Version 2.3 GR.1, patch 2.3b
3,122 downloads
I used ianh755's updated V4.0 version of Dave & Sundowners original Tornado GR1 & GR4 series and F3 cockpit. All included models are optimized for . 1st, the most important thing. If you want to enjoy low level flying, you must change missioncontrol.ini file ! BACKUP ORIGINAL VALUES !!! Then use our missioncontrol, that you can find as archive in our pack. ======================================================================================= Patch 2.3 b -------------- We promise this is last patch for GR.1 ;-)) Now we are going for GR.4 . We corrected: 1) some bugs in cockpit 2) HUD (it's reworked to look more like real Tornado, thx to Fanatic Modder documentation) 3) AI attacks for british planes 4) removed Lightening pod from BL755 loadout for german ECR we added: 1) open canopy animation for cockpit view (thx ravenclaw for 3d lessons) PRESS -> SHIFT + 3 to see animation. 2) missed oil pressure indicators Patch 2.3 a -------------- We corrected: 1) Problem with wing tip vortex 2) Rudder secondary input 3) Landing speed 4) SPILS system settings 5) Fuel quantity for Saudi GR.1 6) Engines altitude power tables. 7) missing outer wing weapon stations for GR.1 82 8) ECM for brit and saudi planes moved back to pods from fuselage. we added: 1) New Sky Shadow 3d model We also did some small lift for steering sensitivity. ======================================================================================= Fanatic Modder's and Guuruu's Tornado GR.1 version 2.3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, This is really serious upgrade . Only Tornado GR.1, IDS and ECR are in this pack. What is new ? ------------------- We tried to get flight model as close to real Tornado as possible, so aerodynamic model is new . All planes have correct (reworked) engines, wing-sweep positions, max G for turning and new cockpits (with lots of working lights). We tested their acceleration, fuel consumption (it's still not perfect but better it was), turning and climb rate. We also added correct skin for Italian IDS 81 . Weapons are no longer separate download, also missioncontrol.ini is inside of pack. We decided to remove GR.4 from this files. She is far from finish and will be published as separate files. You will find 11 planes in this pack: RAF: ----- GR1 82 Early production GR1 90 Better engines, more weapons than 82 model (in fact it is GR.1B with Sea Eagles) I thought there is no sense to create same plane with only +Sea Eagles. GR1 90 DESERT STORM Simply GR1 90 with desert camo (plane and weapons) GR1A Recon version of GR1 90 Luftwaffe: ------------ GERMAN ECR HARM armed Tornado with Mk.105 engines GERMAN IDS 79 similar to GR1 82 GERMAN Marineflieger IDS (with Kormorans and HARMs) GERMAN IDS 06 which is continuation of Marine IDS after they were transferd to Luftwaffe. Italians: --------- ITALIAN ECR as german ECR but Italians didn't replace engines for Mk.105 and they use GPS JDAMS ITALIAN IDS 81 very close to german IDS, can use JP233 insteed MW1 Saudi Arabia: ----------------- SAUDI GR1 93 similar to british GR1 90 SKINS: -------- Every plane has only 1 skin. INSTALLATION: -------------------- We higly recommend to remove/backup all earlier versions of OUR(!) GR.1 or ECR Tornadoes. Then unpack this download and copy/paste (overwrite if needed) all files to your MODS folder . CREDITS: ------------- ALL CREDITS GOES TO: ianh755 Dave & Sundowners for great job they did with all previous versions ravenclaw_007 for WE-177, new weapons and german Tornadoes loads. Dave (again) for B61 bomb and nuke explosion from his B1B pack Sundowner (again) for Cockpit background comms sounds Jarhead1 for F3 cockpit bobrock for Tornado F3 and everybody we forgot ;-) Thx guyz. ALL BUGS ARE OUR . -

1 pointFlaming Cliffs 3 is the gift that keeps on giving. While I enjoy the clickable cockpits, my real gripe with the LOMAC/Flaming Cliffs series has always been the horrible flight models. The beautiful graphics were always betrayed by the way the aircraft flew in a dogfight or even during takeoffs and landings. As each FC3 aircraft has received an update to a professional flight model equal to the best of the DCS modules, it is like getting a $50 aircraft for free. I am really looking forward to the Su-33. The F-15C and Su-27S are fun, but flying the Su-33 from aircraft carriers will be a great place holder until the F/A-18C and/or F-14A become available. It will be fun to look for differences between the Su-27 and Su-33.

Pre-purchase Su-33 for DCS World Video: DCS Su-33 Deck Landing Tests (WIP) Su-33 mini demo Owners of DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3 will receive the Su-33 for FREE! Upon Early Access release of the Su-33 for DCS World, DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3 will be priced at $44.99 USD. Features of this upcoming Su-33 update include: Professional Flight Model (PFM) More detailed and accurate simulation of the wing control surfaces that include the leading and trailing edge flaps and the differential ailerons. In addition to the conventional differential stabilizers, canard behavior has also been improved for more realistic behavior. The Flight Control System (FCS) will automatically reconfigure itself depending on the flight mode. The adaptations that make the Su-33 aircraft carrier-capable have been updated and improved to include the wing-fold mechanism, reinforced landing gear struts, and the inclusion of high-gain nose wheel steering for use on crowded carrier decks. The physical mechanisms by which the arrestor hook engages the aircraft carrier arrestor wire has been greatly improved. Correct physics have been applied to the arrestor wire and its’ interaction with the aircraft. The engines now have a "special mode" that adds up to 12,800 kg of thrust (instead of the normal 12,500 kg of thrust). This mode also includes realistic operating time restrictions. A new FCS mode used when aerial refueling has also been implemented. When in this mode and the control stick is released, the aircraft will automatically maintain level flight. This FCS mode allows fine-control and thus making it easier to make contact with the tanker within a pitch range of plus or minus 5 degrees and of a roll angle of plus or minus 10 degrees. The Auto-Thrust Control (ATC) is used for automatic speed holding and can be fine-tuned with a set speed switch. This can be useful with landing on the carrier. The automatic collision avoidance system ("Uvod" mode) is now included and allows safe nap-of-the-earth flying. Announcing the P-51D: Charnwood Campaign Created by the same team behind the Spitfire: Epsom Campaign, work is moving rapidly on this historically-based campaign for the P-51D over Normandy in July 1944. The Charnwood campaign reproduces missions P-51D missions flown in support of the allied breakout of Normandy. Given the Mustang’s combination of air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities (bombs and rockets), this campaign will offer a wealth of mission types and challenges. Each mission is based on a real mission, down to weather, times, squadrons, mission tasks, and allied and axis unit placement. Coming Autumn 2017. Other screenshots available here. DCS 1.5.7 Update 1 for Steam This week we are updating the 1.5.7 version of DCS World for Steam and also offer two new campaigns: DCS World Steam Store Mi-8MTV2: The Border Campaign Trailer Video: The Border Campaign by Armen "The Border" is the storyline campaign of a Russian Air-Force pilot flying the Mi-8MTV2 helicopter inside DCS World. The player serves as a helicopter commander in the South Ossetia border area. In the course of 15 missions you’ll have to fly day and night sorties, deliver cargo and military personnel to remote outposts, land and pick up ground forces by helicopter, participate in special-forces raids conducted at the territory of the Republic. Features of The Border campaign: 15 adventurous single player missions. 206 voiced radio dialogues in the campaign's missions. Detailed mission briefings with flight plan pictures. Russian localization includes voiceovers and subtitles. English localization includes subtitles. The DCS: Mi-8MTV2 is required to be installed. A-10C: Stone Shield Campaign Trailer Video: A-10C Stone Shield Campaign A-10C: Stone Shield is a story-driven campaign that puts you in the cockpit of an A-10C Warthog as a USAF pilot assigned to the 445th Air Expeditionary Wing. In 2015 Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Russia have announced the start of the "Caucasus-2015" military exercise. Intelligence analysis later reveals that the exercises is actually cover for Russia forces repositioning to the Abkhazian territory and further escalating tensions in the Caucasus region. The 445th Air Expeditionary Wing and the 6th mechanized brigade have been deployed to Georgia as a response by NATO to counter Russia's military aggression against its peaceful neighbor. Prepare yourself to face with the following tasks: Providing precision airstrikes against enemy targets Supporting Special Ops teams in tracking down and capturing dangerous militants Providing on-call close air support for friendly forces and much more The A-10C: Stone Shield campaign offers you a variety of challenging missions in which you must not only act as a tank killer, but also operate as a sniper making one shot and one kill engagements. The DCS: A-10C Warthog is required to be installed. Sincerely, The Eagle Dynamics Team
