It has been CombatACE as long as I've been a member. I don't remember how I originally came across the site but I have owned about every iteration of SF ever released. This has always been my go-to place for that sim. I even treated myself to the all-in-one install for my retirement. I won't be leaving here any time soon. Finagle willing.

I forget what the website was called before ownership changed hands and the name changed to CombatAce.

Before it was CombatAce, I believe it was BioHazard as DA mentioned, old URL was http://dev.biohazcentral.com/ (old captures can be seen on the wayback machine).

Congrats to @Crusader and @Wrench and the rest of you on the 20 year mark! Because it's your CA birthday, that means you brought the beers and cake in... right?

As Jimbib say's it was BioHazCentral  before becoming CA, we all kind of migrated over here one the bickering and infighting over at SimHq got a bit too much.

I joined in October 2003

Things were pretty calm to start with then then YAP fiasco erupted....( nothing to do with theft, this one , before you all start.) Caused a bit of unrest and bad feeling against some of our key members.....but like most internet forums things eventually calmed back down , and here are 20+ years later still going strong.

I actually had an account around 2011(hi,Menrva) when I was a kid, but apparently that account was stolen, and I don’t know what the purpose was.Or maybe I told somebody the password I dont remenber.

I even saw that he was still active in 2017...Looking for Douglas F3D balabala...

But I would say just let it be...after all I don't have a million dollars in a CA bank.

I came back here again around 2019 and everything was fine
