  1. I havent seen anything in regards to this either - however you dont actually get this issue using a TrackIR so its not something I have noticed and I use the 3D view a lot.
  2. Thanks for that guys - very much appreciated Happy birthday to you Sakai - have a great day
  3. You can bump up the graphics settings like Effects - or try setting UseAdvancedShaders on in the options.ini
  4. Was ill at the time - when I switched the TV on no one seems to know what had happened - it was strange seeing this tall building with smoke coming out of it. The cameras were showing people above the fire looking out of windows - and I remember thinking that they should be okay if the Firemen can get through the fire. Seemed to think it was like the towering inferno - never thought for one second the building would collapse. When the second Airliner hit though it was suddenly clear what was going on - and watching the buildings going down live was truly shocking.
  5. Happy New Year chaps
  6. Never seen it in June 2010 - have just ran a test with AA-3s on an Su-15 Flagon A and they are fine. The fact that its not happening to the other textures tells us its prbably the weapon model or skin. Look in the AA-3 folder and check the skin, or the inis for any strangeness. Is the AA-3 in its own folder or scattered about in the old format? See if you can get hold of another AA-3 and see if it does the same
  7. Wow - has he ever been in an Aircraft - or seen one in real life even - I'm guessing he's flying alright and he doesn't need a jet to get that high.
  8. Happy Birthday to you

  10. Well you can always just copy the MiG-25s folder from NF4 and plonk it in your current install with the weps you need. High end systems need to turn the settings down with SF2 so I would defo expect it needs to be done on a Laptop. The radar settings can all be changed in the avionics.ini Brake parachute was part of the model - not an ini edit I think.
  11. Interesting question - I suppose Modern and WW1/WW2 AI can get away with horizontal turning fights without most people noticing. Ironically I have had experience of such things in Wings Over Israel - Enemy jets have always been better at not getting into slow turning fights. MiG-23s sometimes engaged me at high speed and kept their energy high - this is still not perfect - but better than them slowing down into a futile turning fight - what happened to those guys!
  12. Fantastic F-4 Phantom II Tribute - done in a version of Falcon 4 I know - but one of the best Ive seen - ! The soundtrack is also something else!
  13. At a guess - I would say it needs objects that SF2I doesnt come with. What gamne was that terrain made for?
  14. Great - glad to see its still being developed
  15. The problem is there - its discussed earlier in that SIMHQ thread and he does have a few valid points that I'm sure TK will try to address. The friendly AI in SF2 (may not be as noticable in SF1) will engage enemy jets in flat horizontal turns regardless of their jet or the enemies - so if the jet is a MiG-15/17/19, Vampire, or Meteor they get slaughtered without fail. (this is on all Hard settings btw)
  16. Using that analogy would suggest there is a ground breaking leap in technology from 4 to 5? An upgrade could also be Lightning F.mk1 to Lightning F.mk2
  17. Good news - so Islam isnt all bad after all
  18. Yep - thats the SF2 mod path on XP
  19. Set the shadows to low or medium for a start - then maybe tone down ground objects

  21. haha - An honest Sales pitch - theres no such thing!
  22. They have the same radar - its even this way in Falcon 4
  23. Looking very promising - I might even buy it if it comes out
