+GKABS Posted December 1, 2025 Author Posted December 1, 2025 Hello everyone, Last week, I received my PET scan report after sending it to my doctor in the UK for review. He mentioned that the results look positive compared to my condition before starting treatment, but there is still some FDG uptake in the lymph nodes. He suggested that this might be due to inflammation as my body continues to heal. The good news is that the FDG uptake is not as high as it was prior to treatment, which I hope is a promising sign. I’ll need to wait six months before getting another scan. Overall, I’m feeling happy and I'm working on getting my life back on track, no matter what the results may be. PS.FDG is a glucose analog that tends to accumulate in the tissue with high glucose demand, like tumors and inflammatory cells 11
Falcon1364 Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 That is excellent news. Thanks for sharing. 1
