Black areas are where two polys are close together and cause dark areas like on aileron edges...either resmooth using the prevent indirect smoothing and adjust amount till happy..

or add poly to area where the two polys join

GKABS, while it seems a pain i do ask that you reconsider on the cockpit windows. there are some amongst us (more than just me ) that like flying the big birds in game. to paraphrase someone in another thread, "sometimes its more fun trying to do you mission and avoid the defenses than blasting away".

I have tried but keep getting weird shadows. But I will try aging I will search for more tutorials and I will get to work. :pilotfly:

that said, will you be doing a CFM powered version also? that brings in several other aircraft like the E-6, and Boeing iirc was doing that for most foriegn customers after the Saudis requested it on their E-3s, and KE-3s (which is a tanker based on the 707-320 airframe rather than the KC-135)

Having the base model that will be no problem to do the others too.

sorted...with windows just add polys remove polys etc till its ok and ur happy..glass is different...once you have it done you can still cut it and add polys to smooth it out as the extra vertices done need to weld to fuselage...thats the good thing with windows etc

this is for the 707?? There's quite a few of these types of birds that could use a "steam gauge" 4-engine cockpit** w/radar display.

or this is just the 'outside looking into the model' view???

either way, it's looking very good!!

** also some twin jets too! ie: airliner style side-by-side

Yes you are correct, this is just for the outside view I will be using one of the ready-made cockpits

The 707-320 is completed and was sent to the paint shop.

I will be working on the TAI Anka next to go along with the Bayraktar TB2.

Please any one have any blueprint or good photos that will be very helpful.
