Following initial trials in the early 1960's the US Army purchased 10 Fiat G-91R1's for evaluation in Vietnam, much to the annoyance of the USAF ...After completion of the trials the US Army requested delivery of a new planned G-91YS variant in the planning stages at that time. The USAF strongly objected fearing a rival to the F-5A and intrusion on their own missions sets. This was further exacerbated when the small, powerful, nimble, gun and missile-armed jets achieved some air-to-air kills. South Vietnam also trialed the aircraft but took the F-5 instead after pressure from the USAF and US politicians. The remaining airframes were shipped back to the states for disposal.

Decided to do this VF-111 CAG. Since the squadron was disestablished in '95 I guess I can apply it to the F-14A. The hardest part is cleaning up the shark mouth as it works so far, but needs some fine tuning in order to wrap around the nose, which is me figuring out how the nose is mapped:

The Blue Angels in the 80's... skin reworking for the current SF2 F/A-18A Hornet mod. Started with an old (SFP1 / 2006) skin (MarcFighters ?) from the C6 Megapack with new decals for details (patch, "Blue Angels", US NAVY,...). I've used the current Hornet templates.

When Russias behaviour became more and more aggressive against the West, the german government decided to increase the numbers of fighter planes by realignment of 12 new fighter squadrons, what means 480 new planes. To hold the costs as low as possible the german government decided for a licence production of the HAL Tejas, equipped with european engine EJ-200 and german weapons. The plane got the name "Orkan". 12 month after the decision the first Orkan fighters were delivered to the fighter squadrons.

#1 RCAF EF-101 with ''Lark One'' in the background. #2 RCAF 425Sqn ''Lark One'' retirement scheme. These are reworks schemes i made some times ago. Will release a V2.0 package soon with smoother skins/decals. As the original pack was one of my first skins :)

Learning a new skin is hard sometimes, but the best way to do it sometimes is just to do your own personal skin to figure out what goes where. I can't promise much with the TW F-14 but I got some decals from Dave that may help skin this plane up. Also, a download confirmed that the templates used for this are the ones by pappychecksix, so thanks for the wonderful templates, other than the drop tank, which i squared away as well. Also "deadened" the reflection part of the sun. USN birds aren't flashy and lo-visibility colors work best when the sun does highlight, but not brighten the skin.
