      (I used some oldder version Su-30SM's tex for some parts of mine work,I dont really remember who made that but Thank you for your work!!!)

    5. F-4E AUP Phantom II, HAF

      F-4E Phantom II AUP, Hellenic Air Force Mod
       
      A Stand-Alone aircraft for WoI (but usable in ALL versions of the game - read on!)
       
      This package will create a complete, 'nation specific' aircraft; the F-4E Phantom II AUP as used by the Hellenic Air Force. Right now, it uses the WoI avionics70.dll, and has a fully functional HUD, CCIP, multi-mode A-A radar, and a Ground Mapping radar. As you all should know by now, the GM radar ONLY works in WoI with the HUD and whatnot. This aircraft, however, IS still usable in SF/WoV/WoE, with a modified avionics ini, which I've supplied. Full instructions are in the "To Install" section below.
       
      This a completion of a pack started by Sundowner, and he supplied me with the Hi-Rez Ghost skin, and a bunch of inis, along with the Ghost Gray camo 370 & 600 gallon drop tanks -- you WILL be adding these, so get your Weapons Editor warmed up!!
       
      -- NOTE: these are HI-REZ skins; 2048x2048. For those with older, slower machines or those with smaller vid cards, you might want to resize the skin bmps down one step to 1024x1024. You =WILL= loose some detail, but it's a trade off you sometimes must make. --
       
      All I've basically done, is some ini tweeks for loadouts and some extreamly small changes. They ARE correct serials as issued to these Phantoms, but I cannot claim 100% historical accuracy as to which squadron had which number set.
       
      A new Hangar screen is included, based of Ant's original; it's WoI style one, even though I've left the SF/WoV/WoI style in, for when the Patch comes out for those other games, you can just use that one. It's called "woe_F4E_HAF_Hangar.bmp". So, you can choose, depending on your game, which to use.
       
      It is set up to use either of the weapons paks; the Bunyap Pak or Mirage Factory, or even NONE at all!!!
       
      Remember: this is designed for use in WoI =ONLY=, because at present, it's the only avionics70.dll that supports HUD/CCIP and Ground Mapping radars. It is probably usable in the others, but not with the WoI-style avionics ini. To that end, I've created an SF/WoV/WoE version, called -obviously- "woe_F4EAUP_AVIONICS.INI". See install instructions for further information. If used in anything OTHER than WoI, it is reccomened you use this modded ini, or run the risk odd game crashes.
       
      I'd like to thank Sundowner for trusting me to complete and release this package. Ant gets 98.6% of the credit; the remainder is mine! After all, he DID all the hard work with the skin; and I gotta tell ya, the detailing on it is superb; as we've come to expect.

    6. Malta 1942, a campaign for WoA

      The first half of 1941 had been a hard time for the Allied defenders of Malta, when the Luftwaffe could devote several of its best units to pound the island, sink any ship within nearby waters, and decimate the small fighter force of outperformed Hurricanes. As Germany turned its attention Eastwards with Operation Barbarossa, the RAF could recover, then take a more offensive stance, putting threatening pressure on the Axis convoys to Libya, and even striking targets in Sicily.
       
      Nonetheless, by the end of the year, as the operations East were getting stuck in the Russian Winter, it was decided to move again large numbers of Luftwaffe units to the Mediterranean Front, in order to eliminate the RAF striking force, and to bend the Maltese morale under the weight of bombs.
       
      As the valiant defenders of Malta were to face this renewed enemy effort, the Axis leaders began to meet and plot an invasion of the island by air and sea, intended to remove once and for all this thorn from their flank. By the end of April 1942, this Sword of Damocles over Malta would have a name: Operation Herkules..

      This is my third campaign for Wings over Africa, the free add-on by The Dev A-Team that enables you to re-enact the air war over the most legendary battlefields of the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations. In this mod, Baltika had already provided campaigns over Malta covering the epic years 1940 and 1941. This 11-months-long campaign, running from December 1941 to November 1942, completes a trilogy, encompassing some of the most dramatic moments of the siege, when Malta was the closest to be dominated in the air before Spitfires were finally delivered, the closest to be strangled with Allied supply convoys repeatedly decimated or driven away, and finally the closest to be doomed as the Axis leaders planned very seriously for Summer 1942 the naval and aerial invasion of the island, codenamed Operation Herkules.
       
      Four additional downloads will be required to play this campaign (the links are included in the ReadMe file, registration at Capun Skunkworks needed). The modified files provided here allow several flyable units to display their original markings, and activate some Sardinian and Tripolitanian bases and targets on the Tunisia map as soon as the beginning of the campaign. A French translation of the campaign texts is also included.

    10. Parani Skin for the J-20 Chinese Stealth Fighter

      Uploaded as a request by my mate Canadair, this is a simple mod of the skin that comes with the superb J-20 Chinese Stealth Fighter recently released by 'The Insky Group'. All I've done is toned down the white walkway markings and added Parani decals. I think you'll need WOI for the stock 'ARABIC3WHITE' decals. Hopefully, I've got the decal pathway correct, forgive me if I haven't but I don't normally upload skins and I'm a stranger over here in the SF1 section.

      If you have my old F-15 Active mod (using addon canards) this will totally replace that directory. I would recommend deleting the old F-15 ACTIVE directory so as to not cause conflicts.
       
      Though this has a lot of stuff from the Mirage Factory, it is NOT a Mirage Factory product as it doesn't meet their standards. If there are problems, it's my fault, not theirs.

      What you will need first:

      The WeaponEditor appropriate for your install. You NEED to know how to use it to get the properly colored external tanks.
       
       
       
      Notes and limitations.
       
      The F-15 ACTIVE (originally the F-15 S/MTD) is a modification of a preproduction F-15B used to test various technologies to increase short field abilities, manuverability, and enhanced flight control systems.

      Two LODs are included, the F-15a.LOD (in use) and the F-15ad.LOD, which is for those computers that can run it...it's mainly used to smooth out any decal issues if you decide to customize later. But be warned, it can crash computers that can't handle it.
       
      This model was modified from wpnssgts F-15D, which in turn came from Flying Toaster's original F-15 model. As such, it also means that the skins for the MF F-15D will pretty much work normally, except for the canards. I'll leave it to you to figure out where the mappings are for those.
       
      The following modifications have been made to the visual model:
      1) Canards
      2) Movable nozzles for thrust vectoring
      3) Drooping ailerons when flaps are extended
      4) Minor cosmetic changes
      5) I did NOT add the pitot boom...mainly because that's a test aircraft thing only...and I can see future mods coming from folks showing the ACTIVE in service. Plus, I just didn't like it.
       
      The flight model incorperates the following:
      1) Independent thrust vectoring (NOT pitch linked). Range is 20 degrees nose up to 2 degrees nose down. Done this way due to limitations of sim and AI.
      2) Canards, including increased pitch up authority and increased yaw ability (symmetric and asymmetric movement)
      3) Drooping ailerons with flaps for better short field performance.
       
      As of right now, the AI will not take advantage of this increased ability, mainly due to my relative newness to the FM world.
       
      The handling is overall similar to the F-15D Eagle, however, your alpha and yaw abilities at low airspeed are significantly better. However, that also means that you can put yourself into a corner if you are not careful. Also, in Hard mode, a low to high rapid alpha pull will induce a right bank...this does not happen in Normal mode. Yaw (rudder) must be applied with discretion...the aircraft will depart if you leave it in too long.
       
      Finally, because the aircraft has increased alpha ability, it will happily stay at 60 degrees pitch below 100 knots all day...right into the ground. Don't be thinking you can do a loop on immediate takeoff and just keep the stick back the whole time...
       
      This is FREEWARE only, NO money is allowed to be made on the contents of these files, in whole or in part.
       
      Because this file has a lot of stuff that is not mine, it is not currently freely redistributable. This is an exception to my normal policy. I hope to change that condition soon...in the meantime, please honor the requests of the folks who contributed to this mod to not redistribute it without getting permission first.

    12. Persian Gulf Terrain

      This terrain is written for SFP1, but should work properly with WOI,WOV and WOE.

      I. Short description:
       
      This terrain covers the most parts of the Persian Gulf from Strait of Hormuz to the oil fields of Bandar e Khomeni. It includes the coastal region of the Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and the coastal region of Saudi Arabia. Kuwait and Iraq are NOT included in this terrain, because an other terrain (Desert Storm) is already covering this area.
      At the moment Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the western part of Iran are ready for action in this terrain. Ground combat you will see on iranian soil, mostly in the Busher area.
      At the UAE and the eastern part of Iran only airfields are operational, no other targets. This will come with the next update.
      The tiles of the street network are only placeholders. I'm not satisfied with them. They will also replaced.
      There are some other issues which still have to be done. Dont forget. Its a beta release at the moment.

      2. Iran is nearly finished. Rivers, towns, villages, bridges, some factories, ports, oil fields, Scud launchers, coastal defence missile launchers are set on the map. A SAM network around Bandar Abbas in the southeast of Iran ist installed now

      II. INSTALLATION:
       
      Unzip all files into your StrikeFighters/terrain folder.
      Put folder Silkworm into your objects/groundobjects folder.

      For WOI open file Persischer Golf.ini with notepad editor
      overwrite line
      CatFile=..\desert\desert.cat
      with
      CatFile=..\IsraelME\IsraelME.cat
       
      For WOV open file Persischer Golf.ini with notepad editor
      overwrite line

      Then you must download a tileset which is made for SFP1 desert terrain and install into the Perischer Golf folder. Be aware, that there are 19 new tiles, so that your terrain could be look something strange.

      This is a major update and extension of my "Enhanced Explosions" effects pack.
       
      If you've been using original Enhanced Explosions, you know what to expect -Hollywood style cinematic explosions, created to give TK's sims
      a blast. Also I still enjoy old "Jane's ATF" very much, and I missed some of it's spectacular fire in the sky lately.
       
      New stuff included is mostly about ground strikes and various air2ground weapons effects.

    14. Rudimentary VASI for WOV

      Rudimentary "Visual Approach Slope Indicator" mod by Ryder7 for WoV sfp1. beta version.
      This mod adds a somewhat "VASI" light system to all WOV runways.
      I wish I could rotate the lights verticaly so I might have been able to duplicate a proper VASI and/or PAPI light systems, meaning that some lights would only show up above glide slope whereas others would only show up below glide slope,  but since I could only rotate lights horizontally, I had to try something less realistic, but somewhat working and very simple in fact:
      In my system, you have two sets of lights, yellow ones are close to your estimated landing point, whereas red ones are located 400 meters before and 20.96 metres higher, so they look perfectly on line when you look at them from a 3 degres slope angle... Well, if my trigonometry is not wrong, school was a long time ago I'm affraid.

      Additionally, I put two sets of each lights, one left, one right on both runway headings, which provides you both alignment and glide slope visuals for low visibility situations, making it some sort of rudimentary not super accurate but better than nothing alternative for no ILS system in those games.
      //
      Limitations:
      -On night landing, those lights may look blurry and somewhat mixed with already existing runway lights at certain distances.
      -The closer you come to the runway, the less accurate this system becomes so you'll have to rely on your training for those last feet/meters before touchdown. This actually looks a bit like a real ILS antenna thing BTW.
      -On some cockpits and/or some aircrafts it may be difficult to see the lights while maintaining proper AOA/attitude/descent rate. (internal views only)
      -Also, depending on your display settigns, you may want to zoom the cockpit POV at its max level (F3 or F4 keys) in order to see those lights, but this makes it more difficult to watch your instruments in the same time.
      Well, this is not perfect, but I hope you'll give this mod a try and have as much fun landing with it than I got from making and testing it. I wish again it was possible to rotate vertically those runway lights, and also I wasn't able to add light to the carrier, it would have been fun to add some sort of "meatball-OLS" for carrier ops. Hopefully, more talented modders than I may come with solutions.
      Personal notes and thanks:
      This was my first mod ever published for those games whereas i spent so much time playing and messing with mods years ago. I moved for Falcon BMS that is incredible, but having less spare time for flight sims and homepits, I found back my WOV copy for quick and dirty gameplay with the cheapest joystick, and found myself having just as much fun with it as I did before. I just love those Thirdwire early jets and cold war era atmosphere, and one can learn basics, or come back to these games and try to play with more "realistic" procedures. Well, thanks to thirdwire, CombatAce, and the whole community for years of fun, hope my humble contribution will add to the pack.

      Edit: Forgot to add proper installation instructions:
      1.backup your Airfields.ini.
      2.Drop the content of the zip onto your  ...Wings Over Vietnam/    game directory.
      3. That's it. To uninstall, just remove those files and you'll be back with vanilla packed .inis, or replace with your backup ones if already modded.

    16. 65th Aggressor Squadron F-35

      This is the skin i made of the 65th Aggressor Squadron F-35 of the USAF. The skin it self is not completely accurate or perfect. i didn't put much time  or effort into the skin so feel free to make any adjustments. 
      The 65 AGRS was previously active at Nellis from 2005 to 2014. they were recently reactivated and will use F-35s to simulate enemy jets. the strange camo of the F-35 replicate the camo on the J-20.

      These skins are designed for a 'start of the war' time frame, up until approximately July/September 1942. Basically, up until Midway, although Shokaku and Zuikaku skins could probably be used up until the Battle of the Eastern Solomons and/or Battle of Santa Cruz time frame.

      This is a set of high resolution (1024x1024) tiles for America North West terrain. Installation is simple, just unrar all the *.BMP's into your ANW terrain.
      Tiles were as usual made with help of satelite imagery, and are actually taken more from mid West USA than North West, but I think they still fit into general terrain idea.
      Dont get too concerned with high resolution or the size of the tiles, ANW terrain has only 6 tile types so this mod will not have any performance impact whatsoever, I tested it personally under WOI on my aged system and it went super smooth.

      Soko G-4 Super Galeb is single-engined basic/advanced flying and armament trainer with light attack capability,powered by one DMB (Rolls-Royce/Bristol Siddeley) Viper Mk 632-46 turbojet .
      The aircraft was meant to be the advanced trainer for the former Yugoslav Air Force , substituing the elder Soko G2 "Galeb"in early 80's.The aircraft is usually compared with other planes of the
      same type like Bae Hawk,Alpha Jet , although it is smaller and lighter .
      It has never exceed the speed of 921 km/h at 11,000 m and maximum level speed "clean" 920 km/h at 6,000 m .Despites the nickname"Super Galeb", the aircraft is completely different from the elder Soko G2.
      The good aerodynamic qualities are obvious in many airshows proving a very friendly and easy control of the airframe, between -4.00 and +8.00 G ,besides the semplicity and the durability.
      The main armament of the aircraft is composed by rockets, bombs, cluster bombs, droptanks and the specific gun pod using Gsh-23 cannon.Some references talk about a special recon pod mounted, which permits at
      the aircraft to be used in recon missions.
      The G-4 saw many combat missions at the beginning of the Yugoslav wars, used like light-attacker. In total there were three Super Galebs shot down with pilots safely ejected.
      During the Kosovo War the G-4 was used in few combat missions attacking the KLA positions in Kosovo at treetop level without loss, proving the high qualities of resistance to light SAMs and ground fire.
      However, seven G-4 aircraft from the Lete?e Zvezde display team were destroyed in an underground tunnel at Golubovci Airbase, afer lasr guided bombing.
       
      In the early 1990s the G-4 was a contender in the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System program in the U.S and was highly praised by American test pilots who flew it.
      It lost the bid to the Raytheon/Pilatus entry, which became the T-6 Texan II.the only export order made for the aircraft was for six planes by Myanmar
