Considering the age of mod; access to DAT "products" (used loosely) was still available. It ain't so any more. They got mad, took their toys and went home. Then built their own version of the Iron Curtain (tm). We don't use their stuff, we don't talk about their stuff, and try not to have any of their stuff (although we do have some ini edits and skins in their own section of the downloads. Use at own risk). In other words, their existence is discouraged. So, now is the time to start learning basic modding, doncha think? If you don't have NA, well, you're just screwed on the Hawkeye. But yes, asking for someone share the LOD, is piracy. No ifs, ands, or butts. We don't condone it and will not tolerate it, and it's stated all over this site and has been for the last 15 years, and iirc, in the 'sign up' for when members join CA. I, personally, give ONE and only ONE warning for thing like this. So, consider that done. Moving along now ...

Hello everyone! I’ve been grinding for hours to make sense of these massive codebases, and I have an idea! I’m building a huge resource library with lists of class references and the functions handling strings. These will help us zero in on specific functions in Ghidra. Check out the examples: Avionics 60 Class List Avionics String List I’m working through each DLL, generating text files for all of them. It will take some time, but once done, I’ll start a new thread called "Advanced Modding" with the resource library. Eagle114th

I recommend you starting small, like making LCOS (HUD) not going beyond ViewportTopLeft and ViewportBottomRight, or anything very simple. That way we can take notes and map the funcitons / variables and what they do. From there, we can build more information from there to do bigger things. Next week, along with you guys, I plan on exploring the Ghidra and another tools to play with the DLL files. Eagle114th

i wanted to make the engine nozzle as 3D part but i was running in to problems with the fuselage and the lod size would increase to much , so i decided to just change the texture and make some minor changes like adding the inner nozzle and deepen the after burner area to the corecr size thats how they look like now this is the best i could come up with right now , maybe in the future i will get the 3d nozzle working like i want to and added to the aircraft

some update on the 3D model and the texture i added a new 370 gallon drop tank with more details and a new pylon for it i added anew LAU-7A launch rail with the correct length and more details new outer wing weapons pylon new inner wing pylon new 600 gallon drop tank ( nestable ) , i also have the welded version , the welded version will be used on early F-4E´s the nestable version on the mid to later F-4E´s and early F-4G´s the lod has now 9.34 MB , and i´m not yet done so the lod will further increase in size pictures where taken over a version from Rent´s Germany terrain , so far i dont have any problems may be a small hit on the FPS but no stutter or freezing what surprises me a lot given of the lod size , especially since i have been warned not to create lod´s with a large size and that since the beginning of my modding for SF2 given the fact that i´m still on an old computer , win-7 64 bit with 32 GB ram and an i7-4790k CPU and a RTX 3060 graphics card with 12 MB ram , i begin to wonder what are the limits with regard to lod size and large textures especially with new more powerful computers and graphic cards

Viper Dawn : First USAF F-16A Block 10s (for TW F-16A) This mod utilizes the stock TW F-16A Netz and previous work to represent the first three operational USAF F-16A wings (not the training wings). Featuring historical serial numbers for each unit, and markings to reflect the eras this is the most accurate skin representation of the early block (1/5/10) F-16s to date. I use the same TW model for all three as the biggest visible difference in the three was the black radome on the Block 1s. I represented this via decal for the appropriate serial numbers and they were all delivered to the 388th TFW in in 1979. Otherwise it would be impossible to distiguish between teh three models in game. Included - 2 363rd TFW skins for the 17th TFS "Owls" and 19th TFS "Gamecocks". Note the 17th would go on to rename as the Hooters after they transitioned to the C/D model F-16 - 4 388th TFW skins, represented these units in operation from the first USAF Vipers in 1979 until their transition to Block 15s in 1983 - 12 474th TFW skins. The 474th operated the Block 10 from late 1980 until the wing was disbanded in late 1989. These dozen skins reflect some of teh marking changes for the three squadrons over nearly a decade of service - weapons in use by the early Vipers in the early 1980s, with some ini tweaks by myself Required valid copy of Strike Fighters 2: Israel Instructions unzip, unload contents of "2 Mod folder" into mod folder of your choice. allow overwrites if needed NOTE: there are two previous F-16A Block 10 mods based on the TW model. this mod is based on them, but with improvement. because they leverage the TW model and are image and ini only, i have kept teh basic inis in this release for your convienence. But it was made much easier to create standing on their shoulders ****************NOTE*************** This mod heavily leverages decals that are meant for a Team Viper Block 10 set, and feature decals and number list entries for the B models as well. Due to lack of a TW two seat F-16, these are restricted by ini however, when a Team Viper Block 10 becomes available, the decal set here will be ready to go speeding up release of this skin set for the new models. Credits TW original game Dave, MigBuster original ini work to change up the stock Netz, templates ravenclaw_007 weapons daddyairplanes various ini edits, skins, decals. and research. a f ck ton of research i hope you enjoy this md ads much as i enjoyed creating it Kevin Unruh aka daddyairplanes 1 Nov 2024 ************************************************************* This is freeware; it CANNOT be distributed unless permissions are granted by myself. new textures for the AN/ALE-40 chaff / flare dispenser i decided to make the canopy part new , the old one was to edgy and did not look good with the rest of the aircraft old and new the panel lines on the front fuselage are almost done only some minor things are missing but it seams that i have some problem with the mapping , when i started to add the screws to the front fuselage i notice that on some parts of the front fuselage the screws appear larger then on the rest of the front fuselage , the screws on the template have the size of 5 pixels , so to make them smaller is almost impossible , dont know what to do with that mapping problem the new canopy section i mapped now for the 6th time and i´m still not happy maybe i have to let it like it is for the mean time until i find a way to fix this the top rear mirror is new , the mirror has the correct position now and is moving together with the rear canopy the mirror itself is slanted and a bit back in the housing like the original , the cockpit has some new textures as well making this new 4096 x 4096 templates is very time consuming and with each detail i add i get a new surprising result on the aircraft , mostly a very unpleasant surprise that needs a long time to fix and in some cases i even cant find a solution to the problem i just hope that all the work is worth doing one thing i did not expect was that i had to change or remodel so many 3d parts of the aircraft so the overall look is better and i´m scared like hell by just thinking that the wings are next and what surprises they have for me

Mirage F1CT standard T2 This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. The Mirage F1CT is a ground attack version of the Mirage F1C200. Following their replacement in the air defence role by the Mirage 2000, the French Air Force had a number of surplus Mirage F1C-200s, and in 1988 it launched a conversion programme to turn these aircraft into interim ground attack aircraft to replace elderly Mirage IIIEs and Mirage Vs. The Mirage F1CT program brought the avionics of the F1C up to the standard of the F1CR, with the radar upgraded with the additional air-to-ground modes of the Cyrano IVM-R, an improved navigation/attack system fitted, with a laser rangefinder fitted under the nose. It was fitted with new Mk 10 ejection seats, while improved radar detection and warning devices, chaff/flare dispensers, and secure radios were also added. It gained the ability to carry a variety of air-to-ground weapons, including rockets, cluster bombs and laser-guided bombs, while retaining the F1Cs air-to-air armament (Wikipedia). F-103 Mirage III Brazilian Air Force Install - Need Update July 2012, DLC Mirage IIIO (DLC Mirage IIIEL optional cockpit) History The history of the Mirage III in Brazil goes back to the sixties, when the FAB elaborated a modernization program and the creation of an air space control system. In 1967 the implementation started of the SISDACTA- Sistema Integrado de Defesa Aérea e Controle de Tráfego Aéreo (Integrated Air Traffic Control and Air Defence System) and of the COMDA-Comando de Defesa Aérea (Air Defence Command). As part of the program, it was necessary to acquire a supersonic aircraft to execute the air defence and interception missions. The FAB's initial desire was to obtain the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II, however it could not be materialised because of American restrictions on the sale of advanced military equipment to South American countries. With the Phantom out of the game, the remaining option was to look for an European fighter. Among the contenders were the British English Electric Lightning, the Swedish Saab Draken and the French Dassault-Breguet Mirage IIIE. About the same time, the Mirage IIIC, in the hands of the Israeli pilots, inflicted heavy losses to its Arabic neighbours in the 'Six Day War'. There is no doubt that the Mirage III's excellent performance, achieved by the Israelis in that war, helped Dassault-Breguet secure many clients around the world, including Brazil. Operational Career On April 11, 1979, the 1º GDA ( Primeiro Grupo de Defesa Aérea – First Air Defence Group) was officially established. On April 19, 1979, the 1º ALADA was disbanded and the 1º GDA took over its functions and F-103 aircraft. The 1º GDA remained stationed at Anápolis AB. During its operational career in Brazil, the Mirage III fleet suffered some attrition and many additional airframes were bought to replace the lost ones and to keep up the 1º GDA's combat readiness. In total, Brazil acquired 16 additional aircraft from Armée de L’Air surplus. These consisted of four F-103E in 1980, two F-103D in 1984, two F-103E in 1988, two F-103D and two F-103E in 1989, two F-103E in 1998 and the last two F-103D in 1999. The F-103 Mirage IIIEBR represented a tremendous leap to the Brazilian Air Force, being over thirty years of service and more than 65,000 flying hours. The versions of Mirage III acquired by FAB were developed primarily for air defense missions, but keep some capacity to act as platforms for ground attack. The engine was a SNECMA ATAR 09C, whose maximum thrust with afterburning reached 13,900 pounds (6305 kg), leading the aircraft a maximum speed of Mach 2.2 (2,350 km / h). The fire control system was based on radar Thomson-CSF Cyrano II, which originally operated the integrated air-to-air missile infrared Matra R530, later replaced by Israeli missile Python III. As arms fixed, the aircraft was equipped with two 30 mm DEFA. For navigation, the Mirage III FAB type Doppler systems used. In the early '90s, the FAB joined the Squadron's missions Jaguar air-ground attack, starting to use free-fall bombs and rocket launchers. Special thanks to Paulopanz and Coupi.
