i will confirm, alot of the weapons from the ODS30AE are tweeked to work specifically with certain aircraft and even certain pylons (well, weapon stations to be specific). for general advice i will say this is the time to learn to compare entries and how things work. i wont give specific advice on any of it because there's a hell of alot. the head honcho for 30AE will probably tell you not to f*** with it as its worked on by a team to be as good as possible. while that is true, modders are tinkerers. pull s*** apart and put it back together again. learn how to do so and make it work. the experts even know how to hide the extra parts i wont tell you not to pull ODS30AE apart, might as well tell a tide to stay out. but i will say that assitance on specifics might be sparse. use the knowledge base, go through the old forum threads. there is alot of info in there that will help you

1982. What if UK would have sent the Royal Navy not toward the Falklands, but to the Rio de la Plata Bay. RAF Harriers in action. RAF 1 Squadron Harriers ready to take off. Found an hit the 25 de Mayo. 25 de Mayo burning and sinking. Heading home. And touch down.

I forgot I was a follower of Terrence Cole's YouTube channel containing just a single video about this OpenFA project of his. Well, just one hour ago, he posted a video about the release of an alpha version of his work. More links in the video's description. Apparently it's an open source recreation of Jane's Fighters Anthology engine. It does look good! Strike Fighters 2 WinX Edition is not going to happen, TK has been off the radar for so long. So I'm very curious about OpenFA. For the release to work, it seems it is required to at least install Jane's FA or one of its previous expansions/releases.

Personally, mixing and matching weapons is pretty much a no-no. For a 'vanilla' non specific mods folder, the regular weapons paks are MORE than sufficient.

Excellent news -- and if you ever find that mainstream Firefox is starting to slow down and/or use too much memory on your Windows 7 rig -- permit me to recommend a variety of Firefox "forks" that are usually lean and fast, and remind one of Firefoxes and Netscapes of yore (some representative ones to check out include Palemoon, Seamonkey, as well as the little-known ArcticFox that comes with a WinXP build but should be compatible with Win7 too). In the worst case scenario -- if you find yourself unimpressed by those various browsers, fire up a small VirtualBox install of a simpler Linux distro like LinuxMint, and run an updated Firefox, Opera, or anything else -- from within the virtual OS system itself -- but go down the VirtualBox route only if you have enough RAM on your rig -- recommended min. of 10-12 GB RAM if you want to juggle a virtualized OS install smoothly. Cheers all & happy browsing in lesser-known browsers, Von S

I have an ASUS that runs WIN10, WIN7 and WinXP. It was really designed for Win7/Vista and it has a few issues with WIN10. I have Win7 around for some games and WinXP for recording streams off the internet. My main gaming rig is a Dell G5. It only runs WIN10. Yes. I am a nerd.

Hi Wrench, I'm in the exact same boat - not switching past Win7 either and my old rig has been running exceptional. I might suggest taking a look at FireFox: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Thanks @Menrva for digging this up. It's an interesting nice project. Quotes from the project's website and gitlab: and I totally can relate to both. Although I would replace Janes Fighters Anthology with SF2
