      Mig- 19S

      Hunter 6, Hunter 73

Before installing the campaign, the Arab aircraft or cockpits must be downloaded from combatace site and installed in SF2 Israel.

    2. This mod is a quick fix to revise the default camouflage skin to have the early tail codes.
I have used the stock silver skin tail numbers and added the "USAF" above them using a stock Third Wire "USAF" decal.
I have included an Excel spreadsheet listing the tailnumbers included and documenting as much as I know about that tail number.
I have also inlcuded jpg files from the internet that show what quite a few of them really looked like.
There are three basic variations: all white, black "USAF" with white number, and all black.

This is a completely separate skin so it does not overwrite any of the stock skins.
It is a copy of the default camo skin with ini edits to use the new tail codes.

To install this, simply copy the "Objects" folder extracted from this download to the "Objects" folder of the desired install's mod folder.
This pastes in the new skin for the F-105D and F-105D_66 as well as a new folder for the F-105 tail number decals.

This mod may be used by anyone to do anything as long as it does not involve payware.
The base decals were stock Third Wire decals, so they definitely should not end up being reused in any form of payware.

Update for SF2:War For Israel Campaign Mod. Works with Dec 2010 Patch Only.

      V1.0F update
You do not need this if you Downloaded the v1.0F
      War For Israel Campaign file.

This will be a Cumulative Patch from here on.
Hopefully only to enhance rather than to Fix.

      v1.0b:
Fixed the Mig-21MF Skin Directory name.

Fixed some weapons so that FireEffect shows up in
      new version of SF2 series.

Changed Mig-29C Syrian skin for EricJ's "Syrian
MiG-29C Desert Splinter skin" to reflect campaign
      region. Nice Skin.

Updated the TextureSet.ini for the German Mig-29C.
And Changed the Pilot in the MIG-29C_DATA.ini.

Changed The F-15D data ini Nation to ISRAEL. I know
these would be F-15I's but it's to long to Explain.

Steam and wake effects for Carrier should work.

      v1.0F:
This is a cumulative patch with 1.0b integrated.
Added the Squadronlist to the PilotData dir as required.

Added effects to *data.ini's for aircraft.

This was already in the campaign, but not flyable before.
tweaked enemy squadron count a little but still a busy Campaign.
Fixed F-16I Sufa NoJettisionTank so external Tanks eject.
      Added missing Mig-21 engine sounds.
      Several F-15 fixes.
      Several A-10A fixes.

      Install:

Delete the "Mig-21MF" Folder and all the "F-15s" Folders in the Mod "Aircraft"

Folder. Delete all the *.bmp's in the Campaign Mod Folder if using Original

1.0 Campaign or the 1.0b update Download. Drop the Folders from the Update

into the "StrikeFighters2WarForIsrael" Mod Directory and let it Overwrite.

    4. Smaller tracer dots for SF1/2

This mod will downscale the size of bullets to 1/4 of the original, making a more authentic and "Jane's series" feel.

      Installation
      ------------
      place under /objects/ folder

      Note
      ------
Please note a tracer is released between every 5 bullets by defualt. If you want to see more tracer, open the DATA.ini file of an aircraft or ground object, find the {internalgun} or [gun] section, then type.

      TracerLoading=2

This will allow to release a tracer every 2 bullets, giving you a much denser feel.

Elek said: "On the right side of the planes, the numbers are indeed in Arabic,
but the letter should also be in Arabic.
It should be the letter "lam" which is the equivalent to the letter "L" in English. They do look similar."

He send to me the "lam" font and I have redone the decal set following his hints.

      Thanks Elek.

    6. UH-1H Bushranger Gunship for SF2
      By Harry Leith

This aircraft represents the Bushranger Gunship version of the UH-1H Huey helicopter operated by the Australian Defence Forces. It is fitted with 2x M134 Miniguns and 2x Rocket Launchers fixed forward.

I haven't been able to model the mountings for the weapons, so the LAU/3 rocket pods just sort of hang in space alongside the aircraft, and the miniguns can't be seen at all. However they do work, which is the main thing!

This mod has been tested in a merged install of SF2. Weapons are in SF2 format. I haven't modified the FM at all from the original release, so I make no guarantees about flight performance.

      Installation.
This package is only a partial mod. It requires you to have the Australian Army UH-1H Huey by Richard "Gramps" Kaminski already installed. You can find it here:

      http://forum.combata...rmy-uh-1h-huey/

This mod contains replacement aircraft data files for that helo, adding the weapons and converting it to the Bushranger gunship variant.

Copy the following files to the UH-1H folder located in the Aircraft directory inside the Objects folder in your game install, replacing the originals.

      UH-1H.ini
      UH-1H_DATA.INI
      UH-1H_Loadout.INI
      UH-1H_BUSHRANGER_LOADOUT.tga

There is also a M134 folder for the M134 miniguns which should be placed in the Guns folder in the Objects folder. If the Guns folder doesn't already exist in the Objects folder, you can create it. This weapon is in SF2 format, so will not work for SF1 users.

      Credits
I have left the original read-me file intact with this install.
