Bit of grass on the airfields. Effect is quite subtle. Can't get more hi-res (TGA otherwise too big). ..what do you think?

View File SF2 USAF F-35 redux Here's my rework of the original SF2 F-35A from FastCargo's F-35A/B/C Lightning II V 2.5 for SF2 pack. It includes USAF F-35A only, so there are no B/C or foreign operators versions (maybe I'll do them in the future). This pack was created and tested with full 5 merged install of SF2 with latest patch. My main objective was to make this aircraft more reallistic by reworking the skins (RAM coatings, panel lines etc.), loadouts and other minor .ini changes. The afterburner is changed to the Viper Burner by The Viper Team and the pilot is changed to the one with JHMCS. Following squadrons are included: 4th FS, 388th FW, Hill AFB, UT 31st TES, 53d TEG, Eglin AFB, FL 34th FS, 388th FW, Hill AFB, UT 58th FS, 33d OG, Eglin AFB, FL 61st FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 62d FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 63d FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 422d TES, 53d TEG, Eglin AFB, FL All aircraft numbers are real and come from this site: http://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/F-35/serials-and-inventory/airforce/USAF/ The default loadouts are all-internal. Presets with external stores are also included to use with in-game mission editor. Most weapons come from Ravenclaw's Weapons Pack 2. Loadouts do not include external fuel tanks as they are not used in real life. Reworked skin template based on DoctorWho's template is included. It is suitable for F-35A only. Feel free to create new skins, give me credit when publishing. Installation: Firstly, if you are new to SF2, please head to The Knowledge base and read about Mod Folders and installing mods. It is highly recommended to delete your previous version of F-35A from your Aircraft folder. After doing this, copy all the content of "To Mods Folder" folder to your mod folder. Overwrite when asked. Actually your problem is coming from the fact that you removed them from the data.ini. Put back all meshname, station, etc. information (or simply revert to the original data.ini). and if you not want anything on them to show up you can simply remove all entries after the AllowedWeaponClass= If that section is empty, nothing will be loaded and the game will hide the pylons by itself. But in order to do that it needs to have all the relevant names like "ModelNodeName=RightTankStation" accessible otherwise ill have no idea what to do with those (how to handle) and will display them always. Similarly in the loadout.ini leave empty the information after as such Loadout[01].WeaponType= Entries like move and such are not necessary.

And in 2018 the demand for at least one "red-side" aircraft has finally made the development road map...

Hello fellow flyers of First Eagles 2, Please find attached below an all-in-one zipped file of the latest works in progress by Geezer. Geezer may in the future return to work on these projects further, but he is currently busy with real life and other hobbies. However, he has kindly given permission to the First Eagles 2 community to release the latest versions of his works-in-progress aircraft. You will find included in the zipped folder various types and sub-types, also a couple of extra sounds, the latest sounds ini file for your Flight folder, and also a Read Me file that includes more info. on the latest FM tweaks for these models. Work on Geezer's models not released yet as works-in-progress happily continues behind the scenes. A great many thanks to Crawford, Coupi, Jeanba, and Mike Dora for continued input on these works, and of course a great thanks to Geezer for these beautiful models. (Note: the Pfalz D.III was also used in the middle eastern theater - suggested service dates for that theater are from about July to October of 1918.) Happy flying, Von S EDIT: Attachment removed, will be placed in separate post as "consolidated" file with all latest updates, for convenience.
