Squadrons of F-15Js to hold the Northern line against the Red Tide until F-2s and F-35Js arrive to bomb the Flanker bases to oblivion or a diplomatic outcome can be reached - and highly unlikely any substantial help is coming.
