I started working on the Kamikaze Shahed 136 drone, it's going to be a simple drone nothing big, but it will be interesting to shoot them down.

I mean it'll probably randomly show up for targets, or setup for BVR testing and the like, but yeah without the appropriate game logic, it's pretty much a target drone.

Nah, I will fix it up and have it fly like a drone but the setting will be like a long-range cruiser missile.

I can't remember which mod it was but in one of the WW2 champaigns the Japanese kamikazes were set up as dive bombers and their flight models were adjusted so they were unable to pull out of the dive.it ended up looking like they were intentionally crashing  into targets. I think adding an invisible bomb that they could release just as they hit would make them able to do real damage to targets. this is all from long ago memories so I'm not sure I have everything correct.

That is interesting I will definitely look at that idea.:ok:

SystemType=CONTROL_SURFACE
InputName=PITCH_CONTROL
...
MaxControlSpeed= <--- the speed at which the controls are blocked, in meters per second
LockOutSpeed=TRUE

If there is the "LockOutSpeed=TRUE" entry the MaxControlSpeed is the speed at which the control won't move anymore until the aircraft has slowed down.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

If there's not the "LockOutSpeed=TRUE" entry the MaxControlSpeed is the speed at which the control surface has the maximum effect (before the MachTable values apply). It's the setting for almost all the flight models.

I just completed the model and had the first test in the game after completing the work.  Next, I will send the files to Coupi, to work on the data files.  One last thing we had the pilot sitting outside to get a better view of the Su-35 and report back. :lol:

Not really a fan of the "modern jet era" - but have to take time out and say great job on that GKABS, it is looking really nice and keep up the good work!  :good:

A few small points (incomplete) to check on the Su-35:
The cockpit is of the Su-27 series, not a Su-35.
Also the Su-35S doesnt have "odd-rods" IFF antenna under the nose
The model is missing the forward-facing RWR antennas relocated on the wing leading edges
The chaff/flare dispensers are of a new type, holding 14 x 50mm cartridges, 2 outer rows of 5 and a center row of 4
The tailcone holds 2 additional downward-firing dispensers
Tailplane underside forward area is titanium like on the top
:smile:
