    F-89 Radar scope, it is no longer too bright in cockpits and is readable. Feedback is always helpful, so should I make radar scope a bit darker? Eagle114th

    If anyone wants to talk about SF2 (and other Sims) in a grown-up and enthusiastic space, the YouTube SF2 streamer Devin Horner made a discord earlier this year (at my suggestion), because apart from this place there's really nowhere else. You can find it here: https://discord.gg/QRqnh9dU I'm a moderator there and very active, so can vouch for it. I'm a member of the TW discord and, while I haven't seen any really bad stuff yet, it isn't great for PC stuff. I also find it really weird the earnestness that people can talk about a mobile game!

    Hi Becker I don't know why Veltjen's Jasta 15 Albatros would come up with that label on it. It is labeled correctly in the WOFF Skin pack and it is not one of my Moded skins, it's a 2013 original which I have seen many times as I fly Jasta 18 and 15 most of the time. The Sim sometimes does glitchy things with the skins. I have seen, for instance, Jasta 18 skins on the lineup for Flight B, while the Flight A skins are from Jasta 17. It just happens sometimes. I have not, however, had a stray like this appear in Flight B. Although on occasion I will have something wierd in B fight such as a Fokker DVII with Richthofen's red triplane skin overlayed, which is quite an interesting sight. I think that happens with me because I mess around with the skins so much and I piss the Sim off. If it persists you should report it in the SimHq Tech issues thread. Jb

    Ya, it's got a LOT of folks that know little or nothing about military aviation, to say nothing of some "folks" that are not nice. I know some have been banned from here. It's not really worth it, very sad to say. If "owner" of that channel were to take a tighter reign on things, maybe it would be better (the Star Wars TieFighter Total Conversion discord channel is a perfect example of good folks running a tight ship; very cooperative and informative) The SF discord ... well, it lives up to the name, don't it?

    Apologies for the clunkiness but I have been seriously ill and unable to update the website. WM has his plate full doing everything. Go to the Simhq forum and there's a sticky post there about it too you can click on a link. We hope to update the website soon. The button is hard coded to go the the website, hence only showing 1.02. I'll add a post here too - just got to take it easy at the moment. Here you go...

    A-4's new radar scope, RWR, and gunsight I am stil researching on the different RWR variants of A-4s have used. The texture of RWR is based on the pictures of AN/APR-23, it can be found here: https://phantomphacts.blogspot.com/p/usn-ew-equipment.html I realized that the RWR may seem too bright, so I am re-working on the colors of RW and darken it (Due to SF2 lighting rendering system). And in the future, if anyone found more pictures avionics and requires re-texture, I am more than happy to do it, if time permits.

    Viper Dawn : First USAF F-16A Block 10s (for TW F-16A) This mod utilizes the stock TW F-16A Netz and previous work to represent the first three operational USAF F-16A wings (not the training wings). Featuring historical serial numbers for each unit, and markings to reflect the eras this is the most accurate skin representation of the early block (1/5/10) F-16s to date. I use the same TW model for all three as the biggest visible difference in the three was the black radome on the Block 1s. I represented this via decal for the appropriate serial numbers and they were all delivered to the 388th TFW in in 1979. Otherwise it would be impossible to distiguish between teh three models in game. Included - 2 363rd TFW skins for the 17th TFS "Owls" and 19th TFS "Gamecocks". Note the 17th would go on to rename as the Hooters after they transitioned to the C/D model F-16 - 4 388th TFW skins, represented these units in operation from the first USAF Vipers in 1979 until their transition to Block 15s in 1983 - 12 474th TFW skins. The 474th operated the Block 10 from late 1980 until the wing was disbanded in late 1989. These dozen skins reflect some of teh marking changes for the three squadrons over nearly a decade of service - weapons in use by the early Vipers in the early 1980s, with some ini tweaks by myself Required valid copy of Strike Fighters 2: Israel Instructions unzip, unload contents of "2 Mod folder" into mod folder of your choice. allow overwrites if needed NOTE: there are two previous F-16A Block 10 mods based on the TW model. this mod is based on them, but with improvement. because they leverage the TW model and are image and ini only, i have kept teh basic inis in this release for your convienence. But it was made much easier to create standing on their shoulders ****************NOTE*************** This mod heavily leverages decals that are meant for a Team Viper Block 10 set, and feature decals and number list entries for the B models as well. Due to lack of a TW two seat F-16, these are restricted by ini however, when a Team Viper Block 10 becomes available, the decal set here will be ready to go speeding up release of this skin set for the new models.     This F-105D (stock TW ac ) sight mod I made some years ago has revised sight settings for gun/bomb/rockets. For dive bombing from 12k ft .. iirc. Rocket settings - I dont remember anymore. Sight reticle has accurate shape

    Indeed Got a PM from dtmdragon, and he enhanced the Block III cockpit a bit. Personally I do like the coloration and how it looks closer to the real thing. It'll go in the next update, which is in two weeks again.
