Simmers Paint Shop Color Chips 6/29/2025 With the loss of Simmers Paint Shop, a lot of fantastic information has been lost forever for those texture artists that like the ability to fully match the proper colors for any and (mostly) all eras and countries. Listed are not only the color chips, the the R/G/B and Hex values to (re)create them in your own image manipulation programs (GIMP, Photoshop, Paint.net, etc) These are given the US Federal Standard, and for Luftwaffe, the RLM converted to FS coding. I don't remember when I found these, but here they are. Included are the original png format images, and I've converted them to jpgs for easier viewing with various and sundry programs. Be advised, the images are QUITE large, so you'll need to zoom in on them. Included herein are chips for: Japan - IJN, IJAAF, JASDF Germany - Luftwaffe RLM/RAL UK - RAF British Standard Russia/Soviet Union - VVS colorlist USA - USAF, USN, US Army I hope you enjoy these, and make good use of them!!! Even though I uploaded to the SF2 category, these are usefull for any and all games or what-have-yous that you'd like to use them for!! :) Wrench Kevin Stein -
4 pointsI started a small update of the DRV terrain to bring it on SF2 standard and give it a better tileset. WIP Screenshot shows old and new tiles. The new tiles i have taken from Rio de la Plata terrain. They are basing on Green hell tileset.

4 pointssomething else it does weirdly ... I repainted the flags on this F-30 Frigate, as more than Spain uses them. (ya'll know my fetish for Easter Eggs...) anyway, here's what the TAE sees, vs that YOU see ingame. Very odd!! (exact same ship!!)

1 pointThanks for your message, I'll just answer here so all are in the loop....yes, as mentioned I plan to include a completely new USS Maddox. I'm not really a ship builder, but will try my best! Here is just first rough cut of mesh, hull, etc. - still long way to go.

1 pointSide note and SitRep: absolutely limited support and interest but extremely grateful to the few who answered the call! USS Maddox (DD-731) Sumner-class destroyer: In-Development: early scratch/base model with most basic mesh now created (e.g., hull, guns, etc.) USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14) Essex-class Aircraft Carrier: No options yet F-8 Crusader – U.S. Navy fighter jets from the USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14) carrier group: Under Development and heaviest focus right now North Vietnamese P-4 Torpedo Boat: Under Development and nearing completion

1 pointYes...but still all those mods are free...made by players. What makes that 100$ little too much in my opinion. Honestly, I would pay 100 for this, knowing that the game is still being cared for by developers. With current "care" status...I am not sure.

1 pointDear Friends, we are really happy to announce that, thanks to a few generous friends, ALL old YAP3 assets are now available FOR FREE in our new YAPR RW website, in the "Legacy" section: https://www.yap-revamp-works.com/legacy/ Since the old, official YAP3 website is malfunctioning and will probably crash with no forewarning, we also recreated all pages into our (apart for the last RS, SOH and DW pages for which we have different ideas). Side note: please consider that YAP3 and all other original episodes were created to work mainly with Windows XP and, later, also with Windows 7 but with a few issues. If you want to play them in Windows 10, in their original, non revamped version, we strongly advice to use the YAP3 Win 10 Patch you can fine in every single download page. Just follow the instructions. The YAP RW Team
