Hello everyone,

Last week, I received my PET scan report after sending it to my doctor in the UK for review. He mentioned that the results look positive compared to my condition before starting treatment, but there is still some FDG uptake in the lymph nodes. He suggested that this might be due to inflammation as my body continues to heal. The good news is that the FDG uptake is not as high as it was prior to treatment, which I hope is a promising sign. I’ll need to wait six months before getting another scan.

Overall, I’m feeling happy and I'm working on getting my life back on track, no matter what the results may be.

PS.FDG is a glucose analog that tends to accumulate in the tissue with high glucose demand, like tumors and inflammatory cells

Great to hear about your progress Gkabs. Concentrate on the positive and hopefully you'll be 100% OK quickly. Enjoyment is a very powerful tool for recovery, so try to keep having fun and enjoy each new day as much as possible! My thoughts are with you and with all people having a hard time.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you, my dear friends, for the beautiful and supportive words you've shared with me. Your kindness not only brightens my day but also warms my heart in ways I can hardly put into words. Each message I've received feels like a ray of sunshine cutting through the clouds, reminding me how fortunate I am to have such wonderful people in my life. Thank you for being there, for your thoughtful notes, and for lifting me up when I needed it most.
